Guest Reviews
- Illiashenko (7/5): Good -
- Anastasiia (6/5): I would strongly recommend that the host service the apartment and fix these problems. The place itself isn’t bad, but i - the location is great — close to the city center and very quiet. I especially liked the window view overlooking the internal courtyard — it felt truly Italian. The apartment is extremely small but has all the basic essentials. When I arrived, the apartment hadn’t been cleaned, and unfortunately, the previous guest had left it in a very dirty state. After I informed the host, it was taken care of within about 1.5 hours. Since I didn’t want to waste time, I went for a walk without being able to shower or change after a long trip. The host promised to refund the cleaning fee — I’m still waiting for that.
When I returned, the apartment was cleaned, but the unpleasant smell remained very strong. I checked every corner trying to locate the source, and I believe the issue comes from the siphon. It’s likely clogged, dry, or not sealed properly. As a result, it’s quite difficult to stay in the apartment due to the persistent odor. (Still unresolved)
The showerhead leaks at the connection with the hose — water sprays out in all directions, not just from the main outlet. The shower cabin is very small (even for someone weighing 50kg), and water spills from the tank, leaving the bathroom floor wet.
The coffee machine doesn’t work. The water tank is full, the capsule is inserted correctly, and the power is on. The machine makes noise but doesn’t dispense any coffee.
The main ceiling lamp makes a very unpleasant buzzing sound when turned on.
These are just a few examples. I didn’t use the kitchen, but I suspect there might be similar issues there.
- Nadia (10/5): Great accommodation, I’d stay there again. - The location was fabulous. I am travelling alone and could walk everywhere easily and felt safe. The apartment is small but very comfortable and clean. Wifi worked really well and the shower was small as expected but great hot water. The staff were prompt and helpful answering any questions I had. The accommodation is very close to the floating ball…located across the street from the end of green bridge in the picture. A walk to the Duomo.
- Abdarrahman (8/5): Very good -
- Luconi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dario (1/5): Dirty Room on Arrivel - Dirty, no contact or help at arrivel. Only the next they we got an answer.
- Adam (8/5): Very good; some minor fixes would make it excellent. - The room had a good amount of utensils and various equipment for making meals etc, not that I used much of it. The air conditioning was easy to use and the bed was comfortable. The free washing up kits proved very helpful.
The housekeeper was easily contactable and responded to queries. The apartment is rather small and you have to move things around in some cases. In particular, the shower cubicle is very small and the shower curtain had holes in it. There was no recycling bin obviously provided, and I had to get a spare bin out from a cupboard..
- Piyabovornchad (8/5): Very good -
- Andrzej (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable place to sleep. Well managed with helpful items for travelers. I liked the extras: paper towels, some coffee (could use few more),tee, and bathroom supplies. They are handy. Great location-could use a short note about the water canals with restaurants near by. Google search doesn't clearly show vibrant section that are so close. Highly recommend it for one person. It was a challenge to use the extremely small shower.
Providing building and room security features would be a nice touch, as you had a secure building door, video surveillance entrance area, solid room door.
- Alessia (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (8/5): Very good -
- Gideon (4/5): Clean and well located, decent facilities, but also tiny, too few sockets, support lacked somewhat. - Very small but well equipped and stocked kitchen. There were also some nice extra things in the bathroom (soap, shampoo, etc.). Host was quickly available on booking.com for queries. Mostly quiet. Just a few hundred meters from the metro. When I arrived at the building, the code given to me to open the door didn't work.
When I had a problem with the wifi and needed to work from home, I wrote to the contact who messaged me on Whatsapp before. There was never any answer. Many hours later, I wrote on booking.com and only then got help. A person came in the evening who told me that alternative connection details would be sent. I had to write again the next morning after nothing has happened. Eventually, the wifi details were sent, but on my final day, some hours later, it again stopped working.
The bathroom is really tiny, especially the shower. The water didn't smell very nice.
The button for the bed lamp is just out of reach - one needs to get up on your knees to reach it.
There are not enough sockets for all devices, even existing ones, to use. To use the kettle, I needed to unplug one of the others, and one more (usually the non-functioning router) to charge my laptop.
Below the TV on the wall there is a desk with a chair, but the chair is way too low to use the desk for anything productive.
Before checking out, I had to ask the host what I should do with the trash in my room (it wasn't made clear beforehand).
- Anna (9/5): Great stay! - All. Nothing, just a size.
- Zhanna (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was clean and nice. I enjoyed the conditioner as it was hot outside. It was quiet also. The owner really cares about the visitors. Everything is very convenient. Duomo is a 20 minute walk from the apartment. I downloaded an audio guide and visited most places of interest on foot. Very good for an individual traveler. I do recommend. Nothing
- Juliya (6/5): Pleasant - Good location. Clean. Nice apartment. Bed is not a real bed..it is a kitchen sofa… which is not comfortable to sleep…
