- S (6/5): Overall quite an unnecessary stressful stay caused by AirHost and Booking.com - It's a shame because the apartment itself has great potential to be a great long term
*It is on a high floor, high ceilings, airy, light and quite spacious for a couple/2 people.
*It has a downstairs "powder room"/extra toilet
*Spacious wardrobes

*Kitchen equipped with good size FF, 4 hob plate, microwave, and pots/pans, kitchen utensils/cutlery, crockery. etc
*The location is great in that it has a Village Grocer on the ground floor - expensive but can get your basic items. There are other grocery stores a few minutes away
*Some cafes/restaurants/hawker eateries walking distance but mostly "junk food" type of place. Very little options for the health conscious, vegan/vegetarian places.
*The security guards helped us out a great deal.
Overall, it was okay but not "wow" for the price point. *Communication with Airhost and Booking.com was a nightmare! They were both very slow to respond - I heard from them today, 8 days AFTER checking out!
*I had reached out the Airhost for the check-in details because the booking confirmation had said we would receive this 7 days before arrival. We did not. Reached out Airhost 7 Days before and the night before arrival and at the last minute we were told they needed ID confirmation, which they could have requested when they confirmed the booking or when I had contacted them 7 days prior to arrival. We had already told them we were travelling and would have little or no internet access. This caused great stress.
*We were provided with the wrong lock box number to collet the keys. We did not have internet access and one of the residents very kindly lent us theirs to be able to communicate with Airhost/Booking.com. To be honest both were very slow to respond or did not respond at all. This caused even greater stress after a long journey and it was not necessary!
*Unfortunately the place had not been cleaned properly on our arrival. The bathroom floors were still wet and had dirty footprints. The bins hadn't been emptied and I even found the last guest's contract lens stuck underneath the bathroom sink.
* There were crumbs and ants and sticky stains on the table and kitchen worktops, which had not been washed or wiped down. The place was dusty. Basically it seemed the place hadn't been cleaned very well after the last guest
*There was an awful stench from the 2 bathrooms, which didn't go away throughout the whole duration of our stay.
* The furniture was old and scratched. There were stains on the chairs.
* It is not worth the price for the condition it was in.
We did reach out to Airhost with photos but they did not respond at all. They ignored out messages.
