• Guest (8/5): - The villa is beautiful - very tastefully decorated with a lovely outdoor space. It is in a great location, being in a quiet neighbourhood but easy access into central Florence, the Chianti Classico region, and a great supermarket just down the road. David and Bea were really helpful and welcoming hosts. Some of the outdoor facilities need a refresh and an upgrade. The pool is lovely but starting to get worn, and the outdoor terrace flooring, hammock and day bed need some attention. There was also a problem with mosquitoes which affected our enjoyment of being outside. There was a good supply of repellent and candles which helped somewhat but I don’t think it is helped by heavy overnight watering of the lawns.

Check-in was a breeze, and the location couldn’t have been better—close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. The house itself was perfect in every way—spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated with all the amenities we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. There was a large supermarket which was a 5 min walk away down a charming street. We would definitely stay here again and recomend to all of our family and friends heading to Tuscany.

We particularly loved the garden and pool which is where we spent most of our time. The location is great for exploring Florence but also being away from the hustle and bustle. We loved the host’s recommendations for restaurants particularly near Porta Roma where is much easier to park and then walk into central Florence. Communication was easy and the hosts couldn’t have done more for us.

However, the best aspect is its location. The house is only a 15-minute drive from the city center, offering the benefits of both a private residence and convenient city access.
