Guest Reviews
- Emma (10/5): - The flexibility of the host, the surrounds, the hospitality A bit small of a room but such great value regardless
- linh (10/5): -
- Michele (10/5): - Peaceful, natural atmosphere, combined with high quality accommodation.
Generous welcome basket and generous, knowledgeable host.
A welcome chance to recoup and rest.

- Brian (9/5): A lovely location with wildlife - Rural setting with onsite koalas. A covered area outside the room would be nice.
- voltalina (10/5): - The serenity
- Susanna (8/5): A Tranquil setting with great views and ambiance. - The bed was really comfortable and hosts are easy to get along with. It was nice being able to see a Koala, lovely birds and the dingos they have on the property. There wasn’t any where comfortable to sit as there is no room, also we were there while it was raining so being suck in a small room with no chairs isn’t that great.
Having a veranda would help with this adding more space and some where to sit even when it raining.
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Tim (10/5): Perfect location for day tripping and gracious hosts. - Idyllic A tad hard to find after darkness
- Penrose (9/5): A quiet spot outside town - Lovely owner happy to talk about Australian animals and her beloved dingoes. Resident Koala guaranteed! Quiet spot. Nothing
- Thomas (9/5): Wild life paradise - Beautiful property with wonderful owners, where the Wild life roams. We were shown by Cat around, fed the sheep, saw numerous Koalas, various birds and Kangaroos. Cat introduced us to her Dingos, what gentle beautiful animals Nothing

- Jasper (9/5): Amazing wildlife retreat! - Amazing location in the middle of wildlife - lots of kangaroos and koalas next to the room. We loved the sheep and the dingoes. Nice chocolate in the room as well.
Catherine was very helpful and shared her knowledge about the area and animals. Terrace could use some more cozy and comfortable chairs.
- Vikki (9/5): Excellent retreat in nature but close to town - Loved the location out in the country with sightings of kangaroo and Koala. The bed was really comfortable and although compact the room worked really well. The bathroom was modern and clean.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - The room was lovely - very comfy bed, spotless and modern bathroom, and a very generous basket of goodies on arrival (toiletries and breakfast, etc.)
- Andrea (10/5): Cozy room in beautiful surroundings - We received a very nice welcome basket with delicious things. The bed is super comfortable and Caterina gave us a fantastic accommodated tour around their beautiful property (on which we could feed and meet the animals, including their dingos). In the morning, we could observe many nice birds. The accommodation is very quiet and conveniently located just outside of Apollo Bay.
- Iona.5 (10/5): Beautiful surroundings and accommodation - This place was amazing with so much wildlife on the doorstep - we saw koalas, wallabies and kangaroos within a few minutes walk of our room. Our hosts were so welcoming and provided us with a tour of the grounds and allowed us to meet their dingoes. The room was very cosy, clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again if in the area.
- Celeste (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennydep (10/5): Peaceful and comfortable - Very comfortable room, lovely property and family. We saw koalas, fed the sheep and got to hang out with the dingos and learn lots. Great location for getting out and going on some walks and down to the beach.

- Frederike (10/5): Peaceful place in a magical forest - If you are looking to connect with nature, this is your best option! The room is comfortable and has everything you'll need. The sound of the parrots will wake you in the morning and you can explore the area by yourself or ask Brett & Cat for a tour. Get ready to spot koala's and meet their beautiful dingoes. This place is just magic!
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - We had an absolutely delightful stay at Great Ocean Road Wellness and Nature Stay. The room was incredibly cozy. What truly made our stay exceptional was the opportunity to interact with their adorable sheep. Being allowed to feed them was a unique and memorable experience that we'll cherish forever. The combination of cozy accommodations and the chance to connect with nature made our stay truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return!
- Claire (10/5): Relaxing weekend away - Everything was great. The room was comfortable and very relaxing. I need that room spray 🤪
The tour of the property was an extra bonus as we got to meet the animals and see koalas. That we cant visit every weekend.
- Nicola (10/5): Australian wildlife at your fingertips - We were very touched by the welcome basket and the attention to detail in the cottage. The hosts are incredibly lovely. We had arranged to meet them in the morning for a guided walk on the property and saw so much native wildlife: koalas, wallabies, kangaroos, parrots basically at the breakfast table. However, Meeting the dingos was the most touching and memorable experience of our whole Australia trip. Just beware, they sleep right next door so you might hear them at night. Exactly right for nature lovers - others may not be as happy. Cottage could be a little bigger, but 2 large suitcases and 3 rucksacks do fit.
- Tracey (8/5): The host was great. Went above and beyond. Very peaceful setting. Enjoyed the wildlife. - Lovely and clean and peaceful
- Olivia (10/5): Lovely Baby moon - We loved staying at this property and being around all the animals and nature

- Lucia (9/5): Peaceful accommodation in nature, with a beautiful host, just a short 5 minute drive from Apollo Bay. - Caterina was a beautiful host. Lovely unexpected homemade treats made the stay extra special. The accomodation was in a peaceful location surrounded by nature and animals. I felt very safe as a solo traveller. The unit was very private with parking at the door. It was a great base for me to do day trips from.
- Marianne (10/5): Great hospitality & cute dingoes - A great place to explore the beautiful surrounding nature.
- Anonymous (9/5): peaceful healing retreat space & time we benefitted so much from - peaceful tranquil v clean fresh air & surrounded by beautiful trees , green forest & animals / birds of various types. up close & personal with Alpine dingo for 1st time. Hosts were amazing & really went the extra mile to ensure our needs were met. only 1 chair , no little table to eat at indoors. or rest suitcases on, as crawling on floor to reach clothes in cases became challenging, with our health issues. we were grateful the hosts wonderfully addressed our concerns promptly .
- Aprilangela (9/5): Superb - Caterina was so kind that she guide us through property and explain about gum trees. My husband left his silver ring and Caterina kindly posted that ring with lovely card to our place in Melbourne. Many thanks

- Jupp (10/5): magnificant accomodation with singular flair - We had found a hidden treasure:
The little flat is soo stylishly interior decorated on high level. It comes upon super clean and cosy.
Although it is located in wonderfull nature, direct to the great ocean road, only a short hop to town, Restaurants and beach.
Furthermore we found plenty of unexpected, lovely set ups, which mad us feeling to stay with friends. We enjoyed our breakfast müsli in the morning sun.
Caterina and Brett - the whole family - are terrific sympathic people. They showed us the
typical animals like koalas, the frindly dingo‘s, sheeps… we saw many birds, all living on the ground.
Greatly thanks for your outstanding hospitality, your sense for wildlife and unforgetable moments!!
