• Carolyn (10/5): Perfect hotel for experiencing Istanbul - loved it! - We were blown away by the location of this hotel. Right in the middle of everything, just perfect. On arrival the staff went above and beyond for us. We checked into our room, dropped off bags and then went back to reception ready to explore. The kind gentleman recommended a roof terrace for us to go to for food as we hadn't eaten. It was perfect. Our room was incredible. Right in front of one of the mosques, very spacious with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, best nights sleep in days. Breakfast was very good too, lots of choices! Nothing!

• Wesley (10/5): Fun, exciting, and very friendly and helpful employees at the hotel. - The location was perfect. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. I don’t remember his name, but one person especially was so great, he made us maps of everywhere we wanted to go and helped with every question we had. And the breakfast buffet had a nice spread, we stayed there to enjoy it every morning. The pillows weren’t the most comfortable, but besides that, it was great.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offering was pretty good but the breakfast service could be improved slightly (and coffee could be a bit warmer)

The room was huge, has bags of character and the bed was so comfortable! We arrived at about 1.30am thanks to a delayed flight and it was no bother, reception was manned 24 hours and it was like we arrived at midday. Nothing was a problem. Fab breakfast in a beautiful dining room. Location was perfect for all the sights in the historic centre and there so many brilliant restaurants nearby. Nothing.

• Susan C (10/5): The Règie Ottoman provides a very special expereince. It made our Istanbul stay extremely pleasant. - Staff support and communication was fantastic. They texted airport pickup instructions and took care of us late at night. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The location was ideal for our brief stay. We could walk to Mosques and restaurants. I cannot say enough about the staff kindness. They are caring and knowledgeable. Also, the breakfast was wonderful. We highly recommend the Règie Ottoman Istanbul. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

• SEMIRAMIS SOLANGE (10/5): - Fiquei num quarto de luxo, o hotel e muito bonito, o quarto tem um pe direito altissimo, e bem decorado e bonito. O pessoal faz tudo para te ajudar, tem muita boa vontade, sao gentis e eficientes. Um agradecimento especial para o Jorge e o rapaz que nos conduziu ao apartamento. O tranfer para o aeroporto tb e muito bom, vale a pena contratar, carro enorme, super confortavel. Hotel muito bem localizado, bom cafe da manha. Servico de limpeza excelente. A unica coisa a ressaltar e que eles deveriam mudar a ducha do banho, o fluxo d’agua saia muito espalhado. Tb tem uma banheira muito alta. Acho que atende gente mais alta, o que nao e o meu caso. Eles ofereceram um outro quarto, com ducha sem banheira, mas eu nao quis trocar, pq as janelas do quarto eram tipo venezianas, muito altas, inacessiveis, o que o tornava um tanto claustrofobico. Assim, acabei me adaptando. No entanto, o espaco do banheiro, a pia etc era td muito bom e muito limpo.

• Gerald (10/5): Excellent location - wonderful boutique hotel in a buzzling neighbourhood - We loved the very central location - both, for spending a few touristy hours, but also for business. The rooms were very clean and wonderfully designed. I particularly liked the tasteful design elements. From the first moment on, the hotel's team was extremely helpful and made us feel almost at home. Whenever we stepped into the hotel from the buzzling streets it felt like a calm oasis. I wish we had more time to enjoy breakfast and the rooms. Thanks for that. Showers might need a little maintenance.

Das Frühstück war gut, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden um sich zu stärken und in den Tag zu starten. Der Kaffee (Filterkaffee) war ok, aber nicht wirklich gut. Kaffee von der Bar, wie Cappucino muss extra bezahlt werden. Da ein guter Kaffee Standart sein sollte, sollte dieser inkludiert sein

• D'angelo (5/5): Posizione comoda, ma esperienza complessivamente caotica e poco curata. - La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica, comoda per gli spostamenti. Tuttavia, allo stesso tempo, la zona risulta piuttosto caotica e rumorosa. Struttura datata e poco curata. La vista dava direttamente sui motori dell’aria condizionata, con un rumore continuo delle cappe presente sia di giorno che di notte, rendendo il soggiorno poco confortevole. Il bagno in condizioni pessime: doccia rumorosa con perdite d’acqua e lavandino costantemente otturato. Colazione di livello basso, così come il servizio: personale poco disponibile e, in alcuni casi, poco cortese. Anche il servizio bar è risultato praticamente inesistente. Unica nota positiva il concierge, molto disponibile, anche se con una forte propensione a proporre servizi a pagamento.

• FRANK (8/5): Schönes Hotel an toller Lage - Tolle Lage, das Deluxe Zimmer war sehr schön obwohl man nur die Wand des Nachbarhauses sah, was in der dichten Altstadt sicher nicht ungewöhnlich ist. Aufpreis für Cappuccino beim Frühstück ist einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäss. Eine gute Kaffemaschine zur Selbstbedienung sollte Standard sein auf diesem Niveau. Ansonsten war das Frühstück gut.

• Michail (1/5): Bad experience - Στην booking καταχωρείται ως ξενοδοχείο 5 αστέρων και είναι 4 αστέρων ξενοδοχείο πράγμα απαράδεκτο και εξαπάτηση! Το δωμάτιο μας που ήταν σουίτα σε αρκετά υψηλή τιμή , ήταν στον πρώτο όροφο, πολύ ευρύχωρο αλλά με ένα πολύ πολύ κακό μπάνιο!!! Θα δείτε στις φωτογραφίες τι εννοώ.(Δεν τις ανεβάζουν όλες) Το προσωπικό σημείωσε ότι τους ανέφερα σαν πρόβλημα χωρίς να μας αλλάξουν δωμάτιο απλώς καθαρίζοντας ότι μπορούσαν. -Έπεφταν οι τοίχοι, σάπια αξεσουάρ μπάνιου, σπασμένη μπανιέρα και βουλωμένος νεροχύτης λίγα από τα πράγματα που μου έρχονται στο μυαλό. On booking it is listed as a 5 star hotel and it is a 4 star hotel which is unacceptable. Our room which was a suite at a fairly high price, was on the first floor with a very very bad bathroom!!! You will see in the photos what I mean.(They don't upload all the photos) The staff noted that I mentioned it to them as a problem without changing our room, just cleaning what they could. -The walls felt down, the sink was clogged and the bathtub was broken, and the bathroom accessories were rotten.

• Antoni (8/5): Bel emplacement, chambre confortable et vue magnifique. - Séjour satisfaisant. Le personnel est aimable et l'organisation de guides ou du hammam est facilitée sur demande. L'emplacement est idéal pour la visite des monuments, dans un quartier calme. La chambre (304) était spacieuse, confortable et offrait une vue magnifique. Le petit-déjeuner était correct mais peu varié. Même en arrivant tôt, certains produits manquaient déjà. Nous avons également noté une odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain, probablement due aux canalisations. Enfin, veuillez noter que certains services ne peuvent être réglés qu'en espèces.

We couldn't fault the location for accessibility to all of the main tourist areas. We found everyone to be friendly and helpful. Only a couple of small niggles. The bar in the hotel is very expensive, although the drinks are good. The Wi-Fi in the bar is also not great.

Huone (205) oli siisti, puhdas, samoin suihku-wc, tuoksuton huoneilma. Huone siivottiin päivittäin. WiFi toimi hyvin. Yöt olivat hiljaisia, rauhallisia. Miellyttävä kingsize-vuode. Huoneessa useampi pieni valopiste. Monipuolinen aamiainen tyylikkäässä salissa. Kahvi/tee tarjoiltiin pöytään. Olemme erittäin tyytyväisiä hotelliin, palveluihin ja henkilökuntaan. Erikoiskiitoksen haluamme antaa Georgelle mukavista juttutuokioista ja The Evil Eyestä. Huone (205) oli liian kuuma. Seinällä oleva lämpömittari näytti jopa +28 astetta, joka oli tukahduttavan kuuma. Lämpötilan säätölaitteesta ei joka päivä saanut laskettua huoneen lämpötilaa. Ilmeisesti siivooja nosti lämpötilan takaisin +27/+28 asteeseen. Huonetta oli viilennettävä pitämällä ikkunaa auki. Sopiva huonelämpötila olisi ollut korkeintaan +21 astetta.

A vista do quarto de noite, para a Mesquita, é um espetáculo a parte. O quarto elegante e confortável. O café da manha excelente. Muito bem localizado para conhecer a parte histórica e as principais atrações, que são acessíveis em alguns minutos de caminhada. Também o porto para se deslocar para os demais bairros e a estação do oriente express são próximos O chuveiro não funcionava adequadamente. La posizione è straordinaria: nel cuore della città storica, ideale per raggiungere a piedi le meraviglie di Istanbul come Santa Sofia, la Moschea Blu e il Gran Bazar. Passeggiare tra queste strade e poi tornare in questo luogo così raffinato è un vero piacere. Le camere sono eleganti, silenziose e molto confortevoli, con un’atmosfera calda e sofisticata. Tutto è pensato per far sentire l’ospite coccolato. Ma ciò che rende davvero speciale questo hotel è il personale: gentile, attento e sempre pronto ad aiutare con un sorriso sincero. • Liam (3/5): Beautifully broken - The property looked incredible and was stunning the suite room was beautiful. The bathroom to suite was rotten 108 room number. Not told the restaurant was closed on booking, in fact offered deals to go half board. Staff at breakfast lazy, loudest in the room. One member of staff attended to popping their spot in the mirror during breakfast… highlight. Offered a horrendous transfer price, double what you can book equivalent and said their vehicles were the only ones allowed in-front of the hotel. That was a lie. Staff generally disinterested had glimmers of hope from reception. They had some lovely people, but equally not as well. A premise that’s had its good days and is on the decline. Breakfast wasn’t topped up, generally a poor standard!

• Ekaterina (9/5): Stylish hotel, well located for all main city attractions - Great location, very friendly and attentive staff, attractive design, fresh renovation, clean rooms, and a good gym. Situated on a quiet corner of Sultanahmet, the hotel is within walking distance of all the main tourist sites and is well maintained, with a modern, recently renovated feel. We had an issue with our room described below that was dealt by the staff promptly. The family room did not fully match its description, and the photos on booking.com are of a different room and are misleading. It consisted of two interconnected rooms, one without any windows and the other with windows blocked from the outside by artificial plants, resulting in no view and no access to fresh air. The temperature was controlled by a centralised air-conditioning system set at 27°C, with no option for individual adjustment, which felt uncomfortable for four people. After we complained, we were moved for the second night to a suite with large windows and a pleasant view, which was significantly more comfortable. I would recommend that families travelling with children book a suite rather than a family room.

A rua do hotel é calma mas a redondeza é bem movimentada, com comércio um pouco popular. Mas para nós a localização foi ótima. Os funcionários são excelentes, prestativos e gentis. Café da manhã bom. Cama ótima. Gostei de tudo
