Guest Reviews
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional - Marcello was a great host - he was very accommodating with early check-in, clear arrival instructions and met us to ensure we were settled, along with providing recommendations. The apartment itself matched the description online and photos (was actually slightly larger than we anticipated from the photos) and the grounds were beautiful. Conveniently located and constantly transit options within one block. I'll also note we were worried about the shower smell mentioned in some of the reviews, and there is nothing to worry about (there is a slight smell when running the shower, but localized only to the bathroom, and really is minor and I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't read it in the reviews). Nothing - it was perfect.
- Emily (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in an incredible city! - The location was perfect- quiet but also very close to all the multiple historical sites. Was in a secluded set of apartments which had their own beautifully kept gardens. There were two sets of keys, bathroom accessories (shampoo, conditioner etc), well fitted out kitchen with washing machine/dryer. The host was exceedingly accommodating and allowed us to stay well over the stated departure time on our last day (due to evening flights) as the flat was free for that day, but at no additional cost. It really was a fabulous place and I would highly recommend it No complaints at all
- Vatra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yigal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nikolaj (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent stay, we will definitely come back
- Andrew (10/5): Perfect for our family! Perfetto per la nostra famiglia! - The location was great. Walking distance to sites and right across the bridge from Trastevere. The private garden was great for the kids and the host provided and very nice crib and highchair. Warm, comfy, had everything we needed.
- Maria (10/5): cozy apartment - Very beautiful, cozy, comfortable apartments! There is everything you need. The location is great. Very good host Marcello, always in touch Nothing
- Olena (10/5): Amazing property- highly reccomended! - It was amazing experience.
Although our flight was delayed due to the thunderstorm and we arrived after 2pm, the host was waiting for us. He met us with keys, explained everything and we are very grateful for such a welcoming arrival.
Fantastic location, exceptionally clean, modern and stylish flat. There are live turtoises in the garden and children were fascinated by them!
The beds are great, bathrooms clean and air conditioning just as needed.
The kitchen was amazing and coffee machine - super!
Highly reccomended and our choise number one next time we are in Rome!
- Roi (8/5): Enjoyable Stay, With Flaws - - Apartment is spacious and very well equipped to a high standard (has anything necessary aside from a dishwasher).
- A lot of thought has been placed on the design and styling, making most spaces feel very chic.
- Three air conditioners spread across the house, making Rome's temperature bearable (unfortunately, though, no air conditioning in the kitchen room, so any family time there for shared dining might be a challenge)
- Marcello the host is lovely and helpful - The upper bathroom has a bad stench when going into the shower, probably due to mold (there's only a tiny window for air ventilation, barely helps). I believe proper cleaning with bleach on the shower walls is a must.
- There's a constant sound of running water in the tubes on the lower floor (very audible, close to the bedroom, might affect your sleep).
- The garden is part of the shared property of the building. It's stunning, but as it's public with many apartments overlooking it, you won't be able to use it without affecting the neighbors.
- Location is 15-20 minutes from several highlights of the city, but the neighborhood itself has nothing to offer (there's a nice bar in the building but that's mostly it). Location might be ideal for some, but if you like getting out of the house and immediately feel some city vibe (or have a supermarket / pastry shop / anything close by) this is not the place.
- We had a problematic experience with both the showers' hot water moving from hot to freezing (for a minute) to hot again several times during the shower. To Marcello's defense he offered to come check the boiler so maybe that's a temporary issue.
- Lower bedroom air conditioner becomes very noisy after an hour or so. This happened consistently, be prepared with ear plugs if you sleep with air conditioner on.
- If you'd turn on a few high wattage appliances at once (like air conditioner and washing machine), be prepared for power outages. I suspect there's no three-phase electric power in the apartment.
- Do note the stairs in the apartment in case you have a toddler, we were constantly keeping an eye on our 2 year old.
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect but too short! - The most amazing apartment, it was fantastic. Marcello was the best host and was so accommodating. The property is exceptional! Space, light, comfort, facilities, decoration… I would highly recommend and cannot wait to return. Everything!
- Guy (10/5): Superb! Amazing city, amazing place and with a kind & attentive host. - This is a fabulous property in a fabulous location and with a fabulous host, in Marcello. Marcello was super responsive to our messages before arrival and was there to meet and greet us, as arranged. Check in time was brought forward and on check out, Marcello very kindly arranged for the safe storage of our luggage until we flew later that day. Marcello went as far as booking us a taxi to the airport. Thank you, Marcello!
The decor of property is very chic. It is well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The large private (to residents) garden is extraordinary - the perfect place to enjoy a drink, with the terrapins for company!
The location is away from the hustle & bustle of tourists, yet less than 5 minutes from Piazza di Campidoglio and its incredible views over the Forum and Colosseum site.
We walked from everywhere from the property - up to Piazza di Popolo and over to the Vatican. The only very minor negative would be that there are not any grocery shops or pasticerria in the immediate vicinity. Panettaria Romana, in Trastevere however, was superb and only a enjoyable 10 minute walk across the Tiber.
- Abhishek (10/5): Exceptional - Awesome location..everything is so close. The host is so caring...it helped us a lot as we have two kids
- Ona (9/5): Superb - The apartment is very new, clean, stylish, in a romantic central location. Very suitable for two couples as the bedrooms are on different floors with separate bathrooms. It is quiet because the windows of the bedrooms face the courtyard. Great kitchen with cookies, spices, coffee, tea, water, oil and even milk :) A shower curtain would be nice, we also couldn't take a bath in the ground floor as the drain plug wouldn't close properly.
