Guest Reviews
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, and a perfect distance from a bus stop or overground train. The underground was just a short bus ride or a long walk away. The bed was also very soft and enough pillows for you heart's desire. The shower was hard to operate. The temperature was either too hot or scorching, but I made it work🤷🏻‍♀️
- Rod (9/5): Great property in a central location, would definitely stay again. - It was a very well set up property for our stay and we appreciated the little personal touches that Clive supplied.
The location and access to public transport was excellent.
- Thebarnz (4/5): An okay stay - Well appointed kitchen and bathroom. The apartment was warm Very dirty windows. Curtains very dirty and carpet filthy. Mattress on the bed narrower than the iron frame
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Alana (6/5): Pleasant - -Proximity to buses that took us into central London in 20 or so minutes.
-It had a washing machine/dryer and basic cooking facilities (although the washing machine turned my white clothes brown.)
-It was light and bright.
-It was warm. -Within hours of arriving someone asked us why the hell we were staying on the Caledonian road and told us that it was where London’s burglars do their training, before showing us how easy it was to break into the apartment front door with a piece of plastic card. Needless to say, we didn’t exactly feel safe there after that.
-The bed was advertised as an extra-large double, which is usually booking.com code for a king size, but what we found was a very cheap double mattress on a queen sized bed frame.
-If you are over 5’8” getting down to the bathroom will be a pain. If you are over 6’, you won’t be able to stand in the shower.
- Helen (9/5): Superb - Great location between Islington and Camden. Quiet residential area, but minutes away from an excellent bus route with frequent services to the city centre, Camden, Regents Park, Kings X etc. Walking distance to the canal and Kings X. The apartment itself is compact but comfortable. Kitchen facilities a bit limited but were fine for what we needed for a few days stay. Minor details, a chopping board and better kitchen utensils. Otherwise we had everything we needed.
Instructions for location of key safe could have been clearer, and a bit high up for short folk.
- Dadic-dinulovic (8/5): We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to other people. - It was very clean and pretty spacious. All said in advance was completely true. Bedroom and bathroom windows could not be completely closed so, for example, bathroom was cold at periods.
- Dimitra (7/5): good location close to transport. - close to transport
- Barbara (9/5): Charmingly furnished apartment in convenient location - Comfortable, secure & well-furnished apartment, in convenient central location near Kings Cross. Good transport links, close to both overground & tube. Good facilities, with both washing machine (needed when staying a week) & dishwasher. Small bathroom. Shower screen not long enough to limit water spray from shower.
