• Sonia (9/5): Good value, comfortable stay. - Nice open area/courtyard. Microwave and breakfast included. Some beds had privacy curtains. Love the dog! Shower was cold but was able to get it turned on after notifying. Room cold until more folks came.

• Prado (7/5): - Comida Falta de pontualidade, fiquei 1h20min na parte externa com chuva e frio esperando, sendo que cheguei 12:05h e o check-in era 12:00h. A limpeza foi feita com a gente dentro e claramente os quartos não foram limpos depois dos últimos peregrinos, louças usadas, lixos não limpos. Com certeza o pior albergue que fiquei até agora, e o mais caro, apesar disso.

• Deirdre (8/5): Good Albergue right on the Camino - Lovely welcoming host after a long walk on the Camino. She made us coffee and sandwiches on arrival which we greatly appreciated. We had the communal meal in the evening which was great value. The dorm room was old and dark but clean and comfortable with a socket and light at each bunk. Some had curtains ours didn’t but it didn’t matter to us. There are no other facilities in the immediate vicinity but the Albergue met all our needs. You need to be very careful crossing a very busy road from the Camino path. I did not like having to cross through the lounge/kitchen area to access toilet and showers but that’s just me! The large garden was once beautiful and I presume the owners will work to improve this.

• Margaret (7/5): - Very friendly staff. Great room with just one other Pilgrim. Delicious dinner. The bunk beds are very low, so banged my head many times. There was no plug or light on my bed, so couldn't charge up my phone or read till late.

• Steinberg (1/5): Far from optimal. - The idea of it was nice. The reality was not: I arrived (at 4PM) to a locked door and the place unclean and with breakfast still sitting out, beds from the previous night still unmade. To the owner’s credit, they made good and found me new lodging and arranged a taxi to bring me back the next morning to complete the walk as I intended—but it was far from pleasant and required energy I simply did not have. I’ll never understand why someone would do this, knowing a weary pilgrim is walking their way into lodging not ready or willing that day to respectfully provide for them. See above.

• SETI (7/5): - La personne que nous a reçu était très accueillante. Le problème principal des dortoirs,est le manque de privacité.Il faut un rideau de bonne qualité et de la lumière à l'intérieur.. Il faut imiter les hôtels capsule à la japonaise.

• Roberta (10/5): Good location for Camino - This was right on the Camino so easy to get to and leave from in morning. Nice common area to hang out in. Great food- she made me a sandwich lunch that was delicious.

• Michelle (9/5): Lovely relaxing albergue - I really enjoyed this Albergue. It provided a hot shower, comfy bed, good food in a relaxed environment. Even hammocks to relax in! The location meant that there were no local shops or anything much nearby.

• Juanita (8/5): Homelike Atmosphere - Location is on the right side on the highway just before Valverde de la Virgin. Homelike atmosphere. Eliana was our hostess who tended to our small group of 5 pilgrims after another cold, rainy day on the Camino. Lovely dinner in wonderful surroundings. Unable to use the outside features b/c of weather. Was able to take a few photos leaving the next morning.

• James (1/5): This albergue was locked and no one was on the premises to ler me in though I arrived 10 minutes after it was supposed t - I didn’t like anything about the property. I arrived at 12:10pm but gate was locked and albergue had no one there. I waited 30 minutes but no one responded to let me in. Hand-written sign on gate said, in English, opens at 12pm. I should not be charged anything for my reservation. Though exhausted, I had to walk maybe 10 more kilometers to the next town to find another albergue. Nobody was there to let me in. See above response.

• Kathleen (1/5): STAY CLEAR - Nothing, not value for money.... Room smelt musty and was so dated. I would have moved but was exhausted from day. I would have been better off if I stayed in hostel as other pilgrims have kindness to keep noise down and after 10pm is lights out. This place had other guests come in upstairs at 1045pm and shout and roar till about 1am and every noise they made on floorboards was so load and when they flushed toilet it was like it was in my room. Also the luggage transfer refused to collect my bag from here so I carried 31km following day. NOTHING
• Lisa (3/5): Awful - The person assisting was very friendly Everything-unkept dirty sticky mattress with disposable sheets that didn’t cover the whole mattress. Outside yard disheveled and chairs with ripped cushions. Inside couches sticky and dirty.

The host has a super friendly dog who greeted every new arrival! Was right near the highway, though this is also the Camino route so this is convenient if not a bit loud
