Guest Reviews
- Pippa (10/5): We only had one night stopover but very comfortable night. - The home had everything you need, even a tin opener 😊. We only had one night stop over but beds were comfortable and especially the pillows. Wesley was exceptionally helpful and hospitable. No complaints
- Melissa (10/5): Great value house - The house was very clean and in a very central location. It was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Great layout. The instructions on which property could be clearer by just adding the A or B (there are 2 carports which was a little confusing)
- Sherelle (8/5): Was a lovely house and good location - Comfortable beds
- Marshman (8/5): - Great location. Nicely set out. The fan in the backbedroom was difficult to turn off.
- Dawes (8/5): -
- Damien (9/5): awesome!!! very much recommend, host was extremely helpful aswell! - fantastic little home! clean very comfortable with great amenities, will def stay here again if we are back here working
- Peggy (1/5): Disappointing. - Everything was broken, run down dirty lots of ants. Wasn't worth the money. Very disappointing Everything broken didn't work? TV didn't work Wi-Fi didn't work aircon, very noisy, couldn't use it.
Barbecue, chairs outside dirty cushions, cobweb, on lights, broken cupboard doors in the kitchen garden was unbelievable. Very untidy. nothing like the photos. We paid over $1600
I've taken lots of photos
- Alan (9/5): - Lots of room, tidy clean and comfortable. Second shower room and car park is a nice bonus
- Scott (7/5): V pleasant stay - The air con
- Glenda (10/5): Awesome it was great, thank you Wesley it felt just like home. I will definitely stay here again - I loved the house, location and it had everything we needed.
The washing machine and dryer was great and there was a playground just around the corner for the kids.
- Allise (7/5): Short Stay - Presented well for an older home, nice touches with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in both showers. Well equipped kitchen too. Very lovely host who communicated via email with all the extra information and dinner recommendations. Lawns nicely kept and well equipped kitchen.
Aircon in living area worked well. The main bedroom window air-conditioner is very loud and made it impossible to sleep with it on, as it rattled the window. Also needs curtians above the main bed as the street light shines in the room all night, then the sun in the morning.
Needed a bit of a general clean too, in the fridge was an opened empty long life milk, food reminants on the coffee table, mould on the ceiling in the main bedroom and under the lounges and dining table needed a clean. Strong mildew or mould smell near the lounge but did notice attempts to control moisture with moisture absorber containers around the house.
- Mariata (10/5): Charming Cottage close to Australia’s best beaches & tourist destinations! - Great peaceful location convenient to Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach, and not too far from Noosa and Australia Zoo. Board games, out door area, the comfort and cleanliness. Everything was great!

- rachel (8/5): Clean and comfortable accommodation - Good location, clean and comfortable accommodation Nothing
- Cameron (10/5): -
- Caroline (10/5): It was fantastic for a family, plenty of room and bright and clean home - The location, the beds were so comfortable and the provisions in the cottage were great! The cushions in the front chair were a bit hard and uncomfortable
- Jenny (8/5): We had a great stay- only one small problem was the noise from downstairs late -
- Christopher (9/5): - Great location, clean and tidy house. Fans are noisy and window rattler lives up to its name
- Brian (10/5): -
- Annette (10/5): The Gympie region was exceptional for a country get away. Went for Mary Valley Rattler experience which was exceptional. - Clean and neat well provisioned and close to city centre.
- Jan (9/5): Although a very short stay, the family loved the space and comfort. - Spacious, clean and beautifully styled.
- Tanya (8/5): Charming house with everything we needed - Plenty of separate sleeping areas and 2 bathrooms. Great kitchen Nothing
- Rachael (7/5): - Would be great base for a longer stay Some windows don’t close completely
- Selma (10/5): -
- llewellyn (8/5): Overall, it’s a good stay. - Lots of room, 2 good bathrooms, very good sized dining table for groups, additional supplies provided eg Alfoil, clothes washing liquid, salt/pepper, extra kitchen items like cake beater, heaps of crockery. Host very responsive. Answers phone immediately and also followed up next morning. 2 min drive into cbd. Air-con in lounge area. Good size front yard for kids. Minor things that can be addressed - but shouldn’t stop you booking. Overall it’s a very good house for the price. Small window in the main bedroom needs a curtain to block the street light and the old style box air-conditioning is super noisy. Issue with free TV - reception needs to be dealt with. (However not an issue for us over 2 nights as we used Netflix and 9 and 10 app). Include a broom and dustpan.
- Bill (8/5): Comfortable 3 br 2 bathroom home with every facility we needed. - The house was perfect for my work colleague and I. Two bathrooms and two large double beds gave us privacy and a comfortable nights sleep. The fully acquitted kitchen allowed us to prepare food easily.
- Quentin (8/5): Purpose of trip was to do the Mary River Rattler, and thoroughly enjoyed it. - Fire pit was great, pity there wasn’t a bundle of wood use and some fire starters, matches etc. A small thing, but little touches like this can add value. Looking forward to using the pizza oven, but was in sorry state
- Mogul (8/5): Cozy Cottage - We had a fantastic stay at Warm N Cosy Cottage in Gympie! The location was spot on, and the cottage was just the right size for us. It had everything we needed, making it a super comfy base.
The only hiccup was with the lock box PIN, but thankfully the owner was a lifesaver and came to sort us out. Huge thanks to them for that!
All in all, we're really happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this cozy little cottage to others. While we loved the location and size of Warm N Cosy Cottage, there were a couple of issues that took away from our stay. The biggest frustration was the TV not working to watch normal channels after a long 6-hour drive and wanting to relax - it was a bit of a letdown.
We also noticed the cottage could've used a good clean, particularly with the mould issue that's understandable given the humidity. We get it's tough to keep on top of.
- Maree (8/5): Cute little Cottage - Cute little cottage The TV didn’t work neither did the internet which was disappointing as we wanted to watch the State of Origin
- Zaneta (10/5): Relaxing, comfortable, clean, easy to get into, Nice outside areas. - The location was good. It catered for the amount of people that were staying. Nice an tidy. 2 bathrooms was great. Outside areas were lovely. I love being outside. So it was nice to sit outside for a cup of tea/glass of wine.
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good -
- Stibbe (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arty (7/5): Not much to say but we were there for work and it was very acceptable to our requirements - It has all you need and then some On our visit the air con to lounge was just a fan and needs a regas but oher than that it was all good
Dryer upstairs was not working but there was a second dryer downstairs working
- Wifey4lifey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Doust (8/5): Pleasant Stay - Lovely place, had plenty of kitchen appliances etc, rooms were all a great size, we felt very comfortable. The house needs air cons in the other 2 bedrooms, it would be very hot in the summer time, especially when the bedroom doors are mostly shut at night, fans wouldn't be enough and possibly each room have its own TV. The dining table was wobbly held together with a piece of cardboard.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louisekar (8/5): Very good - that there was a wing for my sister and her daughter to give privacy, that previous guest had stuff left over... the bed my hubby and I used closer to the back door waz noisy everytime we moved, looked under the couch very dirty. under the TV was dusty but I fixed the top surfaces... i did a clean...
- Jennifer (10/5): A home away from home. - Located in a quiet area. House was well equipped for a short or longer stay.
