• Cindy (7/5): Decent accommodation with a good balcony in a pleasant neighbourhood - The balcony and view of the local square with children’s play area. Some good local restaurants, including one opposite. There is a supermarket a short block behind that. It is not too far to the nearest underground station. We felt safe there, day and night. Comfy bedding and bed. I think the bed settee was okay too. Spacious apartment. We visited in September when it was approx. 30c which meant we had the windows etc open at times and this meant mosquito’s attacked the prone one of us. (There is standing water out in the square.) The square is full of litter and drink bottles/cans etc but this is like many parts of the world now. There is a step up into the small shower room - I twice forgot it was there, falling down it! The owner insisted on the tourist tax being paid in cash and left in the flat. The fact that cash was required was not mentioned in any of the site information or communicated to me after booking. When I told him I had no Euro’s he still insisted on cash which marred our break whilst I had to bother myself with obtaining some. (I suspect the money went straight to pay his cleaner.) The Wi-Fi did not work the first day. It was quickly fixed by the owner the next day.
• Keith (9/5): Close to Vatican with view over small park - Flat was as described on booking.com. Overlooks a small semi-circular park and there is a supermarket 5 minutes away plus a bar and pizza restaurant across the park. Bed comfortable and flat in good condition. Flat is near Vatican and Metro station. Only one mug provided, rest were expresso sized. Bedroom s little quirky with a gap/window in wall through to the lounge.

• Louisa (9/5): Superb - Lovely apartment, great to have a balcony. Well equipped. Clean and a good amount of space. Owner was very pleasant and friendly It's a bit far out for the main tourist sights, although within walking distance of the Vatican. If you are prepared to use the Metro however, it's easy to reach other areas of Rome.
