Guest Reviews
- Kate (10/5): Thank you so much Francesca and Antonio and the team at Amazing Suites, I highly recommend!! - The Hosts were very helpful and kind. Their communication prior to and during our stay was clear and fantastic, and they also responded very quickly to any questions we had. We were met at check in as planned and shown around the apartment. An apertivo basket I had ordered from them was delicious and set us up for our first day/evening in Rome. This apartment was as not only as described, but exceeded our expectations with the modern style, facilities, cleanliness, comfort and location. It was warm and bright with all the facilities we needed for a weeks stay. Information on the local restaurants, transport, supermarkets etc and just about anything was available in a folder and we also communicated via what's app for anything else. Our Hosts informed us there was going to be a transport strike planned in Rome our day of departure so they made sure to book us a Taxi to the Airport. We knew there were several different levels but this wasn't a problem for our family with 2 adult sons, and we all enjoyed having the different spaces to use, the heated spa pool was also a winner after sight seeing during the day! Great location, so central and easy and quick to walk to just about everything. Although there were a couple of minor things that weren't working as they should, or we weren't sure how to work, they were addressed and remedied straight away. I can't fault the service nor the apartment.
- Fortunato (6/5): Great location, Well appointed - very good temporary accommodation - Location, concept of the apartment is fantastic - especially in Summer with pool and jacuzzi (although not heated). Well fitted out with facilities, laundry, TV, internet - all great. The ability to have separate living quarters is a bonus. Internet connection was stable, well appointed to serve a week's stay. Not a large kitchen, but enough to cater for snacks when required. The apartment itself is a little outdated for the price being paid. Facilities could do a with a refurbish/modernization for the money charged. Eleven (11) days after leaving, the holding deposit still has not been released - and i am told to go and chase it up with my own bank for release (imagine?). You need to be ok climbing stairs which we were (difficult to get luggage up to first floor sleeping quarters though). No clear strategy on how to handle your garbage outside fill the existing bins, and take your rubbish outside onto the street when you've gone over ...
- Anna (10/5): Wonderful time with my family. Priceless memories! - Beautiful, modern apartament in the heart of Rome. A small swimming-pool was a fantastic relax after hours of sightseeing. Also morning breakfast coffee on the terrace next to the swimming pool and the sunset drink on the top rooftop balcony with a 360 view on Rome were amazing. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Location is probably one of the best in Rome. You are placed on the main street with all shops and bars, short walk to Spanish stairs or Pantheon, but your balconies and windows are on the other side of the building so you don’t hear noise from the city too much. Generally - fantastic place to stay for families or group of friends or even just for couples although it is very spacious apartment. Small technical issues quickly solved by staff.
- Joan (4/5): Stressful, afraid of further charges as we paid €1000 + rental of 3-night stay - 1. Location
2. Martina was really helpful in easing our stay; organized return of my son’s coat, for which we are hugely grateful Beware:
1.The staff CHARGED €1000 to my credit card - against the STANDARD practice (including hotels) of holding said amount in case of damage; I brought this to Martina's attention during our stay but was assured that it was just a holding amount.
2. Even after we returned to Singapore, per our phone conversation, staff assured me that the amount will be 'released' pending assessment of property - a time lapse of over 16 hrs since check-out.
I was extremely grateful and conveyed my thanks via WhatsApp, until my credit card statement once again confirmed that indeed, I was billed €1000! This mistake was acknowledged ONLY AFTER I WhatsApp my bank statement to them.
3. Just a cursory apology (Martina on behalf of her colleague) but this SHOULD NOT even have happened! My credit card bill was soon due and even though they returned the deposit, the administration process could have taken 10 days to 2 weeks. Thankfully, the bank deferred our payment slightly and we received our money on the 5th day.
4. All the above was conveyed to Italy via
WhatsApp but our queries regarding the extra
€1000 charged to us was met with silence.
