MOM (5/5): Toutes les prestations promises n'ont pas été assurées - Bien situé. Beaux espaces clairs et salon confortable Manque de crochets et de vaisselle. Surtout pas de wifi ni de télé pendant 3 jours. Dommage que l'ascenseur soit en panne pendant les trois jours surtout pour un troisième étage

Lotus (7/5): - The appartment was really nice and located close lots of fun museums and shoppingstreets. Eventhough we didn't have quite enough pans to cook for 6 people the kitchen was really nice and big. Other than that the beds we're really comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. If you stay here make sure to bring your own tea towels, oil, and spices, because those aren't included in the kitchen. We had no wifi for our entire stay, we did check every day if the issue had been fixed but sadly enough it couldn't be fixed during our visit. The TV also didn't work but that wasn't as much of an issue.

Heidi (6/5): Spacious apartment - The apartment is in a great location and is very spacious. Unfortunately the lift was not operational during our 5 night stay, so having to go up 99 steps to the 4th floor was a little tiring each day! The wifi and TV was not working and unable to be fixed during our stay which was disappointing. It was a shame that these advertised services were not available as the apartment is a real gem. The lack of response from Smartflats to assist us during our stay. The provisions for cleaning were very limited for a 5 night stay (only 2 dishwasher tablets, no tea towels or cleaning cloths). Very limited cooking equipment. It appeared to have been recently renovated, and the wifi and TV were not connected. There was no communication to advise the lift was not operational. The apartment is not air-conditioned and there are no fans available.
Elida (9/5): Superb - Super central location, spacious apartment with a nice living room/ping pong area and kitchen. Nice bathrooms and bedrooms.
Peter (5/5): Good value accommodation and excellent location for our needs but not quite as modern as it looks! - Good location and accommodation had everything necessary. The flat was a bit quirky in layout (connecting bedrooms) but as it was a short stay and we didn't spend too much time if was fine for our needs. However other guests might be disappointed. A lot of stairs and no elevator. Definitely, not accessible. In fairness, I noted that having a lot of stairs without elevators seems to be fairly common in Antwerp ;-)
Geraldine (6/5): A lot more attention to detail is needed by Smartflats. - Well placed in a convenient part of Antwerp. Modern flat with new equipment, not easily figured out ! Check-in on line was a nightmare. Smartflats asked me to send a copy of my ID, credit card, and signature. Any bank will tell you not to divulge all that. And then they asked for €300 caution (which they did not take). AFTER check-in we were told there was no lift, which was a necessity for us. The photos on Booking correspond to a mixture of Smartflats' offering and it is not clear in advance which one you are getting. (Some of the flats in the same building have lift access, and some have a view over the rooftops).

Mahmoud (7/5): The apartment is clean, modern and has an excellent location. - There was no breakfast in the apartment. The location was great and beautiful and it is in the heart of the city center with easy access to all the city attractions. I didn't like the noise in the last bedroom at night from the air conditioning fans of the building overlooking the room's window. I couldn't sleep comfortably all night.

James (7/5): Good place to stay, could have happily stayed for more time. - It was a large, well presented apartment. We were looking for a place that would be appropriate for a large group of friends, and we found it. It was only a short walk from the main areas we wanted to visit, so it was good. There wasn't enough toilet roll, and the ping pong ball was defective. One of the main draws was the ping pong table, so that was a little disappointing. With regards to the toilet roll, I feel it would have been enough for most people, but we were a group of 7 lads, 3 of which have bowel issues and needed to use the toilet more than average.

Sacheendra (10/5): Great place for a group of friends catching up - We used the table tennis table a lot. It was a lot of fun for the group! The living room and kitchen were large enough for the whole group to hangout comfortably. The apartment was clean. All appliances and fittings worked well. There was plenty of cutlery and pots for cooking. The mattress was too soft and the blanket too warm. Might be better later in the winter. A alternate blanket for warmer weather would be nice.
