Guest Reviews
- Aina (8/5): - Teniem fred i ens van portar una manta a les 10 del vespre. Molt cènctric. No té finestres exteriors. Feina una mica d’olor a humitat quan vam arribar.
- Parker (10/5): - Great location
- Kateryna (10/5): - I highly recommend this apartment. It is worth the price. Very good location. All sightseeing areas are within minutes and the train station is a 15 min walk. As for me the apartment has everything for a comfortable stay. You can prepare tea/coffee in the morning or even cook if you wish as the place has all the necessary utensils. Also the space was very clean and has 2 functioning air conditioners (one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen/dining area). Very kind of the hosts that there were 2 water bottles and coffee and tea for us. Apartment wasn’t noisy. Bed and pillow were comfortable and we had a good sleep like at home. Service was good and check-in instructions were pretty straightforward.
- Leah (8/5): - Review of Florence Accomodations:
1. 46 stairs- a previous reviewer mentioned the stairs. This place has no elevator so be prepared to lug it up steep stairs.
2. The doors: my husband and I do not have an international phone data plan. You cannot get access to the property without one. ( easy solution would be to share the wi-fi password at time of booking)
3. The door to the apartment. The lock is hard to navigate with Old skeleton like key. Every time we left we were afraid we could not get back in. The mechanism at one point got stuck and it took us 20 minutes to unlock the door. They need to replace door/lock with something from this century.
4. The shower: a previous guest said small shower they were not lying.
5. Height: we are both 5’8” the doorway to the bedroom and the bathroom are very low. If you are tall you will have issues.
6. Great washing machine: rent this place because you can wash clothes. Downside is there were no instructions on how to use the high tech machine. Don’t do wash at night the machine is NOT balanced and shakes uncontrollably.
7. There is no dryer. You have to air dry everything.
8. Great air conditioning. They installed top of the line AC. In 100degree temps it kept us so cool. Best feature for hot July days.
9. Great-History Buffs: this place is very historic. I would rent for the history alone. It is just a short walking distance to EVERYTHING.
- Siba (6/5): Perfect location but the room felt like an attic - The location is just perfect accessible to everything you need during your stay. From attractions to restaurants to transportations to shopping just name it…. It’s in the heart of the city and only few minutes away walking from major historical and cultural places. The place was very clean and the building was super quiet and had a very good amount of privacy. It had no view at all and it was on the 3rd or 4th floor with no elevator (but to be fair it was mentioned in the description that there is no elevator) so you need to be ready for a good steps count. Specially if you have lots of heavy luggages.
- Charles (6/5): - If you need a cheap place to stay in Florence for 1 night this is adequate. It's up 3 flights of steep stairs with no elevator. I'm a big guy and the shower was tiny. The bed left less than 8 inches on either side of the bed. There is no place to sit to relax other than the bed. That being said, the location was primo. Ponte Vecchio was just a 5 minute walk.
- Miranda (9/5): Superb -
- Dinko (7/5): Good - Position
- William (8/5): - Wonderful location but sadly very noisy with surrounding flats and bed could have been more comfortable.
- Agni (6/5): Pleasant - The location is great. Easy access to the center and main attractions. Good places to eat and drink very near the property. The staff is very helpful and they respond quickly. Toilet and bathroom was dirty. And the apartment had a weird smell in general.
- Kayla (8/5): Very good -
- Jim (7/5): Good -
- Levanidova (5/5): Passable -

- Paul (2/5): I would never stay in that apartment again! Not a place to hang out and relax in at all. - Location was excellent, it had a washing machine. For almost $1000.00/week I expected an apartment that had more character than some basement student rental. The place was like a cave with very low ceilings and had a musty smell that wouldn't go away. There are windows in the unit, but the view out of them is of a small light well that is scuzzy with bird dropping encrusting the wires, downspouts, and window sills; or maybe a great view of a water heater; I really didn't want to open them. I'm only 5"11" tall, but i kept hitting my head on the door frame in the bathroom. The shower was so small that when I dropped the soap I couldn't pick it up without getting out of the shower itself, and there wasn't a soap dish in the shower anyway. There was one comfortable chair in the bedroom in addition to 2 non-upholstered wooden kitchen table chairs. No place to just hang out and relax -which you would expect from an apartment. The floors were not really clean; the bottoms of our socks were darkened considerably from walking around the apartment. I was required to sign in for the room online where I was very unexpectedly required to sign a multi-page apartment lease - one in English and one in Italian (which I certainly don't read)- which stated that I would be charged for other things, like a cleaning fee of about $80 and utilities- in addition to the standard city tax. The apartment lessor told me I really wasn't going to be charged for those things, but I still had to sign that I would pay them or not get the apartment. I was also required to send them my credit card info (even though Booking.com already had that info), along with photo of me holding up my passport next to my face. I was wondering if I was getting scammed. I would have cancelled, but we were due in Florence in a couple days and that city sells out months in advance.
- Helen (5/5): Taking 2 hours to gain entrance really was a bad start. When we got inside there was no toilet roll. - The hosts were very responsive to our issues which was good. The location is amazing and the bed was comfortable. It was small bathroom etc but this was what we expected. No toilet roll and couldn’t gain access for 2 hours due to a broken keybox.
- Anna (7/5): Great place for a short stay - The bed was lovely and big and the air conditioning was a god-send with the heat of the day during aug-sept.
The kitchen is well equipped and it was all pretty clean through the flat. There isn't a lot of natural light into the apartment but if you're out all day this isn't really a problem just something to note! The kitchen table could do with being at a 90° angle rather than slanting downwards.
The bathroom is quite small and gets quite warm, it smelt of damp even when we kept the window open but it wasn't a massive problem, just something we noted :)
- Sandra (6/5): We appreciated the place but not really the apartment. - The place of the apartment is wonderful as it is at 2 minutes by foot from Ponte Vecchio bridge. The air conditioning is really appreciated. The apartment is really dark (even on a sunny day, you need to switch of the light). There was a smell of cold tabacs in the main room (kitchen/entrance). The table is really small, tilted as it will collapse.
- Christian (8/5): We always enjoyed Florence - The location is perfect. The apartment is located in a historic building two steps from Ponte Vecchio and close to Palazzo Pitti, Boboli Gardens, and Uffizi Gallery. Nice restaurants nearby. Excellent base for exploring the historic center of Florence. The price was attractive. The apartment is provided with the amenities to feel comfortable for a week. There are 67 very steep steps to get to the apartment. It might be an issue for some people, especially with heavier luggage. The apartment is tiny. It is difficult for two to sit at the table for a cup of coffee in the morning. One has to move on tiptoe to get to bed. The distance between the wall and the bed is less than a footstep. Sometimes it's noisy late in the evening 1.30-2 AM. Can be cleaned more accurately. I will recommend adding a basket for soap and shampoo in the shower cabin.
- Anna (8/5): Very good - nice tiny apartment, close to all sight-seen. easy access. everything clean. owners switched on airconditionair before our arrival so it was very pleasant
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - Location is good All windows open into internal air tunnels. No view
- Ibrahim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fuchs (1/5): It was the worst 2 nights of my life. - It was disgusting. We moved out after two revolting nights and have requested an URGENT REFUND for this unacceptable accom. Have sent photos to Bookings.com
- Rhea (7/5): Good - location check in is very difficult and resulted in long wait times
- Jeremy (9/5): definitely worth staying there again. - superb location. very well equipped. all the necessities (except sachets of washing detergent for the clothes washer) and a lovely bottle of wine and water on arrival. i’m tall, so hit my head on the doors a few times. but completely not a problem!
- Maite (10/5): Perfect! If you wanna live a true firenze experience! - PERFECT location, too close to the historical points, close to market. Everything was perfect. Great kitchen, washing machine was inside the closet and have no dryer. Good bed and shower. Had great time here. Only missed one more blanket. Only thing I didn't like too much was a online contract I had to sign before the check-in. I not used to it. I dont know its ok for the booking polites. But ok for me.
- Diana (7/5): Good - The location is amazing and it is very quiet (absolutely no street noise). The communication with the staff was also very good, they were replying very fast and even fixed some shelf (without us asking) during our stay. There was water left for us as well which was a nice gesture and we appreciated it very much as we didn't have at the time of arrival. The bed was not comfortable at all. After 7 nights all my back and neck were done 😃
The bathroom sink was not draining properly and by the end of our stay it got completely clogged.
You get the feeling you live in a corridor and that was kinda strange.
- Lainie (8/5): pleasant - location location location no elevator, no blankets e no extra pillow cases.
- Kerry (7/5): Good - Very close to the city centre and local shops and restaurants. Excellent location. Loads of steps leading to the apartment so if you have a lot of luggage it could be a problem.
It could do with better cleaning.
- Georgia (8/5): Very good -
- Stefanos (9/5): Superb -
