- Mark (2/5): Bad on almost all counts - Location Read the small print very carefully. You must pay a 100€ deposit and send them a full Foto of your passport - I do not think this complies with EU data protection rules…
The key collection is 5 km away from the apartment, in a postbox in a co-working space…
They left the wrong key for us.
They gave us the wrong code to get into the apartment.
The balcony was very dirty, cigarette butts on the wall and floor, lots of dirt.
There is no sound isolation whatsoever between two apartments (the other is managed by the same company). We could hear every word, toilet flush etc as if they were in the same room.
The bathroom has thick dirt in the corners and one of the walls is rotting due to an unattended leak from the water tank (I informed them of this).
The WiFi router is located in the other apartment so if those guests turn it off there’s no WiFi. That happened. I reported it via WhatsApp and they said they would contact the other guests. I never heard anything again. I went myself the same day and the neighbor guest turned it back on.
The deposit was only returned when I chased it 10 days after check out.
On top of this the communication was terrible. Rude, unhelpful, incorrect, and constantly nagging me about my responsibilities, without giving any impression that they understand that they are in the hospitality business. They were extremely inhospitable.
I wish I’d cancelled the booking when I read the reviews again before making the payment. Home for Guest is obviously an incompetent apartment manager.
- Jurgita (1/5): Bad - Check in was absolute nightmare! I had to wait outside for nearly 2 hours for somebody to come and let me in the property. Also I have been asked to pay extra €100 for deposit which I never got back!!!! Absolutely terrible!
