Pedimos prestados unas copas y amablemente nos prestaron para hacer un brindis. El AC está instalado de una forma que no permite que el 1er piso (donde está la cama) se enfríe, en lugar, la planta baja (donde está el baño) se enfría mas.

• Victorecua (7/5): Excellent location, poor in quality. - Location was fine! 1. I asked for soap and toilet paper. Answer: no soap is given here, only toilet paper. I had to tell them that in the next room there was sap enough. They picked it up from that room and gave it to us... incredile! 2. The room was divided in two rooms. The lower part had A/C. It was fine! But right where we had te matress... neither A/C, nor ventilator or anything.... We had to open the windows...

• André (1/5): Bad - I traveled more than 2 hours from Guayaquil and they called me at 16:45 to ask me at what time I was arriving, I wasn’t able to pick up the phone because I was driving and 15 minutes after that they cancelled my non refundable reservation because they decided to rent my room to another person. On the booking it showed that my check in time was from 14:00 to 20:00hrs and I was able to arrive at 6pm. It didn’t matter because to them because they already rented the room which left me with no place to stay in a fully booked town of Ayampe and all I got was one “Perdón amigo”. I was told that according to their “policies” they can only hold a reservation until 5pm although it is clearly written 20:00hrs (8pm) So if anyone tries to arrive after 5pm have a backup plan because your room will be rented out and they will do their best to convince you that is your fault for not picking up the phone Luckily customer support was great and gave me my money back but I ended up staying in a nearby town 30 minutes away with my Ayampe trip ruined.

• Stephanie (4/5): Expensive for what it was, cash only. - Basic accommodation in a great beachfront location if you are keen to stay in Ayumpe. We felt it was overpriced for what it was, especially when it came to the bed configuration - a mattress on the floor with just a sheet for a bed cover. It is well worth noting in advance that it is a cash only property at there is no ATM in the area (30 minute drive away to get cash out). Better communication - we would have liked to know in advance that we had to pay in cash, in full, on arrival. The bed and bed clothes need an upgrade. Window coverings would have been good too.
