• Anazina (7/5): Magnifique vue - La vue magnifique en haut de la montagne. Le petit déjeuner était très copieux. La chambre était mal insonorisée. Nous entendions parler les voisins qui étaient dans leur chambre. Les rideaux ne bloquent pas la lumière. Une petite table sur le balcon aurait été appréciée.

Roberto and Felicia made this place a home for you. We read many reviews before we booked, and everyone was talking about how beautiful the place is and how lovely our hosts are. And we are not disappointed! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open heart and felt home immediately. The place has a stunning view, we could not believe how lucky we were to have chosen it! Roberto and Felicia are a lovely retired Italian couple running this business with love. Every morning we were offered something slightly different for breakfast, and they do lunch and dinner in their kitchen, with tasty homemade Italian and Dominican food. They also know all the info about how to get around and where to go in this area. They have a lovely dog called Seda that became our best friend during our stay. The room is spacious with two double bed, equipped with two fans. And the pool is open 24/7! Felicia also offered us delicious Italian desserts 🍮 to taste. The local girl (sorry did not get to know her name) who worked there is super sweet and always smiling, you can tell that they all love what they do :) If I come back to Las Galéras, I’d definitely stay here again! Almost nothing really. The wifi is a bit weak but that’s very common in this city. For people with limited mobility, there is a bit of climb to get to the property. I was nursing a hip injury so walking up the hill carrying my luggage was a bit tough.

• Lisa (9/5): Fantastische Lage & Aussicht - Die Aussicht inklusive Pool ist traumhaft. Das Ehepaar ist super freundlich und zaubert tolles Essen (sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen). Der einzige Aspekt sind die Matratzen, die sind leider etwas unbequem. Ansonsten alles top.

Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Gastgeber: Das Ehepaar ist unglaublich herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben Silvester gemeinsam gefeiert und getanzt – es hat sich wie ein zweites Zuhause angefühlt. Auch kulinarisch wurden wir verwöhnt; das Frühstück und Abendessen waren hervorragend. Ein weiteres Highlight sind die versteckten Traumstrände, die man bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!“

• Itxasne (9/5): Paraíso - Sitio muy bonito y tranquilo. El desayuno espectacular, casero y muy rico. La piscina era una maravilla y los anfitriones nos explicaron todo muy bien. Por decir algo, solo había fría en la ducha.

Ontbijt is elke morgen een feest. Felizia tovert de lekkerste gerechten uit haar keuken met een Dominicaans- Italiaanse toets. Op mijn verjaardag hebben ze een bbq georganiseerd, een chocolade taart gebakken en hebben we gedanst en gezongen. Vanuit het verblijf kan je te voet naar verschillende Playas. We zijn er meer dan een week verbleven omdat we geen afscheid konden nemen van dit paradijsje Niets

• Jose Manuel (9/5): Gran estancia en Las Galeras - El desayuno es completísimo. Además dispone de una Infinity pool desde la que hay grandes vistas. Felicia y Roberto son unos grandes anfitriones, nos ayudaron en todo momento. El acceso al alojamiento por un camino de unos 200 m sin asfalto, para el que hace falta un todoterreno. No hay agua caliente para ducharse.

• Berenice (1/5): Bad - The view was beautiful and peaceful there surrounded by nature. I have no idea how this place is labelled as "wonderful" here on Booking. For starters the road is really bad to make it there , about 70 % of the road is really rocky and hard to walk, but that's not all the road has no lights whatsoever so for me I was by myself without a vehicle , I walked in the dark for about 10 minutes all the way to make it to the top and I was terrified, very dark and solitary then when I arrived to my room there were two big spiders inside the bathroom, there was no water and I just started crying, I was so sad , I then found the owner all the way down by the pool area and his wife went back to my room with Baygon and just sprayed it all over the place to get rid off the spiders, the water pump had been turned off by the owner I have no idea why, and he did it again the next day in the afternoon, he turned off the water and I had to use the bathroom and there was no water again, oh btw there is not HOT water, the breakfast was not good for someone like me that eats healthy but I guess you get what you paid for 🤷🏻‍♀️. The front door lock didn't work the owner had to find a screwdriver and nails to fix it late at night. Oh there was no wifi on day of my birthday or a place open to get minutes, since it was a holiday , the owner gave me some excuse about the network being saturated but there were other wifis in the area that were working. Omg I WOULD NEVER GO BACK. Beautiful view from the hill but definitely not worth it or even safe for a woman solo traveler like me. I even wanted to ask for my money back for the next day and leave. Horrible.
