Guest Reviews
- Claire (8/5): Great two bedroom apartment in central Calgary. Near to everything and very well equipped - A very modern apartment near to downtown Calgary with everything we needed for a two night stay. Bedrooms were small but well designed and the open plan lounger diner was lovely. Little balcony was nice but we didn’t use.as very cold. Good coffee making facilities and washing machine. Overall it was really nice but the bedrooms could be small if there for any length of time.
- Joy (8/5): Decent apartment near the river with secure garaging - Included undercover secure parking, 2 separate bedrooms, washing machine & dryer, decent kitchen with many useful inclusions, good wifi, corner apartment, helpful friendly host who responded quickly Some small details, not enough forks, no hand nor tea towels (but plenty of paper towels), there weren’t enough places to hang bath towels (& a hanger was missing), the lounge wasn’t clean & neither was the pillowcase for the sofa bed (we had to put a load of washing on before we could use it) nor the bathmat, only two stools to sit to eat, roller blinds didn’t work properly, no access to the roof in winter, no easy local grocery store
- David (9/5): - Great location, new building, liked the neighborhood Please put tables in the apt no where to place anything, side table in the room, small coffee table in living room and or patio would have made the place top notch.
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Chen (9/5): - 地理位置好,可步行至市中心,整个社区周边也有很多值得尝试的餐厅,很适合旅途中转停留休整。
- Nathalie (10/5): Easy comfortable stay in Calgary - Detailed instructions for check in, easy to find, parking very convenient, very clean and well equipped
We had no complaints, thank you
We walked a bit and drove (Calgary is more of a car city), but there were amenities a short walk away, we enjoyed Sidewalk Citizen for coffee/breakfast/lunch There was a coffee machine and coffee beans but the two didn't work together as it seemed the machine only took pods- maybe a small thing to rectify for future guests
The extractor fan is very noisy in the bathroom and we could not see where to turn it off
- Millie (8/5): - Clean, tidy, looked exactly as advertised, modern facilities, and helpful amenities (hair dryer, iron, washer/dryer, etc). Access to parking was really useful but had shops, cafes etc in walking distance. Location was not the best. It was a good 20/25-minute walk to Downtown and Stephen Avenue Walk, though Ubers are readily available. Having only one door fob may also be an issue if travelling in a group and wanting to go out separately.

- Irgens.jan (10/5): Lækker stor luksus lejlighed - Dejligt mørkt soveværelse De canadisk armaturer til bruserne. De er alle steder. Jeg savner termostat brusearmatur
- på Amazon hedder de Thermostatic Shower Mixer
- Georgia (10/5): I had fun with my friends and was grateful to have a good place to stay at - Very cozy cute and clean apartment
- Cortez (7/5): Good - The location was a walking distance to downtown. It was accessible to other tourist locations. It was also easy to take public transit. The apartment was clean, had an ample amount of light, and the big windows and balcony allowed lots of natural light to come in. When we arrived, the apartment thermostat was set really high, which caused the apartment to seem like a sauna. We were able to lower the temperature by just opening the window as we found out that the AC wasn't working. The window blinds were hard to open.
- Gutsche (9/5): Superb - Great little place - loved the roof top fire pits for end of night conversations. I wish that some.kind of cable was included - we were on some kind of shared Amazon Prime account but otherwise not a big deal - we didn't rent the place to watch TV.
- Alfred (8/5): Good in general - Good in general Kitchen stuff can be cleaner
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - Nice new appartment in a reasonable location, walking distance from downtown. There wasn’t sufficient seating for 4 people and had to make a few trips up and down to the room to collect then return the parking pass.
- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teang (1/5): Would not stay again due to host not delivering on a listed amenity and also lack of communication. - It was clean - but you walked into a stench of deep fry oil that lingered.
Location was good in terms of proximity to downtown and river however not at all walkable to these destinations due to a large encampment at the junction leading to the downtown/chinatown area.
Best thing was that it was across from Luke's Drugs - a locally owned Calgary pharmacy, ice cream parlor, neighborhood corner store that is a worthwhile experience. The utter lack of communication from host during check-in caused unnecessary stress amongst our group. We couldn't access the garage structure (missing a entry strip as some residents told us later). I tried calling (number sent in message), texting and messaging through the app to no avail. I did get a butt call back from the host (background noise sounded like (s)he was at a busy festive venue) but again it was not an actual call....proving that (s)he had his/her phone on him/her at the time but decided not to respond back.
As parking space is a listed amenity and one of the reasons we decided on the property - host should have ensured that this is provided, but (s)he did not. Host only responded 5 hours (I was already asleep) later stating that it is the property management fault and that (s)he can only send me a link to the parking app if I have a Canadian number - which I don't. I communicated with the host that the lack of communication is disappointing and (s)he only deflected this responsibility saying it was an exception --- despite the fact that they butt called me so clearly they had their phone on themselves during the time I was trying to reach them.
Communication is key to trusting where you stay --- this was a complete fail on host.
- Tushar (8/5): Very good - The apartment was conveniently situated, just a short stroll away from the heart of downtown. The beds were comfortable, and the balcony was a delightful addition. I would like to suggest that the cleaning staff pay more attention to detail when cleaning the bed comforters, as some of them had stains. Additionally, the window blinds are in need of repair. Lastly, the cutlery was greasy when we arrived. Despite these issues, we had a wonderful stay overall.
- Carlene (6/5): NOT clean. - The apartment building itself is absolutely wonderful. It is very secure, requiring swipe access at all access points. The heated underground parking was so appreciated in the winter Calgary weather. As we were leaving, building staff were thoroughly cleaning common areas. The location was perfect for us. We were in town for a swim meet at MNP rec centre and the apartment was only about 6-10 minutes from the pool, depending on downtown traffic. And with the apartment being just on the north side of downtown, it was away from the rifraf of downtown urban dwellers. We felt safe and protected in the area.
The owner was quick to respond when I could not access the key to the apartment building, but it still took over an hour to get into the unit. There should be a better contingency plan in place. This unit was NOT CLEAN. There was hair and body fluid in one of the beds. We had to wash the sheets before we could use the bed. The dishes were not clean, we had to wash all the dishes before we could use them. The unit itself was dirty. The baseboards were caked with dirt and dust. There was pee stains on the wall behind the toilet. Pretty sure that area has not been cleaned in a very long time. There was also an unknown substance on one of the bedroom walls that I can only describe as “gunk” and it left a stain on the wall. When I let the owner know about how dirty the unit was, he responded with “that’s unacceptable” but did nothing to rectify the issue. The blinds in one of the bedrooms did not work at all and one of the living room blinds was almost impossible to open so we just didn’t bother. All in all, the unit was just poorly cleaned and maintained. I would happily stay in the building again, but not in this unit.

- Gerry (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Druanne (9/5): Good location and comfy beds - The location was great, I could walk to downtown from here. Good supplies in unit such as shampoo, soap, spices etc. The beds were comfy and they had nice thick bath towels. Instructions for the keys, fob and accessing underground could be improved. Once we figured it out it was fine. On leaving, one must drive completely out of underground, return the Fob to unit otherwise you get trapped in building because you don't have fob to operate the elevator.
