Very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. Location is some distance from the town centre, and the road to access the property is very rough!
• Niall (3/5): After reading the great reviews we had high expectations. These were not met (perhaps because the owners were away). D - Rural setting out of town. Pretty backdrop Expensive meal and little effort to make our stay more welcoming. Dogs that barked all night making sleep impossible.
• Christopher (5/5): Good location and lodge with very complicated cash only payment - The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is very good for travelers crossing into Argentina from Chile. The estancia is very clean and well managed and esthetically pleasing. The disappointing surprise was that the staff asked to pay for the stay in cash or bank transfer upon arrival. We do not have bank account in Argentina. And who carries this much cash for three week vacation? We scrambled to collect the amount in two different currencies to pay. No receipt was provided. Also, one room did not have any hot water in the shower in the morning. I would suggest that Booking clearly indicates how the payment would work. In our case it said 50% would be charged upon booking and the rest settled upon arrival. No advance payment was charged, the lodge wanted all cash without receipt upon arrival. And why receipts are not given? In this day and age all participating hotels on booking platforms should accept credit cards. It was the only location in our almost three week travel in Chile and Argentina that did not.
• Dominique (8/5): Interesting experience in an isolated part of Argentina - Exceptional (but remote) setting (accessible via a mud track), welcoming staff, nice breakfast. Slightly overpriced
• Ian (9/5): Bit of a mixed bag … but we would still strongly recommend - Excellent large room. Beautiful site, super for walking up to the view point and back along the river. Magical. Good stopping point on ruta 40. Very nice and friendly staff. Nice dining room. The bed was Rock hard - the hardest we’ve ever slept in, by a long way! The dinner was both terrible - the worst in 4 weeks in Chile & Argentina - and also absurdly, comically expensive. 30 USD each for a tough steak and some tinned fruit and ice cream!!! 24 USD for a bottle of wine! My advice is cook your own meal instead. And the property should charge half for the food, 2/3 for the wine, and put those extra costs on the room price.

The meal very overpriced. - Sra Rosalia, the administrator and cook was wonderful, very welcoming, and made us a lovely dinner. Beautiful location, comfortable beds. The accommodation was very comfortable, but it wasn't as advertised, or we misunderstood what we signed up for..... The dinner was delicious, but very overpriced.

• Daniel (10/5): Farm far far away. - Amazing views. Farm with "guanacos" and peacocks. They have their own brand of water (Orizon). Home made breakfast. A little farm museum inside.
• Yiftah (9/5): Superb - The owner was very kind and friendly. She gave us time to arrange cashe for the payment with a smile and trust. The Bungalow is actually a 2 room apartment, fully aquiped, comfortable, and beautiful. Breakfast was nice and was served at the host private home. The location is further from the town center, which is also a benefit like in our case as we had a car. Price is relatively a bit high.
