La posizione è perfetta perchè vicino a una tienda e a playa libre, e con le biciclette fornite ci si muove comodamente in tutta l'isola. Ottima anche la cucina del ristorante, piatti sempre freschi. potrebbero migliorare sistemando le biciclette che sono tutte rotte

• Lucía (9/5): Buen lugar para desconectar - Juan Pablo fue un 10 con nosotras y nos sentimos prácticamente en casa! Está muy bien ubicado al lado de playa libre y tiene todo lo necesario en una isla. Las habitaciones al estilo cabañas independientes fueron para mi uno de los puntos a destacar dentro de todos los alojamientos en los que estuvimos en Colombia, haciendo la experiencia aún mas especial. Disponen de bicis y ofrecen muchas actividades Mejoraría el servicio de desayuno, aunque a pesar de ser básico estaba bien!
• Jorg (6/5): Es war in Ordnung. Für einen Preis von etwa 100 € pro Nacht hätte ich insgesamt etwas mehr erwartet. - Ich habe eine Woche im April in diesem Hotel verbracht. Die Abholung am Dock und die Hilfe mit dem Gepäck waren ein sehr angenehmer Service. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls ein großer Pluspunkt – zwei sehr schöne Strände sind in etwa 5–7 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Zimmer selbst ist schön gestaltet und sauber. Insgesamt hatte ich einen guten Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach und qualitativ eher durchschnittlich; die Portionsgrößen haben täglich geschwankt. Der Kaffee ist nicht zu empfehlen. Ich war in Bungalow 1 (neben Bar/Restaurant), wo es den ganzen Tag über laut ist – Ohrstöpsel sind daher sinnvoll. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, was bei den warmen Temperaturen im April unangenehm sein kann, nur ein Ventilator ist vorhanden. Außerdem sollte man den Türspalt abdichten, um Insekten fernzuhalten. Es kam regelmäßig zu Stromausfällen am Tag und in der Nacht, was auch das Internet (Starlink) beeinträchtigt. Es wird kein Trinkwasser bereitgestellt, und der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist sehr gering. In den ersten Tagen funktionierte die Toilette nicht richtig, stattdessen wurde ein Eimer zum Spülen bereitgestellt. Wasser kann an der Bar gekauft werden, größere Flaschen gibt es im Laden um die Ecke. Im Zimmer sind keine Gläser vorhanden. Das Personal ist sehr jung, und das Hotel wirkt eher auf lokale Gäste ausgerichtet. Bei Kartenzahlung wird ein Aufpreis von 5 % berechnet.

• Damian (4/5): nie polecam - To miejsce ma tak duży potencjał, który nie jest wykorzystywany. Sam domek jest generalnie ok, w środku jest wentylator, który w zasadzie wystarczał do opanowania sytuacji w nocy. ALE Przez praktycznie cały dzień nie ma prądu, więc wentylator jest bezużyteczny. Co ciekawe brak prądu w pokoju nie przeszkadza obsłudze grać u siebie muzykę. To co mnie najbardziej irytowało, to brak wody. I ciepłej i zimnej. Z prysznica leciał po prostu strumyk wody. Równie dobrze możesz myć się wodą z butelki. Po zapytaniu się obsługi o co z tym chodzi dostałem informację, że już napełniają magazyn z wodą i zaraz będzie lepiej. Nie było lepiej ani po dwóch godzinach, ani następnego dnia. Nie dajcie sobie wmówić, że taka specyfika wyspy bo znajomi byli w hotelu obok, za taką samą cenę i braku prądu i wody nie doświadczyli.

• Juan Jose (10/5): - La ubicación es excelente. A 2 minutos caminando de la playa pública más linda de la isla. La cocinera una genia y la atención en general de todo el personal estuvo súper bien. El lugar es super tranquilo para descansar y disfrutar. Muy cómodas las camas. La presión de la ducha era poca y fue un poco incómodo bañarse pero se entiende que en una isla es difícil la cuestión del agua.

• Florentine Schiuma (8/5): - Gute Anlage. Es gibt nur zu bestimmten Zeiten Strom und Internet. Das ist aber kein Problem, dafür reist man ja auch auf die Insel :). Man kann mit einem Guide vor Ort auch Ausflüge machen, wir haben einen tollen Schnorchelausflug gemacht. Wir hatten, um es mit der Bootsfahrt entspannter zu haben, early Check-in und late Check-out gebucht. Wurde uns nicht gewährt. Wir hatten aber den Eindruck, dass es anderen ermöglicht wurde. Da eventuell etwas beharrlicher sein.
• David (3/5): Decepcionante - Las cabañas diseñadas muy bonitas Presión del agua. Fatal. Al igual que el agua del inodoro. No tragaba las heces. En el check in nos dijeron que no habría luz entre las 9am y 12am y en la tarde entre las 4pm y las 6pm. La realidad es que no había luz desde 6 am hasta 6pm
• David (9/5): - La habitación impecable, toques simples y modernos, muy acogedora con mucha luz de ventanas, y lamparas cálidas en el cabecero. Baño limpio y moderno.cama muy cómoda. Ubicación perfecta en el medio, para ir andando a las playas de norte y sur (5min o menos cada una), incluso las del este (20min) y oeste (40 min). Las instalaciones de jardín, comedor y piscina, muy básicas para el precio. Se podría tener mucho más acogedor con un jardín mejor cuidado. Mosquitera del baño rota, pero tampoco caí en avisarles para arreglarla en ese momento.

Nous avons fait un merveilleux séjour! La piscine était peu invitante, mais n'était pas nécessaire compte tenu des belles plages à proximité.

Le petit déjeuner n'est pas du tout varié (4 plats proposés uniquement avec des oeufs) On a dû demander à ce que la chambre soit faite le deuxième jour alors que le sol est tout de suite très sale et la poubelle n'est pas changée alors que l'on doit y mettre le papier toilette. On doit chercher le personnel et on a l'impression de vraiment le déranger. Pendant tout notre séjour, on a eu qu'un filet d'eau et pensé à apporter du gel douche et du shampooing. J'ai dû ramasser les déchets plastiques car il y a beaucoup de chiens dans l'établissement et ils les mangeaient. Toute l'Isle est remplie de déchets. Grosse coupure d'électricité toute la journée. Pas du tout professionnel.

The first one is during the time when guests would be arriving at the dock and if no one is there to meet them as it was when I arrived, you wouldn’t be able to contact anyone for assistance.

• Kissling (5/5): Noch viel zu verbessern - der einzige englisch sprechende Mitarbeiter Juan Pablo ist nett und hilfsbereit  die Anlage ist sehr ruhig und man geht zum Strand in ca 5 Minuten abends teilweise nicht so ruhig da die eigenen hier anwesenden Mitarbeiter relativ laut Musik hören Strom nur in der Nacht bzw einmal über drei Stunden während des Tages aufgrund der Optik in der im Freien befindlichen Küche haben wir in der Anlage nur einmal Abend gegessen es gab hier weder Bier noch Coca-Cola oder Fruchtsaft ausschließlich Wasser zum Trinken im Restaurant sehr unbequeme Stühle im Restaurantbereich und keine Sitzauflagen es wird hier scheinbar sehr auf Strom sparen geachtet, denn es wurde uns zweimal das Licht bewusst abgedreht, so dass wir beinahe nicht mehr unseren Bungalow ohne Nutzung der Taschenlampe gefunden hätten 😉 es gab keine Seife im Bungalow aufgrund fehlender Abdeckungen des Abwassers in der Dusche hat es sehr nach Fäkalien im sehr kleinen Badezimmer gestunken (vielleicht mag dies der Grund der vielen unzähligen Fliegen sein) der Pool, welcher meiner Meinung nach nur für Kleinkinder geeignet ist wurde gerade befüllt bzw Filter gewaschen als wir ankamen das Wasser ist allerdings derart trüb dass wir es bevorzugt haben, ihn nicht zu nutzen

• OlaKarol (10/5): - Bardzo przyjemne i klimatyczne miejsce. Domek był wygodny, duży, nocą można spać przy otwartych oknach bez wentylatora. Cicho. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny. Do dyspozycji gości są rowery co ułatwiło poznanie innych zakątków wyspy. Dobre jedzenie.

• Yasmin (4/5): Decepcionante - La habitación corresponde a lo que muestran las fotos. La experiencia fue decepcionante. La atención del personal fue deficiente y la comida es cara para la calidad y las pocas opciones que ofrece. Durante nuestra estancia hubo problemas de agua, no tuvimos internet y en varios momentos del día se cortó la electricidad. La piscina es muy pequeña y no invita a usarla. La playa pública más cercana queda a unos 10 minutos caminando por un camino descuidado y en la isla hay poco para hacer. Modificamos la reserva y acordamos un reembolso que, al 21/01/2026, no hemos recibido ni nos han respondido. Por el mismo precio o menos, Cartagena ofrece opciones mucho mejores y se puede visitar la isla solo por el día.

• Dante Giovanni (1/5): CUIDADO CHINCHES EN LOS COLCHONES - Nada. No me pude hospedar por las chinches que había en los colchones --CUIDADO CHINCHES EN EL HOTEL-- Hicimos una reserva en el hotel para pasar unos días en Isla Grande. Lamentablemente no pudimos quedarnos porque el colchón estaba lleno de chinches y de desperdicio de las mismas. Se nos ofrecio otro cuarto, y la cama estaba igual. Además de eso, nos dijeron que el hotel tiene energía y agua caliente solo un par de horas al día, lo cual tampoco es normal en la isla. Cometimos el error de pagar antes de ver la habitación, y aunque no nos pudimos quedar por el estado de los colchones, hasta el día de hoy, no nos han devuelto el dinero y los responsables del hotel han decidido ignorarnos. Por suerte encontramos otro alojamiento cerca. Eviten este lugar a toda costa si no se quieren infectar de chinches y llevarselas a sus casas.

• Martha Alejandra (1/5): Not recommended - My experience at Coral Sand Hotel was not good. Juan Pablo, the manager, was very unfriendly and unprofessional. He said the terminal had broken down the day before, but I met another couple in Cartagena who had stayed there a week earlier, and he told them the exact same thing — so clearly that wasn’t true. There was also a misunderstanding about breakfast, and even though it was his mistake, he didn’t take responsibility for it. The price is quite high compared to other eco-hotels in the area, and honestly, it’s not worth it. The pool wasn’t working, and there was barely any water coming out of the shower. The only good thing about this hotel is María, the girl who works in the kitchen — she was very kind and helpful. I do not recommend this hotel at all, especially with Juan Pablo in charge.

• JC (7/5): Great location, but value for money could be better - The bedroom itself was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The fan kept it cool at night, and there was electricity all night. Be aware that during the day, every other 3 hours the electricity is down. We were informed and for us that was not an issue as we were on the beach all day. At the beach is WIFI and electricity but if that is something you really look for at your accommodation, I would recommend another place. The location is great. Close to the main beach and nice restaurants (San Pedro Restaurant de Majagua and Casa Chave - download the app maps.me is a must at the island!). The area is quiet, with no loud beach music and quiet at night. The breakfast (especially the pancakes) was delicious. We appreciated being informed about the pool closure and the compensation provided. We were disappointed with the price/quality ratio, especially for a place that presents itself as a hotel rather than a campsite. A toilet seat was missing, which feels like a basic necessity, especially for the price you pay. We found it disappointing that cleaning and fresh towels weren’t offered proactively. It only happened after two days when we asked about it ourselves. We understand water is limited on the island, but a simple sign to request room cleaning would be an easy and guest-friendly solution. A quick daily sweep of the room and emptying the bins would also make a big difference. It’s manageable without daily cleaning, but a sand-free floor after a day at the beach would be nice. The shower really needs improvement. Barely any water pressure, and if you’re lucky you get three thin streams of water. The water is cold, which is fine in warm weather, but after a day at the beach it’s still nice to be able to rinse off properly or wash your hair. Which was quite a challenge. The showerhead in our bathroom was rusty, spraying water everywhere but down.

• therese (7/5): - Bra pris för ok boende. Fräscha enkla rum med stark fläkt. Höll myggor utanför. Hängmatta utanför dörren. Nära till frukost. Poolen ur funktion. Wifi fungerade av och till. Långsam servering av mat. Hotellansvarig helt ok bemötande men inte jättevänlig.

Werden opgevangen door lieve, enkel spaans sprekende vrouw die alles verzorgde. Door low season was het verder leeg en was het restaurant dicht wat veel met de sfeer deed. Waterdruk in douche erg laag. Zwembad was niet schoon genoeg om erin te zwemmen. Om echt te ontspannen zijn we naar playa san pedro gegaan en daar dagpas gekocht.

Abbiamo mangiato due sere nel ristorante dell’albergo, buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Bravissimo Juan Pablo, il manager, un ragazzo molto disponibile ci ha aiutato ad organizzare il rientro a Cartagena il mattino presto durante il giorno non c’è l’elettricità, per noi non è stato un problema in quegli orari eravamo in spiaggia

Al llegar nos atendió Juan que fue muy simpático y amable durante toda la estadía. No posee agua caliente en el baño ni aire condicionado pero ninguna de las dos cosas represento un problema para disfrutar las vacaciones ya que durante la noche refresca y el ventilador es suficiente.

Molto vicina alle tre spiagge libere dove sono presenti lettini e ombrelloni se richiesti. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono considerando che è un isola dove non c’è elettricità, fornita solo in determinate fasce orarie. Migliorerei offerta della colazione e se possibile pressione acqua.

• Lisa (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing, which is exactly what I needed. - Wonderful, comfortable, and clean bungalow. Located across the path from a gorgeous beach. Very quiet and beautiful surroundings. The only thing to be aware of is there is no power for ten hours a day (6:00-8:00 AM and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It was fine with me, but it is very hot without the fan. The lack of electricity for ten hours a day.

The location is perfect as well 2/3mins walk from Playa Libre and the boat docks. Slightly limited choices on the menu for lunch/ dinner but the ones we tried were very tasty. Our host was lovely as well and we managed to communicate well through our fairly broken Spanish and his great English!

Served a good long island ice tea. Juan Pablo is not only an receptionist and an electrician but a bartender too! It feels like you are living together with the staff and its family seperated by the pool and that their comfort is prioritized above yours. Loud music in the evenings even if no guests are around the empty bar and just wants peace and quiet. It was us amd a family of four with small children. The staff (Juan Pablo) left the premises during checkout around 10:30 and didnt show up since. The poor local staff were to figure out check out by themself. I basically checked myself out by helping the woman. Very unstable power, the electrics goes out constantly and we were not informed about this problem beforehand. It is untorable to be in the rooms without a fan working. We overpaid but this was during holiday season so i hope prices are not this high during normal conditions. If you could live there for around 40-60 dollar night I would tolerate these conditions but otherwise it is simply not worth the money.

• James (9/5): A quiet stay on Isla grande - Clean and comfortable, very cute and recent cabins, a short walk to either playa libre or the more quiet community wharf and tiny beach. We ate there and had cocktails and it was all very good! Juan Pablo was very nice and answered all our questions and requests patiently and professionally. It would have been nice to have a few lounge chairs and hammocks on the property for some more comfortable seating. It is not right on the sea shore, but really not far to walk.
