Guest Reviews
- Melanie (5/5): Nice, but not great. - I liked that it was a Farm Stay and that I was away from the centre of town. The cabin was in fact, tiny, and I didn't feel completely welcomed. The place was very small and the place could have used a few more cooking amenities, such as one pair of tongs, a pan, etc. The airconditioner took a while to work (day 2), which was frustrating given that the cabin get extremely hot during the day. It is noisey when it rains. We particularly experienced very windy weather, and the noises that it caused around the cabin were so loud, such as the roof reverberating. I wouldn't recommend this place for a stay, neither for long or short stays.
- Skye (3/5): -
- Helen (8/5): Countryside getaway. - Out of town.
Quiet surrounds.
Personal service.
Night sky Small decking would feel safer with railing.
- Brian (10/5): -
- Joanne (7/5): Good -
- Maoudis (8/5): Very good -
- Maree (9/5): overall we had a lovely experience. very relaxing time - the fresh eggs and orange juice for breakfast was lovely. fire pit was very nice to sit outside . no notification that there was no tv.
- Liane (4/5): Disappointing - The host did keep the place clean. Eggs and milk in the fridge were appreciated. The location was terrible. The Tiny Home is placed between 2 machinery sheds in the corner of the yard. No garden as described and overgrown grass (not lawn) Power tripping off on both nights with air conditioning and kettle on only. Not enough bedding, only one thin doona, no blankets and the overnight temp got down to -3 degrees. Air con barely coped, it froze up several times through the night. The floor was freezing, there was only a tiny doormat, a proper rug would've been more appealing and comfortable. The interior was extremely minimalist, not welcoming at all. The tiny slat table and 2 chairs offered no comfort at all. No TV! This is a basic requirement when you have a holiday rental that is in a tv serviced area. We had no running water on the second morning as the hose that ran across the yard from the main house froze over! There should be a tap next to the tiny house to reduce this from happening. Yapping dogs! Host tried to keep them from annoying us but it still did!
For what was offered it was way overpriced. A cabin at the caravan park would have been a better option and our own caravan is way more comfortable. I honestly cannot recommend this place to anyone.
- Cheryl (2/5): Nightmarish - The place is out in the middle of nowhere at the back of the ladies property. The tiny house had like bamboo fencing in the picture that was all nice and everything that it all fallen down it smell like the toilet had been emptied under the tiny house you couldn’t use the shower because there was still stoppers somehow in it so that the door couldn’t be open which I’m assuming had been there since it was moved into position.
The owner of the property had two dogs that bought all night they were not working dogs they were little dogs and in the morning at 6:30 when she let them out of the house they ran down to the tiny house and barking around that she then went back inside and left them out I was yelling at them to be quiet as I had had a really rough night and the night before but she didn’t do anything about it and she left them down there barking their heads off after about half an hour she ran them inside but there was an actual gate to her property that she could’ve closed that would’ve stopped them running out again but she didn’t even do that.
I did have with me a pregnant dog that that night gave birth and we paid all retribution for that it was something that was not planned but the owner just was so uncaring and it was like she didn’t want to go out of her way to do anything. As I say the property Around the tiny houses nothing like in the photos and the smell under the tiny house was not good. Despite desperately needing a shower I couldn’t even manage to have a shower because we couldn’t open the door. I think it’s a great concept but I don’t think that the environment the tiny house was in was the correct one for it to be successful
- Asser (10/5): Exceptional - Our host Diane was very welco
welcoming and approachable whilst also giving us the opportunity to settle in and enjoy our holiday. There was nothing that we didn't like. Our experience with Diane was excellent from start to finish.
- Mandy (10/5): Diane is a wonderful host with a beautiful property. Highly recommend -
