Guest Reviews

- Seppo (3/5): Not suitable for a long-term stay. Unprofessional owner. Avoid. - The location is good. It is spacious. With over 40 years of travel experience and many apartment stays booked via Booking.com, this was by far the worst.
The apartment has potential — good location, spacious, and two terraces — but it is poorly maintained and only suitable for a very short stay. We stayed 26 days and faced multiple issues: faulty toilets, a fridge door that wouldn’t close (we fixed it ourselves), frequent power trips, a persistent damp smell, ants and insects, a broken outlet, and very limited cooking facilities (no proper oven or microwave).
The main problem is the owner. Although we were told to report issues, in practice we were asked to fix them ourselves or buy items with promises of reimbursement that never happened. When we reported the fridge, we were sent to a hardware store or told to wait six days. When we mentioned ants, we were questioned instead of the issue being resolved.
Problems are routinely dismissed with claims that “no one has complained before,” or the blame is shifted to guests. There is no maintenance support or backup plan.
In contrast, during a previous stay in Seville, a similar issue was resolved within hours — that is real service, which is completely lacking here.
Considering the price (~€550/week), this offers poor value compared to other apartments across Spain (e.g. Madrid, Málaga), where basic services are included.
Bottom line: if anything goes wrong, you are on your own. The owner avoids responsibility and blames guests.
Finally, if you read the owner’s responses to reviews, you will likely notice a pattern: he does not accept responsibility, but instead downplays issues or blames guests. A professional host would resolve problems — not argue about them publicly.
Avoid.
