- Robert (1/5): Bad - The jacuzzi, shower. I booked for two people. The host inappropriately charged me $120 for a spa fee for what booking.com indicated was for two people. Over email, the host indicated that the $120 spa fee was only for one person. The "spa experience" it turns out, was nothing more than an infrared sauna and steam shower. For $120 per person? No thanks. In any event, after stressful back and forth over email prior to my arrival, the host agreed to refund the spa experience as we were not interested. After check out, the host again tried to inappropriately invoice for the cost of the spa fee. The host also represented that she offered a complimentary shuttle service into Creemore, which we gladly accepted. But on checkout, we were charged over $20 for the shuttle. There was also confusion over payment as I had understood that Booking.com was to charge my account. In addition, on check-in, I provided my credit card information. I did not appreciate being called a cheat and dishonest by the host due to her not knowing how to operate a computer. A simple email or telephone call would have sufficed and I would have ensured that payment was secured (which I did) instead of yelling and throwing insults. The room itself was small and basic with harsh overhead lighting although the mattress and pillows were memory foam--comfortable. The bathroom was large, but be careful as rooms have unrenovated and unappealing bathrooms. The jacuzzi was divine. The property itself was wonderful. There is also a large German Sheppard that freely roams the property. He growls. .
- Claudia (9/5): Comfortable weekend stay - The property was well maintained. The unit we stayed in was spacious loft with king bed, bathroom and kitchen and dining/living room. We didn’t have access to the promised high speed wifi, which isn’t a problem, unless you don’t have your own cell data. We would have preferred a bathtub in the bathroom.
