• Franziska (10/5): Es war einfach super entspannt, weil alles in laufnähe war, Strand, Pool, Restaurant. - Der wunderschöne Ausblick aus dem 2. Stock aufs Meer mit der Nähe zum Strand, man musste nur über die Straße laufen. Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit schnelles Wifi Dank Starlink, alle Räume hatten eine gut funktionierenden modernen Klimaanlagen. Es gab einen öffentlichen Pool mit Sonnenliegen, Schirmen und Poolbar, den Eintritt wurde in ein Verzehrgutschein umgewandelt. Wir haben super lecker im Restaurant „Café Alma Criola" gleich um der Ecke gegessen. Egal ob beim Frühstück, Mittag oder Abendessen könnten wir da vielen einheimischen Speisen und Getränken ausprobieren.

• Bela (1/5): - Têm uma vista bonita mas impossível tomar banho na praia Não gostei de ser enganada de dizer que tem piscina e não ter , ser num segundo andar. Esta inserido no meio do nada, têm mau ambiente a noite
• Indra (10/5): - Ein wunderschön gelegenes Appartment direkt am Strand mit allem Ausgestattet was man braucht. Auch die Küchenausstattung ist perfekt um sich gut selbst zu versorgen, genug Töpfe,Pfannen,Geschirr etc. Auch der Vermieter Frank ist sehr herzlich, immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit bei allem. Wir waren 5 Nächte dort und würden jederzeit wieder buchen. In der näheren Umgebung hat es mehrere Strandbars,Restaurants, kleine Minimarkets und einen etwas größeren Supermarkt/Gemischtwarenmarkt alles problemlos in wenigen Metern fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Café Alma Criola gehört der Frau von Frank und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren mehrere male dort, egal ob nur auf einen Kaffee der übrigens sensationell lecker ist oder auch auf einen Snack oder ein Hauptgericht es ist unbedingt empfehlenswert. Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft mit spektakulärem Ausblick. Nochmal ein herzliches Dankeschön an Frank für alles, wir hoffen das wir irgendwann wieder kommen können. Nichts

• Aurelia (10/5): Fijn verblijf aan een mooi strand en nabij een toplocatie om te ontbijten, lunchen of dineren! - Frank was altijd beschikbaar voor informatie en hielp ons vanaf het eerste moment al goed met vanalles, zoals laten zien waar we de eerste boodschappen konden doen, welke kitespots er zijn en info lokale wind-(watersport)-omstandigheden informatie etc. Je kunt hier ook goed tot rust komen, genieten van het heerlijke weer en de mooie stranden e.d. Daarnaast heeft zijn vrouw een fantastisch restaurant vlakbij, waar je zowel kunt ontbijten/lunchen als dineren, met fijne lokale muziek op de achtergrond en top personeel. Het motto van het land straalt de "no stress" ook echt uit, men is er relaxt en vriendelijk.
• Silke (10/5): - Der Ausblick vom Balkon war fantastisch. Es ist in der Wohnung alles vorhanden, sogar eine Waschmaschine.Frank war jederzeit ansprechbar, hat uns bestens informiert und bei der An-und Abreise geholfen. Leider waren wir zu kurz dort, aber wir kommen gerne wieder.

• Michele (9/5): - Ci è stata dato un appartamento diverso da quello dell'annuncio, perché c'erano lavori nel palazzo. Avendoli visti entrambi posso però dire che quello che ci è stato dato era migliore. Praia Cabral è meravigliosa, più bella di praia Estoril. Ci sono pochi servizi, ma sottocasa alla caffetteria ristorante ETC. si può comprare l'essenziale e poco più avanti c'è l'ottimo ristorante del padrone di casa e della sua simpaticissima moglie Alma Kriola. Comunque con meno di 10 minuti a piedi si arriva al centro. La casa è spaziosa e accogliente e molto ben accessoriata. La terrazza è sempre ventilata. Aria condizionata perfettamente funzionante nelle camere da letto. Frank e la sua famiglia ci hanno fatto sentire a casa, gentili, premurosi, sempre disponibili e prodighi di consigli e informazioni. L'aria condizionata in salotto/sala da pranzo non funzionava. La zona è flagellata dalle zanzare, mai viste tante in vita mia. È un problema di tutta Sal Rei, ma a Praia Cabral si cammina con la nuvola intorno. Purtroppo le finestre e le zanzariere a scorrimento non chiudono ermeticamente, per cui siamo stati molto impegnati in un'intensa attività di uccisione delle zanzare in casa. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è dei migliori. Una volta sul posto abbiamo trovato annunci per case dello stesso taglio nello stesso condominio a prezzi molto inferiori. Si paga però la tranquillità di una casa molto ben tenuta (cosa per nulla scontata a Capo Verde) e di un host molto attento e scrupoloso.
• Salpietro (7/5): - Abbiamo alloggiato 5 giorni nella struttura di Frank. Posizione ottima a circa dieci min dal centro,casa molto grande e comoda con due bagni e aria condizionata. C’è tutto il necessario per viverci soprattutto in un isola così selvaggia dove il necessario non è scontato. Frank,il proprietario è sempre stato molto disponibile per ogni esigenza ed è una persona molto socievole, avremmo voluto parlarci di più se solo avessi avuto dimestichezza con la lingua :) C’è stato qualche intoppo ma il proprietario è stato super gentile per qualsiasi richiesta e esigenza. Dunque si…lo consiglio per un breve soggiorno, c’è tutto il necessario per passare una breve vacanza

• carole (2/5): Un hébergement mal décrit, inconfortable et loin de justifier son prix. - Vue sur la mer Réactivité de l’hôte Note attribuée : 2/10 – Expérience très décevante Voici les raisons précises de cette évaluation : Accessibilité non conforme au descriptif : l’appartement est situé au 2ᵉ étage sans ascenseur, information trop peu visible sur l’annonce. Pour une personne en situation de handicap, devoir porter des valises de 23 kg dans un escalier représente une véritable difficulté. Le descriptif mentionne simplement : "VILA CABRAL, CASA 40, Apartment 8, 2. Etage", ce qui ne permet pas à tous de comprendre clairement la contrainte liée à l’étage. Piscine non attenante : contrairement à ce que laissent penser les photos sur Booking, il n’y a pas de piscine sur place. Il faut marcher environ 200 mètres pour y accéder. Cette information devrait être explicitement précisée. Nombreuses défaillances à l’arrivée : Télévision hors service Pas de grille-pain Pas de climatisation alors qu’elle est mentionnée dans les prestations incluses Fenêtre de la chambre bloquée Coffre-fort inutilisable Aucune fourniture pour le ménage de base (pas de pelle, serpillère…) Pas de sèche-cheveux Couteaux totalement inefficaces (ne coupent rien) L’hôte était absent sur place. Heureusement, il a été réactif à distance et a mandaté une tierce personne pour tenter de corriger une partie des problèmes. Rapport qualité-prix injustifiable : Presque 70 € la nuit pour ces prestations relève, selon moi, de l’abus. Le descriptif sur Booking ne correspond pas à la réalité de l’hébergement.

• Lucia (10/5): Magic place in the island - I don't know where to start to describe the amazing experience we had at Praia Cabral apartment. I had a feeling when I saw the pictures and read the decription that it would be a great stay, but it went beyond my expectations. The apartment it beautiful, very big, super comfortable. One detail that I always appreciate and I rarely find it when I travel is a comfortable mattress, and this apartment has great ones, that make your sleep in the magic island even better. The windows in the different corners and the very large glass door of the terrace ensure constant ventilation. There is everything you need in case you want to cook, and the space is simply very well organised. Of course, the terrace is the best part, I could have spent my entire holiday there, just looking at the ocean, the sun, the donkeys, the people chilling. But I didn't :-D just to make the best out of my time, explore the island and - best of the best - have a one day tour from North to East with Frank, who is not only the best host but also the best guide and driver. He knows so many incredible details of every corner of the island, and from different perspective, cultural, historic, natural, sportive (if you like surf, it's a must). I don't know how his brain has such an incredible memory. Alma Creola has been also a great place during our stay, from breakfast through lunch and dinners, and also apero with the best natural one from Cape Verde. All has been beyond my expectations and absolutely special.
• Nicky (6/5): Recommended if you want to stay in the quiet part of Sal Rei - The place is located in a quiet living area, a 10 min footwalk away to the city center or harbour for the whale watching. The view of the apartment balcony towards the ocean. It was an ok stay for the two nights we spend there. The owner was very present and communicative. The furniture of the apartment is outdated so we didn't feel like home but overall everything was available. The WIFI was not well, I had to work a few hours and it was almost impossible to attend a meeting. There were flyers of a whale watch service called Cabokaitours - which is not recommendable at all. The owner told us a previous guest left them there. Anyways we felt for their promo 50% retour if you don't see whales... which we didn't get - we saw no whales and when we asked for the money we received bad words etc. Don't support this operator as they are not professional, don't tell anything about the whales etc. I went once more with another operator called Boa Vista Tours which was incredible, not only did we see whales, they know the whales, tell you everything about them and keep their respectful distance.
• Yvonne (10/5): Exceptional - The location is wonderful: stunning view, pleasantly quiet and very spacious. You can have breakfast at the landlord‘s Café/Restaurant „Alma Criola“ nearby (maybe 1 Minute away;). The dishes offered there are outstanding and served creole style. The landlord offers sightseeingtours to explore the Island. He could tell a lot about the history and you‘ll visit places, you wouldn‘t have seen otherwise. Very lovely tour!
