• hrprvilla_jr (4/5): Terrible room but with good air con and location. Would not recommend but fine for a cheap night - Air conditioning in room was good. Location was very close to football stadium and Taksim centre. Free WiFi. Only one of the two beds had a duvet and pillow case (this wasn't rectified until the next evening). As such, I had to top-and-tail (which made upgrading to the apartment pointless). We were told not to use the tap in the "kitchen area" in the room as it was broken. Only one of the power sockets had power (not joking or exaggerating - luckily I had a dual USB adaptor so my friend and I could charge our phones otherwise we'd have been stuffed). Room smelled of musty smoke. Shower smelled bad. Was told I needed to pay extra for not checking out in time despite booking for three nights. Had to find my phone to prove that I had booked for three nights via Booking.com. "Apartment" was one room with two beds and a sofa.

• Waleed (1/5): Bad stay in my life - Nothing mentioned Everything was very unclean, the place smelled strongly of cigarettes, I had a child with me, there were no slippers for the bathroom, the floor was very dirty, the sheets were infested with insects and unclean, the shower area was broken, the toilet had a foul odor, and the trash had been there for two days. There was no cleaning service.

• Nourchaine (1/5): - I didn't like anything BE AWARE, The photos aren't the same as the reality believe me, The room and the furniture were so old that we couldn't stay for 1 hour, we immediately checked out and went to another hotel. The stairs are rotten, no elevator, furniture is outdated a lot, sheets are not clean, view on debris, mold in the windows, doors, everywhere. Totally regret booking this hotel. I wouldn't stay there even for free.

La douche était cassé et quand je suis partie de l’hôtel il n’y avait personne pour le check out. C’était pas très professionnel.. il y a également beaucoup d’odeur de remontées d’égout dans l’appartement qui ne ressemble pas vraiment aux photos. Dommage

Нас никто не встречал, хотя накануне с нас взяли предоплату, и хозяин знал о нашем приезде. Пришлось звонить хозяину. Он приехал и сказал, что поселит нас в другом отеле. Для нас по разным причинам было важно наличие кухни. Мы специально бронировали апартаменты поэтому. Я спросила хозяина, апартаменты ли новый отель. Он ответил, что да. Как выяснилось, в новом отеле нам предложили комнату 8 кв. м. В ней помещалась одна кровать, малюсенький столик, закуток с душем и туалетом. Из апартаментов остались только холодильник и электрический чайник:)) На вопрос, а где же заявленные в бронировке удобства, был один ответ, что этот отель их не предоставляет. Пришлось срочно менять отель. Деньги нам, правда, вернули, но кто вернёт время и нервы?

Из двух дверок открывается только одна, если человек полный, он просто не пролезет. Мы еле пронесли чемоданы. Комната ужасная. Шторы оторваны и висят на двух крючках. Ужасно грязно. Когда мы пришли в номер в туалете уже было полотенце на полу и везде волосы, унитаз грязный. Даже постельное белье не поменяли. Там была грязная простыня с мужскими волосами короткими. Полная антисанитария! Мы заехали вечером, мужчина на ресепшене нас встретил, открыл дверь и ушел, больше там на ресепшене никого не было. Мы ушли гулять и когда вернулись ночью в номер увидели, что постельное белье грязное после каких то людей даже не сменили. Но в отеле не было работников чтоб попросить заменить. Нам пришлось спать в куртках, чтоб не подхватить какую то заразу на этом грязном белье.

• Mohammed Yassine (5/5): La vérité. - 1- L'emplacement c'est le meilleur de taksim vous avez en bas trois supermarché et la station de bus almadag à 2min. La station métro à 5min. Et c'est une raison suffisante pour prendre cet appartement. 2- la tranquillité du quartier est top pas de bruit excessif on dormait très bien. Pas de boîte de nuit ou de musique ou de passant c'est une ruelle tranquille... La porte vitre du balcon n'est pas insonore on entend une moto ou quelqu'un parler ou les mouettes ou l'appel à la prière. Mais vraiment vraiment ce n'est pas du tout dérangeant et très acceptable on dormait très bien. Le bruit n'était pas un problème du tout. Faite moi confiance. 3- une grande pièce largement suffisante pour trois. La chambre 5. Largement. Mieux qu'à l'hôtel. 4- l'hôte répond pour le checking à 20:00 il a monté les valises et nous a montré les équipements. J'ai envoyé une demande précise mais n'a pas répondu j'ai compris que ce n'était pas possible. Car le lendemain il m'a demandé si tout allait bien j'ai dit ok on fait avec. 5- le papier toilette est disponible à l'accueil et le wifi de qualité. Chaque étage (2 au total) a un routeur) le tout commande en bas. 6- les draps sont anciens mais propres lavé pour le checking. Nous avons utilisé nos propres draps mais aucun insecte aucune piqûre pas de tiques pas de moustique et pas de cafards c'est propre de ce côté là 7- une poubelle par étage pour débarrasser l'appartement. Alors oui beaucoup de détails qui fâche vraiment car il ne manque rien pour qu'il soit parfait : 1- comme sur les photos des critiques j'ai fait les mêmes remarques... La moisissure des joints de la salle de bain ce n'est pas possible pour un hôtel. Les robinet sont rouillé. Il 'y a pas aération et surtout l'hôte n'a pas voulu fournir de raclette pour nettoyer car rapidement le sol est dégueulasse. Je suis propre donc je ne vais pas utiliser mes serviettes du visage par terre jamais ! Certainement c'est ce que font les gens mais non. On les utilise pour nous essuyer pas pour le sol. Une simple.raclette de fenêtre suffirait pourtant. On n'a pas voulu l'acheter par principe. 2- le grand lit alors les commentaires sont justes ce n'est pas possible un lit totalement déformé ma femme était haute et moi j'étais bas. Je vous jure que la place est une pente bon ça ne m'a pas dérangé car trop fatiguée mais non un hotel ne devrait pas avoir un matelas incliné. C'est propre mais pas du tout adapté. 3- le canapé et les chaises regarder les photos l'hôte les voit aussi mais ne fait rien. Le canapé est plein de tâches on a posé les valises dessus car il n'est pas question de s'assoir dessus on 'e sait si c'est des règles ou autres traces humaines j'ai demandé un drap pour le couvrir en mettant une photo pas de réponse donc à prendre tel quel. Le prix est donc non justifié. Certainement que l'hôte se dit qu'à ce prix on ne trouvera pas mieux... désolé pour un plaide ou un drap au dessus agrafé ou zip à changer l'appartement serait top. 4- les serviettes n'ont pas été changé pendant 10 jours je n'ai pas à le demander ça doit être automatique lorsqu'on dépasse 5 jours. Pour trois personnes on a eu trois serviette de visages et deux serviettes de douches en tout et pour tout.

La chambre était immonde, dégueulasse, humide, avec une douche bouchée. Il restait des claquettes et des boissons d’anciens clients. C’est une arnaque, les photos ne reflètent pas du tout la réalité. Pour ce prix-là, on trouve largement mieux et plus propre.

• pinosgram (4/5): Avoid if possible! - The location? Great. The bed? Not so bad. The price? You kinda get what you pay for, I guess. Everything else is terrible; the pictures are completely deceptive, and you are not going to get anything remotely similar to what you see in the pictures. The building stinks of cigarette, the place is dirty, and you can tell it's lacking maintenance, communication with the owner is impossible, and the view is not even similar to what you think you'll get. I recommend paying more instead of going to this place.

Walking distance to the airport bus, easy if you d - I did not stay in the actual property Life Taksim but I was moved to another location due to pipe problem. I’m not sure if the other property was also own by Life taksim. But I’m glad Özgür helped me a lot with the relocation and very kind. I’m surely going back to the property due to its location and the place is cozy and clean. No elevator :-(

La chambre est propre. J’ai senti une odeur d’humidité assez désagréable qui m’a mis mal à l’aise. La connexion Wi-Fi n’est pas bonne et il y a un problème d’évacuation de l’eau dans la douche.

• Anastasiia (4/5): - Из плюсов- месторасположение. Хотя можно за такую цену найти и ближе к площади Таксим и с лучшими удобствами. В номере не было полотенца и туалетной бумаги. Принесли спустя час. В ванную комнату просто невозможно было зайти. Ужасно неприятный запах ( насколько мне всё равно на запах,но этот...я реально задерживала дыхание,что бы просто сходить в туалет) Двухспальная кровать с одной стороны была сломана и под матрас просто наложили одеяла и подушки в следствии чего - ночью просто скатываешься с кровати. Кастрюльки,сковородки нет. Также не было даже 2-х пакетиков чая или кофе с сахаром...Хотя в отелях такой ценовой категории это всегда есть. Не рекомендую.

When we went in the room had stained bedsheets and I found a used period pad (with blood) in the shower. The toilet lock didn’t work so a member of staff came with a knife to try and open it. The host sent me an aggressive message over WhatsApp telling me that I made all of this up and this was not a hotel so I should lower my standards.

• David (1/5): Felt like we've been scammed - The hotel is located in a good place, close to many restaurants, supermarkets and bus stops The photos of the room we had booked were completely different from the reality. We booked a room for 4, despite being only 2 because we wanted a big and full of space room, and the room they gave us was not nearly as big as in the picture, didn't have a coach, didn't have a balcony, was located in the basement and everyone could see you through the window. I told the manager of the hotel about it and he started saying that why would we want a bigger room if we're only 2, there was plenty of space... lame answer, he stopped answering at some point. There were two times that there was no water in the apartment, for the whole night we didn't have internet. Several things in the room were broken, the toilet seat, the towel rack, the shower, the sockets... Not to mention that the address on booking is not correct and we took nearly 20 minutes to find the correct place.

• Sharareh (5/5): I don't recommend it to anyone unless you have to. - Staff was friendly. Location is excellent. If you get the rooms in pictures , they are good for the value. stayed over 10 day with a large family so we reserved 4 rooms. First of all I was told each apartments has a studio and a queen room which wasn't correct so I had to book another 2 bedrooms later to fit us which was still valuable. Unfortunately, we we arrived we got a room in basement without windows, full of mold and snails were walking arounds . After 3 nights , we got another room instead which was smelling smoke and we couldn't breath. It had electrical issue so we couldn't use AC. The other room A/C wasn't cooling as well. There are several issues with plumbing, shower, stairs, that could be fixed easily before our arrival but nobody cares that much. Please make sure under no circumstance you get basement room and unit 1. Booking shouldn't allowed this property to rent them to anyone .Pictures in booking.com are only for the best room not other rooms. There are enough pot and pans for a light cooking. One of rooms mattress was smelling awful. It's good only for families who have limited budget.

Taksim is very expensive area but the superstore like Carrefour and sok both are right outside the property so thats very economical. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Istaklal street is 6min walk away. Metro and bus all over Istanbul right outside. Despite being in the busiest area of Istanbul (taksim) this property is in a very very quite street. The owner of the property is above all. Ozgur is a thorough gentleman. He is so helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend the property and would definitely come back soon. Thanks ozgur. Your a 🏆 champion. Tbh nothing everything was spot on.

SCAM ALERT 🚨 This place is a DISASTER! • No heating and no hot water upon arrival at night. • Crumbling stairs, missing essential elements like light switches, broken sockets, and non-functioning lights. • Filth, stench, and complete neglect! After spending the night in sweatpants under two blankets, the owner promised a refund, based on which I booked another place. But then he backed out, claiming everything was fine! ⚠️ Stay away! Looks like they keep changing names to scam more people!

The apartment is in a basement, there is only one blind window, very dark and hard to breathe inside. The bathroom is small and quite dirty. There kitchen is completely unfurnished - no cutlery, stove, pans or pots, boiler - so it’s not a real kitchen and it’s impossible to cook even a basic tea or coffee.

• Ialan (9/5): Superb - It was the second time I stayed at this Apart Hotel. And a lot of renovations and improvements were made to this place. I felt very comfortable and welcome. The place is very quiet and you can relax very well. Large rooms and large kitchen. You have everything nearby, a lot of supermarkets, Bus and Metro, and only 5 minutes to Taksim and Istiklal I warmly recommend this hotel. . Nothing
