Guest Reviews
- Tracie (10/5): Will definitely stay again. - peaceful and happy - Pet friendly - but no trace of another dogs - smells hair poo ect.
Few pet toys around the house
Beautiful location There wasn’t any issues.
- Lawrence (9/5): - Location
- Krystal (7/5): - Very pretty location; was soo nice to wake up to such pretty scenery. Kitchen was very well kitted out. Host was super responsive. The windows were soo dirty we didn’t even want to touch them to open the place up for some fresh air. The doona not being in a proper cover was really annoying. The fireplace being downstairs not in the main living space was a shame. No cushions on the outside furniture. No blinds on the main living area windows made it feel a little uncomfortable (no privacy) as the house and neighbouring chalet can see right in
- Kelly (7/5): Rosella - Beautiful bush setting, practical layout. If you like privacy this place is not for you. There are no window coverings on the living area and the upstairs shower, lovely during the day but completely exposed during the night.
- Sue (9/5): Relaxation 101 - The bush location and wildlife The stay wasn't long enough
- Geesje (10/5): -
- Aimee (9/5): -
- Moh (9/5): Very relaxing and enjoyable - Secluded, homely, excellent location, reasonably priced, well equipped and nice bush setting No tissues
Window to shower had no blinds or wasn’t frosted
TV channels limited and needs bigger smart tv
- Mat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (7/5): Good - Excellent location. Great for dogs! Only 1 tiny cutting board for the whole house which was odd. Leaking shower to bottom bathroom. Needs a better couch, very small and not very comfy. Minimal towels/ face washers provided.
- Marnie (7/5): Lovely home in need of a few fixes - Lovely location amongst the trees, comfortable beds, great kitchen. We stayed here 15 months ago, and the issues seen then are still there:
- A large amount of water damage and a hole in the ceiling below the upstairs shower in the downstairs bath
- A see-through door (so you can see anyone on the toilet) that also doesn't close in the downstairs ensuite.
- Only one couch upstairs for up to 6 people doesn't really work? Have to sit on dining room chairs to watch TV.
- DVD player but no cables, so no way to watch any of the huge amounts of DVDs provided (unsure if this was an issue 15 months ago)
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Leonie (8/5): Spacious, comfortable and well located - Centrally located to Yallingup attractions 1. Shortage of serving platters and teacups
2. Downstairs shower leaking from ceiling
3. 1 kitchen light missing
- Michael (7/5): Disappointed with the staff, no flexibility and constant emails - The location Very bland
- Jessica (9/5): A beautiful bush getaway - Rosella was a fantastic property to stay at and we actually did look to extend our stay but no surprises it was booked for the weekend!
Pet friendly as well so our dog was able to holiday with us too. The property has a perimeter fence surrounding which meant that she was able to toilet with out any troubles! Great amount of cooking utensils and everything you need to self cater etc. Our only knit pick was that whilst it is both pet and family friendly there is no vacuum or broom on site to tidy up after any pets or small children and there is a fee if there is excessive hair etc.
- Tyra (9/5): Perfect bush getaway in a lovely house - Great property well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nothing. It was lovely
- Jessica (9/5): Could live here 🥰 - Awesome secluded location with an enclosed yard for our pups. All amenities thought of including quality bathroom products, tea and coffee, wifi, google tv, cleaning products, washing products etc. Comfy beds, awesome bushland views, full equipped kitchen, everything you could need and only 1 min to yallingup woodfired bread Personal preference a bigger bed in the main bedroom would have suited us better & a blind in the main shower window would have been handy but otherwise, everything was amazing.
- Ben (9/5): Really nice and relaxing winter getaway - Great that we could bring our dog! Made good use of the fireplace. Lots of kangaroos in the bush adjacent to the house. Its not a problem, but note that there is a 'granny flat' right next door.
- Michelle (6/5): Pleasant - Nice location No firewood supplied as promised and downstairs very cold with out fire on
No dish sponges or cloths to wash / wipe up benches etc with
Lounge seating upstairs not very comfortable and two more lounge chairs would be good so people can sit together and enjoy view
- Summer (10/5): Peaceful dog friendly stay close to all amenities - Great location and facilities, perfect house for a group as each room has its own bathroom.
We took our dogs and they loved it, great to have a secure garden for them to play in aswell.
Staff were friendly and very quick to reply and send check-in details, will definitely stay again!
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Ahren (9/5): Superb -
- Deb (8/5): Wonderful secluded location - Location was wonderful and secluded. We were a family of 6, 3 generations and the layout was great for us. The area was quiet with wildlife all around. The property was equipped with everything and more you could ask for, including toilet rolls, kitchen roll, glad wrap, chrome cast, Bluetooth speaker, games, DVDs... little extras which were very thoughtful. Would definitely rebook again, close to everything in the area. Also received regular messages to check we were OK, and offering assistance anytime.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Tina (9/5): On balance we enjoyed the property and the proximity to the surrounding amenities. - We liked the house and gardens, especially the enclosed garden for our dogs. We loved our dogs were welcome. Just a small downside was the close proximity of the property next to us, there was confusion on access by the people renting the cottage, they made the honest mistake of going through the garden surrounding the property we were in, this caused problems with our dogs barking at them as they went in and out of the gate. They eventually drove around to the correct road access once we explained, not before they unpacked their vehicle though. It was a bit unfortunate for all concerned.
The outside table was a bit dirty and the internal floors needed a mop, we couldn’t walk barefoot as it was dusty.
- Manuela (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful house in a beautiful location.
- Todd (8/5): Great location, property had everything you would need for a relaxing stay. - Great location. Natural Bushland was beautiful. Open space and great lighting in the house. Loved the bathroom facilities in each bedroom.
Would stay again. Property was dusty and some of the downstairs linen had stains.
- Jane (9/5): A beautiful modern house in a quiet bush setting close to the best beaches in the world. - The location was beautiful and the house perfect. Having to come home!
- Damian (8/5): A nature stay in a house full of character. - Location was great, feels like you are with nature. Only thing I could pick was the upstairs shower was not very private with one of the windows you could see straight into the shower.
- Brenda (9/5): Very good in Yallingup - Great spot , clean Not enough tea condiments
- Walter (8/5): Relaxing enjoyable and comfortable stay. - Clean, good location, good facilities. TV was small… could be bigger size upstairs and a smaller one could go downstairs.
- Russell (8/5): Very nice well cared for property, clean, tidy and comfortable.. easy to get to local attractions - Location close to Dunsborough & Yallingup beach Window in upstairs shower was not a one way window so at night neighbouring property could see you in the shower
- Charley (8/5): Very good -
- Victoria (9/5): This property suited our family perfectly, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back again - The property was immaculately clean with everything we needed, in a quiet and peaceful location. Would be perfect in summer or winter. We were so impressed with the house and would stay again in a heartbeat The wifi didn’t work. We were surprised that there were no window coverings in the living area/kitchen for privacy.
More fire wood would be great for a 2 night stay as we ran out early on night two, however the property does have heating upstairs (so the fire was more of a novelty for us)
- Tanya (8/5): Perfect Winter break - Beautiful stylish house in quiet bush location. Perfect for Winter getaway. Great fencing around the house for dog.
Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms lovely. Very good quality bed linen much appreciated Little bit disappointing that wood burner is not in the main living area. Beds and main living area a bit small
- Georgia (8/5): Cozy, well appointed modern home in the forest - Great house in fantastic location. What a delight to wake up amongst the banks years and Jarrah to the sound of that song. And look out the window and see the kangaroos enjoying the first rays of sunshine.
The house is fantastic with each bedroom, having its own ensuite are really well appointed kitchen with quality, appliances. Everything was fresh and clean and ready for our arrival.
The Wi-Fi was problematic, so be prepared to maybe spend some time off grid, and just enjoy the birds and wildlife at the window for once instead. Wifi
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (9/5): Superb -
- Janelle (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely home in a beautiful location. Immaculately clean, and we had everything we needed. We had a very relaxing weekend and will definitely be back. No wifi connection.
- Sara (9/5): Great setting and perfect safe surroundings for pets - location was perfect and close to Dunsborough Nothing that comes to mind
- Anonymous (8/5): Overall was a good experience, just the Wi-Fi made it a bit more difficult with kids around. - The location was good. The master room on top floor’s bed size was a bit small for a couple with kids.
Wi-Fi wasn’t working so the kids had a hard time after a tiring day and made our stay more hard.
Tried playing the dvds but they dnt work either.
A little safety concern- if there’s a family staying with kids, the crockery on the buffet like table was a bit sensitive to take care. As we dnt want any breaking n hurting.
- Jason (10/5): A great place to stay - The home was gorgeous, in a serene location, very quite neighbourhood, and kept clean and tidy! Beautiful views and great for pets with fenced area to roam. Close proximity to a lot of the wineries also. Nothing to not like tbh
- Christopher (3/5): Very Disappinting !
Was a complete disappointment
Terrible !!! - The setting of the location. Away from the city centre The bathrooms were in a tiny nook , open without covered glass enclosure . Was terrible ! Moreover it was in winter with no concealment whatsoever..
There were no towels provided on the upper level . To add to our misery there was no wifi working and no TV to watch . In a day and age like the one we live in , it was a total disappointment and let down.
- Kathryn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marie (9/5): It was lovely and we will definitely use it again. - The quiet, beautiful location
The decor
Pet friendly
Coffee machine
Nice and warm Could do with another sofa or arm-chair upstairs
Couldn't use the DVD player
- Eliza (7/5): We both really enjoyed the house. Will definitely be back. - Great house!! Really enjoyed our night there. Would of been nice to have curtains/blinds in the kitchen lounge for privacy from the houses around us.
Also more firewood to keep going for later in the evening. If i had known i would of brought ours from home.
- Spires (10/5): Exceptional -
