Guest Reviews
- Irina (1/5): Traumatic experience - I did not have the chance to like it not because we did not stayed in that place.
When we arrived the door had an issue and we could not open it. We called and reported the problem. After half an hour a guy came and tried to open it unsuccesfully. After another half an hour came another guy with a toolbox and used different tools trying to open the lock Unsuccesfull.
They tried to broke the glass on the door with a hammer.. i was a small window glass on the door. They used a screw gun and a hammer making a lot of noise It was getting darker outside and people from this condominium went out on their windows looking at us.
They offered us 50 pounds to go for a dinner until they fix the door. We refused. We where tired after a long flight and we just want it to rest in a room. We didn't feel safe anymore in that place so we talked on the phone with a lady from.the property and after i told her everything that happend and that we dont want to stay there anymore because we feel unsafe, she sad that we will receive a full refund next day. We left after two hours to find a hotel in the area.
It's been 8 days and after many many discussions on whatsapp she agreed to refund only 40% of the amount even thow she assured me that we will get a full refund next day.
We did not received yet the partial refund.
I would not stay in that place not even for free.
The area is not safe, there are no pubs/restaurants or supermarket near. In the area smells very bad like pee. We did not see how clean it was inside but the windows and the small yard where dirty.
Awfull experience...
- Ian (2/5): Look elsewhere. - The location is excellent for getting around London. Lots of cleaning products under the kitchen sink. Look elsewhere. The facilities provided are not accurate and feedback from these reviews does not appear to be acted upon.
No dishwasher, the clothes drying rack is in many pieces and impossible to assemble, No iron. Mould in the shower tray is so thick - I did try to clean but has been there a long time and has etched into the tray. Shower drain was blocked - there was a plunger under the kitchen sink that I used to free the blockage. The shower head was leaking as the flex hose was not the correct one to seal. I bought plumbers thread and sealed it. The bed is so uncomfortable. The place is not clean and the broken tile in the kitchen is still there. No decent knife for carving in the kitchen.
- Lucia (9/5): Superb -
- Susiem05 (1/5): Horrendous stay - There is nothing to like about this place The property did not reflect what was advertised. On arrival the letterbox was missing from the front door so anyone could see inside the property from the street, I had to stuff it with a towel. The shower was filthy, the smoke alarm didn't have batteries in. The living room window pane was also filthy.
I have requested an invoice three times from the owners and still have not received one, I asked Booking.com to help, but still no.invoice.
- Mcgrath (8/5): Excellent place, comfortable, convenient and an ideal location - It was really close to the hospital we were attending and being on the ground floor was a big benefit too. It was also really convenient for any travel around London.
The decor was cute and the bed was comfortable.
It was a very comfortable place and was more than perfect for what we needed. The hot water heater and heating system worked perfectly. Having a washing machine was excellent for a longer time period. The front entrance looked a little run down. There was a smell of old cigarette smoke (which we dealt with by using sprigs of the beautiful Jasmine bush outside!). We couldn’t locate an iron which would be handy for longer stays. On that note, the kitchen could be better stocked, for example only one dinner plate.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (7/5): Inside is nicer than the outside (but sure you never really see the outside) - Comfy and clean and great location. The block is a little run down and the front door lock feels very flimsy, but it was perfect for a week when I was working nearby.
- Dahim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dr (5/5): Convenient location but disappointed with the quality- at least allowed late checkout. Thanks - Location No dishwasher as advertised. Bed was uncomfortable, garden was not well maintained and dirty. Only one chair. Very crammed and not 80m sq as advertised
- I.cibuku (10/5): Exceptional - I had a fantastic stay . From the moment I booked this place , the team was welcoming, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a great bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. The kitchen was exceptionally clean and well-equipped, which made preparing meals a breeze.
The location was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to help with any requests, making my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this flat to anyone looking for excellent service, a comfortable bed, and a clean, convenient kitchen!
- Ribeiro (10/5): PERFECT!!!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - An incredible house!!!!!!! perfect!!!!!! a passionate house!!!!! a house for you to spend all your vacations!!! everything clean. everything smells nice. everything tidy. everything organized. fully equipped kitchen. separate bathrooms, and a design on the wall with lights that made a lot of difference. everything perfect.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is better to say that the entrance to this apartment is on Lisson Street. The entrance is on a dead end street. A safe condominium. The carpet was dirty, which could be replaced with another one, perhaps in different colors.
- Philip (3/5): Great location but otherwise disappointing - Brilliant location 1. The booking was pretty straightforward and communication was good with any queries I had quickly responded to.
2. The confirmation came with the full address, but this is where things started to go wrong.
3. The address given is for Lisson Street BUT the 1st time you "check in" the actual security key box isn't on the Lisson Street entrance but the other main entrance. I noticed that other occupiers had the same confusion. You need to be more accurate with this point especially if the weather is bad and you will get some very wet and annoyed customers.
4. When you finally get in, you actually can't find the property as the gate is broken and it's completely overgrown.
Additionally the path needs jet cleaning, and there is recent evidence of cigarette butts just outside the door.
5. The door itself is old and now sticks, and, given how bad London is becoming again, there should be better security, i.e better locks
6. In certain parts of the flat paint is flaking off the ceiling.
7. The toilet seat is probably the wrong size but whatever size it is, it's loose and dangerous.
8. The shower is very good but the shower fitment is broken and needs replacing.
9. There is black mould around the sealant of the shower.
10. Both the window in the shower room and toilet are absolutely filthy.
11. The kitchen is a really good size, and, probably is actually too big given the overall dimensions of the flat.
12. You provide a hob and oven but there is absolutely no pans for the oven, the timer on the oven doesn't work, there is simply not enough variety in cooking utensils, there are cracked floor tiles and masses of fruit flies coming off the plants. I don't recall seeing any tee towels either.
13. There is a light canopy over the cooker but it doesn't work, but if it does, there are no instructions how to turn it on.

- I (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was very clean and in good location. We have really enjoyed our stay. The staff is always helpful. Would highly recommend it!
- Sharyn (6/5): Convenient location but unit is a bit shabby. - It was in a great location very close to public transport. The unit had a reasonable amount of space and had a good kitchen. Ground floor unit was great as we did not have to cart our bags up stairs. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice leafy aspect from the window. The property was run down. There were vines hanging over the path and front door and a pile of old cigarette butts next to the front door. I had to clear a hair blockage from the bathroom sink and the shower nozzle was broken. There was no toaster in the kitchen and we could not source pods for the coffee machine. There was only 1 chair to sit at the table. The bed has slats missing so when you sit on the end you sink down into the bed base.
- Lukić (5/5): Passable - TV was not set to work, you had only smart TV options.
Typicall London stay, overpriced apartments with low standard interior, size of the apartment and overall experience. You could stay in a villa in rest of the Europe for this price. However it suited our purpose as most of the time you want to spend outside and not inside.
- John (9/5): Great location if needing somewhere to stay for the night. - Great location - Tidy enough. Paint peeling off in Bathroom. Was a bit tired.
Bed was uncomfortable.
- Kevin (6/5): Did not meet expectations - Great location The whole unit is old, carpets are old and dirty, bathroom is musty, shower head is broken, and handle leaks scalding hot water, bathroom sink tap handle is broken). Kitchen is poorly equipped (only 2 mugs, one missing a handle, no proper kitchen knife).
Photos have been modified to make the place look newer than it actually is
- Yasser (9/5): Superb -
- Dhanesh (7/5): Good - Location was excellent, good sized kitchen Needed toaster, and somewhere to be able to dry clothes.
- Ina (10/5): Exceptional - I had a great stay with Roomy, the flat was clean, comfortable and met our expectations. Host was kind and responsive and answered all our questions. The flat is quiet and has everything you need. I recommend this place, will definitely come back.
- Adrian (9/5): Superb - Great location. Fantastic communication. Easy to check in and out. Comfy living room area. Cosy. Shower was good. Very clean.
