• Sofia (10/5): Perfetto - La camera molto bella e ampia, un letto gigante, il bagno e doccia spaziosi. Il silenzio e la tranquillità impagabili. La cucina esterna molto comoda e ben fornita. Ma più di tutto l’accoglienza e la disponibilità di Mariela e la sua famiglia. Tutto incredibile! Speriamo di poter tornare presto ❤️ Grazie per tutto

• Valentina (9/5): Struttura ottima ti senti come a casa. - La struttura molto accogliente le camere sono adiacenti alla casa di Mariela che ci ha fatto sentire come in famiglia, ogni nostra richiesta è stata soddisfatta, la spiaggia è a cinque minuti a piedi ed è la più bella dell’isola. C’è anche a disposizione una terrazza ventilata con annessa una cucina attrezzata per gli ospiti. L’unica cosa che mancava era una doccia esterna per quando arrivi dal mare.

• Wendy (10/5): Liefste gastvrouw, beste verblijf in Providencia - Tijdens onze 5 weken rondreizen door Colombia werden we hier het best ontvangen. Mariela en haar gezin zijn zo’n warme en gastvrije mensen. Hun mooie huisj ligt wat hoger waardoor je in de verte de zee ziet. Je wandelt in 5 minuten naar het prachtige strand van South West beach. Fijn huis, terras en prima kamer met goede airco. Mariela zorgt voor een taxi, tuktuk … wat je maar nodig hebt voor een comfortabel verblijf.
• Martin (10/5): Un sitio ideal para desconectarse y descansar del ruido. - Doña Mariela y su esposo son excelentes anfitriones. Nos sentimos muy bien acogidos, han quedado en nuestros corazones. La limpieza es excepcional. Es un lugar muy tranquilo, la vista es muy linda. Además tienes acceso a una cocina. Al quedar al lado sur está cerca de la playa más grande de providencia, así que puede disfrutar de restaurantes ubicados en la playa. Hay una pequeña panadería y un supermercado cerca. Por otro lado doña Mariela nos guió en todo momento para tomar tours o movilizarnos en la isla. Sin dudarlo volvería a hospedarme aquí. Providencia es en todo sentido un paraíso, no solo por su naturaleza sino por su gente, su gastronomía y la calidez que trasmite. De lejos una de mis mejores vacaciones.
• Louise (10/5): Séjour incroyable avec un accueil chaleureux et familial - Nous avons été très bien accueillies, comme faisant partie de la famille. C’était parfait, on a passé un moment super, et Mariela nous a aider à réserver nos activités avec gentillesse. Dur de repartir!
• Nadia (10/5): - Mariela and her family are incredible hosts. I felt taken care of staying at their accommodation in a way that a typical hotel wouldn't do. They ensured that anything I wanted to do on the island, I knew how to do. Conversation with them helped me understand the history of the island and the people who live there. I felt like I was staying with family. I recommend that anyone coming to Providencia stay with them, specifically couples or solo travelers. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
• Jose (10/5): Great stay - You will have access to everything you need - I was going for a diving week, and the diving center is very close. The stay was great, and also enjoyed the breakfast everyday that comes with famous Providencia cakes and tropical fruit

• Helen (10/5): Perfect place in Providencia - Everything! Mariela’s place is just amazing, from the setting to the rooms but most of all because of Mariela and her family. I had the most perfect stay I could ever imagine and staying here was what really made this such an unforgettable trip to Providencia. Being able to use the kitchen was so useful and you are just a short stroll from the beach. Nothing - it was perfect!
• Patrick (9/5): Lovely family-run guesthouse above SW Bay - Mariela and her family are lovely hosts. The bed was big and comfy, the air-con worked perfectly. The room and bathroom were spotless. Clear communication over WhatsApp ahead of the stay. The only thing to be aware of is that the guesthouse is up a bit of a hill - nothing drastic, but noticeable in the heat - and the neighbours' dogs can be a little "in your face" in case anyone is nervous around dogs.
• Carole (10/5): Lovely local and homy - Brisas del Sur was a lovely stay like being just at home with the warm welcome of Mariela and the whole family. It gave us a very interesting insight into their culture. Beyond that, the place was in a very practical location for us, between beaches and dive shop, in a calm area a bit out of the main arteries, and always super clean and cosy. We’re very thankful for the stay and welcome!

• Sandra (9/5): Superb - Mariela does everything to give you a perfect time in her posada. Everything very clean and tidy. And she helps you with any extra service or activities you are interested in. The whole family is very sweet and it's a great opportunity to get in contact with a local family. The spot is perfect because you got one of the nicest beaches, restaurants and supermarkets in walking distance. There is also a kitchen which you can use in order to prepare your own meal. I can highly recommend Native Lodge Brisas del Sur :) -
• Dominik (10/5): Outstanding Lodge - I spent 9 nights at the Native Lodge Brisas del Sur and hed an unforgetable experience. The host family, Mariela, Tano, Helen and Chadelaine were incredibly kind and made me feel welcomed from the minute I arrived. The service was unbelievably good - Mariela organised everything for me, whether it was the daily, delicious breakfast, a motorbike, airport transfer, restaurant information and so on (all at the effective costs, without any surcharges!) - I just had to tell her what I need. She really made sure that her guests have everything they need to experience unforgetable holidays in Providencia. The Lodge itself is located near the most beautiful beach of the island and many restaurants are nearby. It is generally very calm and not noisy at all apart from occasional barking dogs or roosters (which can be found all over the island). The room is very comfortable and is equipped with everything you need - a king size bed, fridge, a really large bathroom including a big wardrobe, and an air conditioning which worked perfectly. There is a TV as well, but I never used it. Mariella cleaned the room everyday and changed the towels and bed sheets every three days. Furthermore, thanks to the host family, I got to know the local culture, food, music, traditions and people more which completed my holiday experience. The Brisas Lodge del Sur exceeded my expecations by far. I can only recommend staying with Mariela and her family.
