- Nathan (8/5): Galapagos highlands - The bed was comfy and the kitchen had a good assortment of utensils. The skillet was the best we have had in all of south america. The room is nice and the AC (if needed) will keep you comfortable.Bellavista is very walkable and it is reasonable to ride the bus into the larger Puerto Ayora for ~.50-$1. Food and a grocery store are 2 minutes away. If you are tired of the beach or just want to explore the highlands area this is a good place to stay. The listing for this property stated that "free bikes" would be available to guests. Upon arrival to the home we were informed that the bikes were being "repaired". They offered to get us bikes we could use, but for an ADDITIONAL FEE?. This was a big dissappointment for us, as the only reason we booked the accomadation was for the bikes so we could explore the highlands of the galapagos. The accomadation could use a basic sign on the property door to let you know you are in the correct location. Even with google maps and maps.me app we had trouble finding the accomadation
