Guest Reviews
- Debs And Darren (10/5): Little Gem!! - A real little gem !! Great location for exploring the Welsh coastline. Walked from Nefyn to Morfa Nefyn. Also drove to Aberdaron for a great circulation walk along the coast and then inland. Cosy pub environment with lovely staff.Rooms very comfortable and clean. Great communal kitchen which is well equipped. Nothing.
- Cheryl (6/5): Pub-Hotel local for Beaches - Location of Hotel is great, there is a beautiful beach near by with a cafe. Public toilets located up a steap hill from the beach. Hotel-Pub is lovely, easy to find and has lots of shops close by for supplies. Chip shop across from the hotel and more take aways close by. Another hotel a short walk away serves food every day of the week, which we found to be reasonable both in price and portion size. Sadly the Pub Hotel itself only serves food on certain days of the week. The stairs to the top floor with big bags or cases is difficult. The family room was basic but a decent size. With only a few places to hang your clothes. Only one bunkbed was made up with bedding to the other left thrown on the top of the bunk. The bath room requires a deep clean to remove mold buildup on the shower cubicle. Found the toilet brush container full of toilet water and debris. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, pillows flat. There were not enough towels or toilet rolls, milk tea, or coffee. But you can ask at the bar downstairs for extra,s. The light above the bed, although we switched it off, glows green all night, so the room was never dark. This may be because it was a family room. Description of room was deceiving, online booking described room as having a kitchenette. There is just a kettle in the room, 4 cups and a small container with a few items to make coffee and tea. No biscuits or a bottle of water provided.
The kitchenette is located downstairs. Where you will find a communal microwave, sink, dishes, etc, a fridge, table and chairs, washing machine, and dryer, both of which are in constant use.
The pub itself does not provide breakfast. We found the pub to be friendly, great staff and atmosphere. Weekends are busy. You will find a cafe just a short walk away for a decent breakfast and local shops for supplies. Parking can be found close by. If you are lucky, you can park across the road from the hotel.
