- Sara (6/5): Ostello per gruppi di persone, non per singoli - Posizione super comoda se si fa la via degli Dei e si arriva da Sant’Agata. Interni carini e accoglienti, cucina fornita di ogni utensile. Personale gentile. Va un po’ ripensata la questione cibo. La cena non è compresa e l’offerta è solamente una salsa di pomodoro o un ragu e della pasta, nient’altro: non c’è manco un po’ di parmigiano o della cipolla o dell’aglio per condire il sugo. L’alternativa è andare al supermercato a San Piero a Sieve che dista almeno altri 30 min a piedi…. Ero da sola, e ho dovuto prendere un enorme barattolo di sugo e un pacco di 250gr di tagliatelle, che ovviamente ho avanzato e (per fortuna) potuto regalare agli altri ospiti affamati. Visto il prezzo della notte in dormitorio, potevano anche offrirli…. Altri ospiti hanno ordinato delle pizze con l’aiuto dell’host, ma a me non è stato manco proposto o suggerito. Anche la colazione è a pagamento (9€) ed è sufficiente, ma essendo da sola ho dovuto lasciare un intero litro di latte… per non sprecarlo, non l’ho aperto ma comunque l’ho pagato…. In totale per un sugo di pomodoro, la pasta, due birre, la colazione a 9€ e la tassa di soggiorno, oltre alla stanza, ho speso altri 28.50€ …. Un po’ troppi per un ostello e per essere stata in un dormitorio comune e per aver dovuto pure cucinare e lavare i piatti, dopo 37 km di cammino. Peccato, secondo me andrebbe ripensato un po’.

We arrived very early but they still gave us the room as soon as it was ready. The closest restaurant/supermarket is a little far.

Bella la location La colazione aveva un prezzo a persona eccessivo rispetto al valore vero... 9€ sono troppi... considerando che quando siamo arrivati noi a far colazione gli altri clienti avevano finito tutto il pane e non c'era pane in più per noi... Altra cosa che non ci è piaciuta molto è che volevamo riposarci un po' ma già alle 8:30/9:00 i proprietari stavano rifacendo le camere... ci siamo sentiti un po' in obbligo di andare via... Infine per il numero di ospiti che c'erano un bagno in comune era insufficiente

- Pierantonio (9/5): Comunque all'interno c'è tutto quanto il necessario per cucinarsi da solo. - La colazione è stata ottima, la signorina che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile e ci ha informato su tutto quanto era necessario sapere. L'unica nota un po' sfavorevole è la posizione dell'ostello che si trova a circa due km dal paese e quindi se si vuole cenare fuori bisogna farsi la sera a piedi ancora circa due km all'andata e due km al ritorno. Solo un pellegrino tosto si accolla questa ulteriore fatica dopo aver fatto circa 30/ 32 km durante la giornata.

- Lorenzo (10/5): Bella opzione sulla Via Degli Dei - Va bene per chi si trova sulla Via degli Dei. Camera matrimoniale grande. Letto matrimoniale grande e comodo. Il riscaldamento funzionava bene, e la struttura era pulita. Molto chiare le istruzioni per entrare. La posizione, ma è una cosa da prendere in considerazione quando si prenota. Alla fine è distante solo 20 minuti a piedi da San Piero a Sieve, si può fare tranquillamente.

- Michael (10/5): Highly recommended, if a hostel environment appeals to you. - We did not eat breakfast. This is a hostel with shared bathrooms, and the very reasonable price reflects this. The amazing part for us was returning after dinner to find several, very intelligent, affable travelers who sat around the common area and talked about politics and life for hours. An unforgettable experience. Plus the bed was very comfortable, and the shower excellent. The check in process was a little iffy

- Maddalena Caldarelli (2/5): - Arredamento Ho soggiornato in questa struttura durante il Cammino degli Dei, viaggiando a piedi con il mio cane, e purtroppo l’esperienza è stata deludente. La struttura si trova fuori dal paese, in una posizione scomoda per chi percorre il cammino a piedi. Non esiste alcun servizio navetta, né disponibilità ad aiutare chi arriva senza mezzi propri: un bel problema, considerando che il Cammino degli Dei è pensato proprio per essere fatto a piedi. Il problema principale, però, è stata la gestione del cane. Mi è stata chiesta una sovrattassa di 15 euro per il cane, cifra a mio avviso eccessiva, soprattutto perché non segnalata chiaramente al momento della prenotazione e del check in. Inoltre, mi è stata giustificata come tariffa settimanale, nonostante io abbia soggiornato una sola notte. Come se non bastasse, c’era un solo bagno in condivisione per almeno quattro camere matrimoniali. La cosa che mi ha più amareggiato, però, è l'assenza totale dello spirito di accoglienza e flessibilità che dovrebbe essere alla base del Cammino degli Dei. Invece di trovare un luogo ospitale, mi sono sentita trattata con freddezza, e con un’attenzione rivolta più al guadagno che al benessere del viandante. Sconsiglio questa struttura a chi affronta il Cammino, soprattutto se viaggia con il proprio cane
- Delfina (5/5): Passable - It is “ok” we were close enough to where we wanted to be, and didnt spend so much time in there other than sleep, so it served us well. However, I must say, the room we got looked absolutely nothing than any pf the pictures, neither the bathroom… If i would have seen in pictures what we were getting, I would have booked something else. There were spiders and webs in the kitchen drawers, two holes in two walls and all kind of mosquitoes and bugs would come in at night through them. The bathroom, which we booked a private one, was outside the room (which we only found out the day we arrived) this was so inconvenient and should have known, would have chosen somewhere else. All in all, staff is very nice and welcoming, and have nothing negative to say about their hospitality, bur i wouldn’t go back. Place looks old outdated and although is “cheap” you can get better for the aame price somewhere else.

All rooms have a shared bathroom, with one bathroom serving four rooms—two of which accommodate 2 people and the other two, 4 people. There was no surface to put my belongings in the room, except for a hanger, so I had to keep everything on the floor. I stayed for 3 days, and the room was never cleaned, nor were the towels changed. I also wouldn’t recommend purchasing breakfast at the property, as it was really poor.
- Marloes (7/5): Nice room and kitchen, bathroom bit crowded - We did a late self-checkin (which I like). Our room and the commonrooms were clean and comfy. We had a long day on the Via Degli Dei and were happy to have a kitchen to cook dinner instead of walking to San Piero. The owner was helpful and responsive via text. The room is cute and the bed is nice. The bathroom is a bit tired looking and not quite clean. It's a shared bathroom so staff obviously can't help how the last person left it. It is shared with more people than I expected so it was occupied a lot. The location is a 30 minute walk from San Piero, on the VDD.

- Laura (9/5): Superb - The private room is nice, perfect for one night in the via degli dei. It’s nice that they have the honest market, so you don’t have to go buy sth by yourself. The breakfast was awesome!! It’s definitely worth it! They had just one very thin blanket, so it was a little bit cold in the night (in october). Also a bigger towel would have been nice.

- Tara (6/5): Nice stop in a quiet location - The lodge is located right on the Via Degli Dei, about a half-hour's walk from San Piero a Sieve. It's newly renovated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Sara was very helpful ordering food and she arranged gluten free breakfast too. There was no rush to check out. It's a nice concept and maybe good for a group but I wouldn't recommend for solo travellers - just a bit too isolated with nothing to do and nobody there (hosts not on site but Sara is nearby). Some outside seating would be lovely and perhaps a washing machine!
