- Hadiqie (8/5): Good and relaxing - The apartment was clean and central and we really happy with it having two separate bathrooms. The tv didn't work at all and the quilts didn't have quilt covers and they were dirty with lots of stains. There wasn't any tissue provided either.

Communication with our host to get access details was also prompt. Access was super easy too, retrieving the key from a lockbox in the shop downstairs. It exceeded my expectations and the view was just such a lovely and unexpected surprise Everything about our stay was wonderful.

- Tony (4/5): Comfortable place but not an easy process to get the key code. - The information required to be provided was over the top; I was very anxious about providing photos of my drivers licence and credit card - this was needed for us to get the lockbox key code. Also, didn't get the code until mid-afternoon, was still not sure if the whole thing was a scam until we arrived at the property. I had my rather frail 88-year old father with me, we'd travelled so that he could see his gravely ill brother (my uncle), so the situation was stressful anyway without concerns about the accommodation. No teaspoons, no kitchen sink plug (these were provided the next day once we sent a message) and we could not get any TV channels the whole time we were there. There is an oven, but no baking trays are supplied. Also, the door to the balcony rattled extremely loudly in windy conditions! I would not book this accommodation again.

This was a terrible booking! Please look at my screenshots. I booked this hotel in Melbourne from the 16th to18th. After fully payment, the hotel vanished. When I tried to contact them after landing, they responded mechanically like a ghost.
Normally, hotels prepare keys in advance for late-arriving guests and notify them accordingly. However, when I arrived in Melbourne and tried to contact them, their phone was disconnected. When I took a taxi to the hotel address, I discovered it was actually a residential building with no front desk or any signage. The phone number listed on Booking.com was completely disconnected, as if it was fake. I’ve never encountered such a situation. I could only leave messages via the app, and all I got were automated, mechanical replies. Please refer to my screenshots.
As a hotel, they showed no concern for their customers and provided no keys or necessary check-in instructions for late arrivals. I was left out in the cold overnight. The next day, when I applied for a refund, I could only communicate through slow, unresponsive app messages. No any real people can talk or came forward to resolve the issue. You can see from their responses how arrogant and unreasonable their attitude was.
As a business, they lacked even basic courtesy. I have reason to believe that they simply posted fake property information, scammed customers for payments, and used robotic, fake replies.
Until now, the hotel has neither refunded me nor offered a basic apology. I have already filed a complaint with Booking.com, and the matter is still pending.
I lost money, my plans were disrupted, and I was deceived. I’m sharing my painful experience here, hoping that others won’t fall for the same scam!

- Stevie (1/5): Do yourself a favour & keep looking for another property - Nothing Warning: Do not book this property! They are dodgy and have taken a $300 cleaning/ damage deposit & not returned it. They ask for all your personal details including drivers licence, and photo of credit card front & back, take your money, then not return it. They have ghosted all calls and messages. As well as not responded when Booking.com requested action as they had not met the term of the policy.

Sofa was absolutely disgusting. Replace many items.
Only two dishwasher tablets for a paid stay of 9 days. The kitchen done was gross. Went out and bought new ones.

Reception don’t answer calls when asked about bond repayment they say it can take up to 7 to 14 business days pending cleaning for refund and calling them they don’t answer yet they were somehow rushing me to check out saying the earlier I check out the earlier the cleaner comes. How does it take 14 business days to clean up?

The worst experience I had was with the owner, who was so particular about taking the security deposit of AUD 300 and would not let me in unless I pay the amount. However while refunding they took 20 days after multiple follow ups the refund was made. Very unprofessional.

- Sharifa (1/5): Bad - It was really very bad experience, when I reached there first night the bed was broken, I informed the host she didn’t care n after that I went to another hotel because the bed was broken and the other day when I came back I realised the door of the balcony was broken and I have a Autistic kid and I informed the host she didn’t do anything and my son went in the balcony while I was in the bathroom and he injured himself until I came out after that I moved straight away from the apartment, my son nearly harm himself because I was staying on the 24 level and it was very dangerous with the broken door locked now I’m going to sue the host Balcony door broken not safe, broken bed, no tv remote very dirty and host will never reply

You only get 1 key and it makes it very difficult when 4 people staying.

Payment of bond and parking was difficult as i was asked to email a photo of both sides of my credit card, which for security purposes I was not comfortable with.
The ensuite shower was not usable as the showerhead was broken. I notified the contact number provided of this and sent a photo as requested however there was no further action to resolve the issue.

- Kin (1/5): Bad - On the first day of our check-in on 26 Dec 2023, property (a) admitted that it made a mistake in giving us a one-bedroom property instead of the two-bedroom property that we paid for, and (b) promised a refund of A$800 but after 17 days my refund is not forthcoming. Also, there has been no cleaning at al during our 10 night stay, and we demand our clean fee be paid back to us. Intercom didn't work for the first few days.

I’ve also forgotten my rings at the property and the host was very helpful in letting me know that they were found and i can go back to pick it up soon we couldn’t get our lock opened with the initial passcode and we had to wait outside in the cold for a bit to try and get another room sorted even though the room was reserved days in advance. therefore it could be great to have an easier check in :)
However, it should be noted that my host was very responsive and got me another room within a few minutes!

- Iloveangels (8/5): was good - the room was very modern, quiet and had a very respectful environment, enjoyed the view and located in a location that was very easy to discover more areas. the location is very small to get into and is very hard to find, this is also the same as seeing the keys. hidden away in a location that makes it very hard for new comers to look for.

still asking for payment hours before check in. Bathroom drain was blocked and was unable to shower. Property management did nothing about it and we had to sort out the blockage ourselves. When checking out, incorrect code was given for the lock
to return the key.

I was travelling with my young son and we had to go down a scary seedy ally in the dark not really knowing what we were going to encounter was awful. both of us were in tears. We booked this last minute and we then had to pay a bond but they would not accept cash or over the phone. I had to send them a photo of my card, which I was really unhappy about but they would not let me in, if not. It was terrible. I asked for a later check out and check out information and no-one contacted me. The actual apartment was nice but that was it. Never again and not happy at all with what I was charged and feel a partial refund would be in order regarding this stay. I told the lady on the phone how upset and stressed I was and there was no sympathy and it ruined my two days stay. The whole experience

- Claudia (4/5): disappointing communication and facilities. - the place was very clean and comfortable to stay in the staff were robots, you could not talk to them unless it was through messaging which was very disappointing. this is like an air bnb so do not book if you are looking to stay the night on the day of. it took two hours to check in so we only got to our place at 10pm and could only sleep, not relax, in the room. the tv did not work so we couldn’t watch Netflix - the internet they provided was wrong. we were looking to watch tv and relax but definitely don’t book for that reason. super expensive, we tried to go to the pool because we read that they had one and the key did not work for the pool so beware. the deposit took ages to come back, be very careful before making the choice to book here.

I asked for some fresh towels and no one even bothered to provide us some cause we had to stay for a longer period of time and apparently 4 nights was not enough

Everytime I emailed them the only email I receive is " we have forwarded to financial department and they will send it " however I havent received my money back. The apartment was at good place however the work we have to do during check out was not good. We paid money for daily basis and stay however there was no sugar , no rubbish bin... and so on. Even they said we have to do huge thing like throwing bin, cleaning and so on . We just went to sleep however we had our dinner lunch breakfast everything outside the apartment. At the end , we have send the picture of each rooms as well. I am happy to post before ans after of the stay.
It is really sad that how people try to take benefits for just making and Air Bnb and not providing enough facilities as much we pay for.
- Ahmad (5/5): Great location in Boxhill, poor communication/customer service - Location in Box Hill, lots of great Asian restaurants nearby. Atrocious communication and customer service. Buyer beware, this is a private property i.e. Airbnb. Your keys is collected from an alleyway, and be ready for a delayed check-in past 3pm. As their “key collection location” sms/message will be sent to you late. There is an extra ID check and $300 security bond paid on top of the Booking.com fees. Their terms is that the bond will be returned within 72hours, but be expected to wait longer, mine was returned a week later after much back and forth messaging for updates for the refund.
