Guest Reviews
- Lilly (1/5): Don’t recommend - Location No wifi. No way to lock the door (no safety precautions). Dirty tables. Cobwebs. Sofa bed collapsed. Had to leave early due to the sofa bed collapsing
- BARRY (9/5): Nice comfortable stay for what I needed with everything I needed. - On reading previous reviews after booking I was a bit nervous of the amount of reviews were saying it wasn’t clean and the host was hard to get hold of for instructions on how to access the property . On the morning of my booking I contacted the host by txt to let them know my arrival time. I was given the access instructions within 5 minutes. I was still a bit nervous about the cleanliness of the property, on arrival instructions to enter were easy to follow and the flat was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, toiletries were supplied although I had my own anyway. Overall it was a nice place to stay and I found parking on the street outside the property. The only thing really if I’m being picky is there was no frying pan
- Laura (1/5): - close to underground station The host isn't available via phone and doesn't reply through booking so we sent him an SMS for the door code to which he replied. Entered the apartment and it was clearly used by the guests and a dog before us. The bedding and towels were used and there were no clean extra ones, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, rubbish was still full, pet hair on the sofa bed (!!), stains everywhere, used glasses...so I tried to reach the owner who only responded by sms that his cleaner was supposed to come. We asked for cleaning while we headed out for the day but when we came back, the apartment was still dirty. Host did not reply and phone was turned off. So we decided to call Booking and filed a complaint. We booked another accommodation for our stay and are still waiting for a refund. This is unacceptable and should not be on a platform like booking. Also, there is no WiFi.
- Terry (6/5): - Location and ease of access was great. Not having to worry about a key was fantastic. Unfortunately, the double bed was very tiny and the sofa bed for the additional person was like sleeping on concrete. We had to pad the sofa out with extra pillows to try and make it comfy enough for my daughter to sleep.
- amelie (6/5): It was a nice apartment but terrible communication - The property is just like the photos good light in the apartment nice bedroom After contacting the host multiple times a few days prior we still didn’t get a single reply until we asked for check in which still took 25mins to get the information. The apartment wasn’t dirty but it was obvious a cleaner hadn’t come and an hour in our stay a cleaner showed up apologising said the host callled her last min forgetting he had a booking (even tho I had contacted him multiple times including the phone number) and asked if she could clean the apartment luckily we were going out for the evening so it wasn’t a problem and she did a great job there is also no WiFi although it states in the booking
We were prepared for all that happened as we did see the reviews but still very unprofessional of the host the communication was terrible
- Susan (5/5): Great location, nice accommodation, but poor host communication - We booked this property for 2 nights because of the location to the Brockley station and the ease of getting in and out of London City. The apartment was clean and bright and had all the facilities that you needed for a short stay. It was very reasonably priced to There was no welcome pack or instructions on how anything worked. It advertised that there was free WiFi and a bath, however there was no access to WiFi and the plug for the bath was far too small so we were unable to have a bath, which was disappointing as this was one of the reasons we booked this place as a bath was important. Also the shower was powerful, but too powerful for the shower screen. The sealant was poor and the bottom of the door didn't quite reach the bath so there was a lot of water that got on to the floor. The host emailed us the door codes and said we could contact them at any time with queries. We called, text and emailed the host as well as got in contact with Booking.com however we still have not received any response, which is so disappointing.
- Andy (1/5): Disgusting. No reply from landlord at all following complaint - It is close to excellent transport services into central London. The apartment was not clean when we arrived at around 3.15pm.
The previous occupants dirty towels were strewn on the unmade, dirty bed settee in the living room along with their dirty crockery on the table and litter on the floors.
The pots and pans used by the previous occupier were left on the kitchen counter and in the sink.
The bathroom was dirty, the used towels were in the bath which had hair all over it.
The main bedroom had been left how it was last used by the previous occupant.
No cleanning whatsoever took place.
It is a shame as it could have been a greay place to stay otherwise.
- Leanne (7/5): Good - Once we were able to get in the apartment is just right. Clean, compact, quiet. The bed was comfy. The area is nice and quiet but has enough nearby for food and drink. The host isn't easily contactable, it took a few attempts to get the check in info to get into the building but there was a nice pub on the corner while we waited. Couldn't find any WiFi info.
- Brown (7/5): Family stay for our daughter running the London marathon - Location was good and near to the marathon start.
The apartment was less than 10 minutes walk to Brockley station and there were shops and eateries nearby.
It was well equipped with toiletries, cleaning products and tea and coffee which we weren't expecting.
Access was easy out once we received the codes. Impossible to contact the host once we were in so glad there were no problems. No WiFi code was left and still waiting for a reply re this
The sofa bed was hard and very uncomfortable.
Found it a bit chilly the first 2 nights so extra bedding would have been nice.
- Takae (8/5): Good location, nice style - We enjoyed over all about stay. I like the fact that sleeping room and living room with kitchen is separat. We could quietly sleep every night. We took a bus everyday to London city centre, changing buses in between ( Waterloo, Piccadilly, Harrods, Buckingham Palace , Big Ben, London eye etc) It may take a bit more time than Train or tube but comfortable sitting in the bus to city. We enjoyed cooking at kitchen as well. we brought our own frying pan as I have seen in the previous review that there is no frying pan , and there is really no frying pan :) we used sofa bed for my husband, he is 180 height with 75 kg but he seems to be fine to sleep there, but I felt not so comfortable:) We did not get an instruction of an entry till day of arrival even I contacted two days before …as I have seen it in other reviews I have mentally prepare however it made me bit worry. Once I get an instruction it was easy to enter. There was mis arrangement of a cleaner and place was a bit mess from previous guests which I have already mentally prepared from other reviews. I called owner and cleaner ran to our place and clean up for two hours or so…She was very friendly and enjoyed a conversation however it would be nice if owner makes sure for a cleaning before new guests arrival. Anyway i would stay here for the next time as well as I like a location and style of flat
- Ren (9/5): Pleasant Stay, Walking distance to the Metro Station - Convenient Location with Easy Access to Metro and Great Facilities To get the access code for the property, it's recommended to contact the host via their phone number prior to arrival, as the host never reply on the website. It's better to reach out earlier to avoid any issues during check-in.
- Michał (7/5): Minor issues but for us this location was ok, best for 2 adults. - The location is good, it takes around 45-60 minutes with a direct bus to city center, what is ok. Around you will find good restaurants at good prices and groceries opened quite long. It was quiet location and neighbor was very helpful and nice. The kitchen is well furnished and bed in bedroom is comfortable. We have not received code for door from booking.com, as guest expected… it took us 15-20 Minutes on the street to communicate with guest about entry details via SMS, but his answers were quick and then it worked all well. Bed for our son (not the one in bedroom) is super uncomfortable, good that he is not teenager jet, as then we would have a problem. This apartment is good for 2 persons, the bed in living room can accommodate somebody after spending long night in a pub, when it starts to does not matter where this person fall down.
- Arianna (7/5): Good -
- Richlove (2/5): Horrible start and very unsanitary - The location of the property was good. It’s close to a train station and has easy access to central London. Quite unclean. I booked it as the reviews suggest it was relatively clean. I almost had a break down when I saw the amount of dust everywhere, skid marks and stains on the toilet, hair on the bed and the general lack of cleanliness. The apartments had clearly not been cleaned prior to my arrival and had I not taken a second look my self I would have ended up probably using the bedding and items used by someone else.
The room was very small and the host was unresponsive. There appears to be a general disregard for cleanliness. I went to Tesco to buy bedding to replace the sheets my self after waiting for over an hour. On getting to Tesco I realised it was too late and I would not be able to wash the bedding before used. I received a phone call from the cleaner while looking for an alternative accommodation. On speaking to the cleaner I decided to go back to the apartment only to be told she bought bedding on the way and had used the same bedding from the store shelf to make the bed 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. At this point I felt depleted as this was around 10pm and I had no more energy to argue. I had no choice but to sleep in it. I disinfected the place my self the next day and I will not be booking again as I do not trust the management of this property. There was barely anyone to speak to and it is simply not worth it. You’re better off at a hotel for the price you pay. I
- Ben (8/5): Very good - It was clearly newly furbished, it felt cosy with everything I expected to be there, was there. The pictures represent the place well. For some reason I didn't get the instructions before my arrival, but once I had them I was able to figure out what I needed. I was a bit stumped by the exterior door entry code (you had to press an additional key that wasn't mentioned in the instructions)
- Bright (9/5): Superb -
