- Tamsin (3/5): - The location was lovely. There was MOULD on the walls in multiple places, along with pet hair all over the outdoor seating and some inside the home (listed as not pet friendly). My son is allergic to dogs, so we weren't able to sit outside. We were under the impression that we were booking the entire home (at the time of booking and our stay, nowhere on the booking.com listing does it state that someone can rent the granny flat at the same time). We were sitting in the lounge room when someone walked through the back gate with a dog, waved at us and walked inside.. we were a bit shocked and didn't know what was happening. I contacted the management straight away to be told "yes, someone can book the granny flat at the same time". Maybe the person spending a lot of money on the main home should be made aware of this so they are not caught in a surprise.. The home has no privacy, so anyone walking past or in the granny flat can see in... I also made management aware of the mould and pet hair during my phone call and was only told that they will let the cleaner know. The bathroom was filthy, again with mould everywhere. There was dust everywhere to the point I personally ended up with severe hayfever on the first night and had to purchase telfast the next morning. The listing states "airconditioning" but there is only airconditioning in the main bed, small lounge, and downstairs bedroom... The downstairs airconditioning was not working at the time of our stay and even had to let someone in to look at repairing (management contacted us on the day of our stay before we checked in advising of this and asking if it was okay for someone to attend to assess, to which we agreed hoping they could fix it but they could not). The home requires a lot of repairs and TLC. The furniture is greatly stained.. I would not stay here again for the price.. We stayed for 5 nights and I honestly could not wait to come home.
- Matt (5/5): Not as expected, not great value for money - Layout was good, location was good. Not ducted aircon, barely any view of the ocean, poor lighting for the dining table, cockroaches, dead cane toad in entry, no bbq, small fridge
- Sarah (8/5): Very relaxing and enjoyable for everyone - Location, pool, living areas, bathrooms were both amazing, staff were super helpful when we contacted them. The outside dining was used all day. Loved to be able to bring our dog for a beach holiday AC in all the bedrooms would be much more comfortable in summer and blockout blinds/curtains in the main bedroom for the 445 sunrise and temp control in summer
