Guest Reviews
Zie hier boven.
- Mihaly (3/5): Poor - The location is rather practical, a few bus stops away from the main station.
The owners are responsive to messaging and the instructions for entering the studio are clear. I feel obliged to share my negative experience, seeing as it is corroborated by past reviews.
At an equivalent price of around 90€ per night, this place is (unfortunately) one of the more affordable budget stays in Geneva. However this should not be an excuse for its main problems, which I need I must share here.
This studio is actually part of a bigger two-story house with a surrounding garden. It comprises a room with a bed and a bathroom, separated from the rest of the house by a locked door. The studio is accessed by raising the electrical shutters leading to the garden terrace, thus one will upon entering step in (with dirty street shoes) directly next to the bed one will be sleeping in. The bed cover provided is rather thin and in the absence of adjustable heating means it gets chilly at night.
The rest of the ground floor apparently is also rented out, as I painfully found out when, on the first night of my stay, a group of young individuals came back from a night out in town at around 4 AM, partying on in the property. As there is zero sound isolation and the walls, as mentioned in a previous review, appear to be "paper thin", I was violently woken up in the middle of the night and had to bang on the intermediate door to get the obviously inebriated guests to quiet down.
Now, things like this can happen and wouldn't have merited a public negative review, however there is a more important hygienic problem here that tips the scales: Today, two days later, I am treating my feet for massive bed bug bites. I would post photos here but, even if the algorithm didn't censor them, I don't want to gross readers out. A previous review recounts a similar experience and according to a response by the owners the bed was supposedly disinfected... Well, obviously this didn't work and I sorely regret sleeping in that bed with no socks on!!
- Samra (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect. Bus that goes to city center and to airport is 3mins by foot. I like that it has fridge and Microwave. Great location for this value. The walls are thin, so at night I could hear people talking in the house. Everything else was perfect.
- Leena (5/5): Passable - This is not a studio it is a room
No facility for kitchen
There is no terrace. It is a patio in the backside if someone’s home
