• Nhut-Tuan (2/5): - My experience in the room was not great at all. We stayed two nights there, July 24 and 25, 2025. - first night: I found 1 big cockroach under the bed and had to "fight" with it to catch it with the vacuum cleaner. Sent the photo and video to the host. The kids and parents where so scared, what else could we find under the bed sheets, in the toilet, shower...Ruined the whole experience. The host responded by saying to close all sink and drain cover, and will send someone to check. But we heard no news after that, quite disappointing. - The air conditioner was not working properly, either too cold nor wont restart to have decent temperature in the room. We had to send some pictures of the circuit breakers. Then the host gave us the remote controls but they do not work. - No hot water, until the host told us to push some buttons in front of the toilet. A sign, instructions on the door or advance notice before check-in would be appreciated. - Shower: were leaking to floor in the toilet, making it dangerous for falls. Had to use towels to block water. - The towells have some smell that my kids and wife dislike completely. Not sure if it is the lavenda smells or simply bad smell after washing/drying. - The host was responsive by responding to WhatApps message, but still experience in the room was bad. - The host has to seriously clean up and fix all those those issues. - Outside of room and elevators were ok. - View from 13th floor was nice. Could be nice place...
• Brian (2/5): - Where to begin. Booked a 2bed room. Sunday to Friday. Arrived at a condo building with lack security. Took 30m for someone to contact us even tho we used their driver for airport pickup. Eventually a young man ,living in building I think, showed up and said our 2 bedroom wasnt avail today . A/C needed fixing next morn. He could figure out the door code for 15 minutes. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apt but couldn’t use the third bedroom. Since we paid for a 2 bedroom. Next day he said he would help us move out and in to the 2 bedroom apt. Between 12-1pm. At 1245 after a reminder to management he shows up and said it’s still not ready. And we needed to wait in lobby. The cleaning lady shows up at 1pm now and cleans ! And we’re all in the 3 bedroom back and forth. I wasn’t leaving until either I got money back for remaining 4 nights . We didn’t feel safe here. No room safe. Poor security in front with huge sign that said no renting out apts for short term. Expedia had good reviews. But trip advisor has 5 very bad ones. Scam shady. Poor communication. After being threatened by Simon the owner at this point we had to vacate. He said security would call the police if we didn’t leave. I ended up speaking to management and shredded them. Told Them I want Expedia to credit back remaining $. We went across street to paragon hotel for remaining 4 nights. In a 1 room / 2 queen beds. Do not stay here. Please avoid this chaos.

Fake reviews - The second star is because the building has potential but at this point I would strongly recommend against booking it We booked several rooms and when we arrived we were told that one of the three bedroom apartments was unavailable and we would have to stay in a two bedroom apartment and pay extra for an extra matress on the floor of the lounge room Since it was Christmas Eve and we had a large party we had no choice but to make the best of it. Two days later we moved into a second apartment that had clearly been vacated only moments before. They double booked the apartment and tried to make us pay extra for a smaller property. Neither apartment was particularly clean. The apartment my brother and his family stayed in had the number of rooms they booked but there was ongoing work in neighbouring apartments that started early and went late. After hours of argument they offered a tiny refund but they still haven't paid it. I looked more closely at their reviews and it seems to me that most of them are faked. It's certainly not a rustic retreat in the heart of the countryside.

• Verified traveler (2/5): **Warning: Avoid This Booking!** - I cannot rate this apartment because I never got to see it. Upon our arrival at Madison, an “agent” informed us in the lobby that an “unexpected renovation” had occurred, and we could not stay there. Just ten hours earlier, they had sent me a welcome message and check-in instructions. This felt very suspicious. I insisted on viewing the apartment, but my request was denied. Instead, they offered to move us to another location, the MarQ, located 1.5 km from the center, “for two nights.” After traveling for over 24 hours, we had no option but to agree, as we were exhausted. While the MarQ building looked appealing, we were unhappy with the apartment layout, which was managed by RIXX instead of Angia Hospitality, as we had booked at Madison. They took us through a service elevator to access the apartment, which raised my concerns. As we explored the area, we discovered large banners stating that short-term rentals were illegal in the building. I was furious and demanded either immediate relocation to Madison or a full refund, as I would not jeopardize my family’s safety by staying in an illegal rental. Another “agent” met me face-to-face (to avoid documenting the situation), claiming they would refund us. I agreed to this and we checked out just after one night. When I then contacted Hotels.com, the owner refused to issue a refund, and we lost our entire payment. This situation ruined our vacation in Vietnam. This is truly a scam that others should avoid!
