• Stanley (9/5): Friendly Owner, big comfortable apartment , sketchy and dicey neighborhood - The communication I stayed 4 nights. The owner communicated with me well a couple of days before arrival and on the day of arrival. She met me in front of the building. As my flight was delayed by 3 hours on my departure day, she allowed me to leave my luggages there. The Building I entered a not so well lit scrungy , dilapidated interior stairwell with an ancient elevator . On my departure day, I saw 2 people mopping the stairwell. so it is cleaned. We took the elevator and it costs 10 cents . The owner Ambra provided 7 - ten cents , exactly enough for 3.5 round trips as she paid for the first trip up. It is on the 3rd floor so it isn’t too bad walking up. The building has 4 others AirBnB so many strangers walk in and out. On the first day I went out to buy groceries. After I came back, I couldn’t remember where is the apartment . I only remember 3rd floor but is the ground floor zero or first floor ? I tried to open the wrong apartment door and someone inside opened it and told me it was the wrong apartment . There is no sign on the front of the door ( the door that faces the elevator). Once you open the first door then you can see the name of this apartment. Ambra’s apartment is huge , well lit with high ceiling and a ceiling fan. It has sofa and microwave. There are a 3 low shelves that my head has a tendency to hit. There are many books . There are many coffee packages. I am allowed to use the washer after 8 pm. There is laundry detergent a drying rack is provided. The clothes dried overnight with the back windows opened. Ambra offered a lot of tips on where to go and where to eat. The apartment is big enough for 4 persons easily. The neighborhood I arrived at the Alibus station at Piazza Garibaldi . I stayed in the same neighborhood just 10 days earlier. It has a lot of immigrants of all colors. The area is quite iffy , dirty, dog poo poo, like many inner cities Italy quite chaotic with many cars, scooters and pedestrians. About 3 minutes and 3 blocks away at 3:45 pm ( in broad daylight) before arriving at the apartment, I witnessed a robbery. Two elderly white women and an elderly white man were walking in front of me after crossing the street. Of a sudden one woman screamed while her head got pulled down. Then a dark skin person looked up , paused a split second and ran away.. The woman turned around and told me her gold necklace was gone. Caution advised.
• Joseph (10/5): - Any traveler knows that a host who cares about your stay is gold. Ambra was wonderful - attentive, available, and very helpful in every way. She clearly loves her city and wants you to enjoy it and experience its culture. The place itself is quite large, conveniently located, and completely clean. Top recommendation. The stairway in the building is not clean, but there is an elevator, so mostly you can avoid it. And I was happy to be in the middle of the action, but if you are seeking a quiet neighborhood, you should go elsewhere.

• Oksana (10/5): - Просторная, очень чистая, оборудованная всем необходимым для комфортной жизни квартира. Чай, кофе, сахар - об этом также можно не думать - все в неограниченном количестве. Средства для душа. Монетки для пользования лифтом - квартира на третьем этаже. (Мне лифт понадобился только при отъезде). Очень радушная хозяйка - Амбра. Встретила, все рассказала, приготовила буклеты для посещения интересных мест. Перед выездом ждал сюрприз с неаполитанскими сладостями - очень приятно. Спасибо за комфортный прием!
• Monika (10/5): - Wszytko! Mieszkanie jest ciche mimo położenia w centrum, przestronne i wygodne. Wyposażenie full- kawiarka z pyszna kawa, w łazience wszystko co trzeba. Gospodarz udostępnia żetony do windy (winda jest, ale platna), natomiast wejscie na 3 piętro nie stanowi większego wyzwania;) Lokalizacja idealna, mniej niż 10 min od dworca, ok 10-15 min od ważniejszych miejsc w Neapolu (podziemia, muzeum archeologiczne itp) . Wlascicielka przemiła, dostałyśmy nawet ciastka :) wszytsko super

• Bruce (10/5): Naples is an incredible destination and this apartment is the perfect place to experience it from. - The apartment was an ocean of peace and calm in the midst of the chaos of Naples old town. Very well appointed and the host Ambra was terrific! She met us with a very useful introduction to all that there is to see and do in Naples. We followed most of her suggestions. And really enjoyed to local cakes she supplied later in our week! Perfect location for seeing most of Naples on foot, and easy access to trains and ferries for trips further afield.

• Dimitrios (10/5): great place to enjoy Napoli - Beautiful spacious, bright apartment with high ceilings and very comfortable bed, large fully equipped kitchen with free espresso machine, great location, close to everything, gracious hostess. The elevator got stuck a couple of times but I guess this is common in old buildings, not a big deal.

• Ryan (10/5): Pleasant stay - visited Amalfi Coast and Pompeii from Naples - The host was pleasant. She let us check in early and check out late which was very nice. She explained sites to see on our stay. The lock and keys were sometimes hard to manipulate but we figured it out.

• Papanikolaou (10/5): - Πολύ άνετο διαμέρισμα, καθαρό, απόλυτα ήσυχο στον 3ο όροφο με ασανσέρ. Είναι στο ιστορικό κέντρο αλλά και πολύ κοντά στο κεντρικό σταθμό τρένων(10 λεπτά περπάτημα) από όπου φεύγουν τα τρένα για Πομπηία, Σορέντο και Σαλέρνο. Επίσης κοντά στο σταθμό μετρό Duomo (5 λεπτά με τα πόδια). Η Abra πολύ ευγενική. Μας σημείωσε σε χάρτη όλα τα σημεία που πρέπει κανείς να επισκεφτεί στη Νάπολη και μας έφερε και ένα κουτί με γλυκά. Επίσης επειδή η πτήση επιστροφής μας έφευγε 6 το πρωί και έπρεπε να πάρουμε ταξί για το αεροδρόμιο στις 4, μας έκανε κράτηση με την προκαθορισμενη τιμή που ισχύει και όλα πήγαν τέλεια. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ!

As it is typical in Naples, the neighborhood and the building can appear a little difficult, but it's what it is in Naples center. The apartment is renovated, and not noisy. Close to city center and train station.

• Ben (9/5): The best host ever, a lovely apartment, very well looked after. - Ambra the host was just wonderful! She changed her plans to meet us for an early check in which was so helpful. She showed us around her lovely apartment and gave us a good intro to all the local attractions, how to get around, and fantastic restaurant recommendations which were all great! She bought us local cakes which were fabulous. The property is lovely with gorgeously high ceilings, a good kitchen, lots of coffee for the machine and having a smart TV is so useful so you can sign in to your Netflix etc for a chilled night after wondering around all day. The property was great, and we were so well looked after. Naples is a ‘vibrant’ city, so do your research on each area and where you would like to stay. It’s a walkable city so easy to get to all the different areas.
• Mark (10/5): A home away from home - A spacious, clean, comfortable home near to all transport and central Naples. Ambra was helpful and informative. If there was anything extra you needed from your stay, she was there to help. Would recommend to anybody.
• Mkak (10/5): excellent stay - The apartment is very clean and located very close to both the historic center and the central station as well as Napoli Porta Nolana station(to Pompei/Herculaneum scavi). The window in the kitchen is on the courtyard side and the bedroom on the street side , but very quiet once the window are closed. The owner is very generous to let us check in earlier even if she has a work because we arrived in Napoli much earlier than the check-in time. She also gave us a good napolitan cakes which we love to eat.
• Cg (10/5): Authentic-local-in.the.middle.of.the.action-place! - My husband and I came to visit. This is what we liked: It is a large apartment within the old city historic center close to the action & many sites. It's very close to the train station if you want to visit Herculaneum or Pompeii (you can buy tickets €3.60 each way). The funicular & busses are €1.40. The place has everything you need, the host meets you personally & provides personal tourist information which was very nice. She also got us local sweets and had some food & spices for our use. The coffee machine and coffee supplied is fantastic. Anything we needed, she provided such as a drying rack. She has a smart TV in the bedroom with Neflix, youtube and other stuff to watch in your language. The place is really quiet and the bedroom has darkening mode too! She ordered a taxi for 5am to the airport so we didn't have to stress about that. The pictures are true to the place. Building has an elevator. The apartment itself is super clean. Extra towels provided. Has a washing machine. Has towel/paper products & shampoo/soap. The host's attentiveness is AMAZING! and the apartment has everything you will need for a short or long stay (including lots of umbrellas)! We came in early February. The kitchen area and bathroom was a bit cold but the bedroom/sofa/TV area was nicely warmed by the aircon. Just know you are in the old area of Naples in an old building. It is a great place to have an AUTHENTIC experience, lovely people but do not be surprised about the litter & graffiti that is all over the streets. It is part of the charm!

• Lilliane (10/5): Full of Amenities Apt in Naples - 70m to Pizzeria Michele - Everything! House is big and clean and full of amenities: A/C, blankets, unlimited espresso! tv, washing machine, elevator, coins for elevator. The location is at the center and around the corner of the famous L’atica Pizzeria da Michele and many other pizzerias that are just as yummy! Also walking distance to all the most important streets of Naples. Ambra is a super host! super sweet and helpful and responsive! This place is 100% recommendable for Naples visitor. Just that hot water is temperamental - minor !

It is centrally-located and also close to the central station and a metro station (Duomo). Wifi connection was good. -

The apartament was huge, everything in it was spotless and modern. You will get a very good sense of Napolitano life staying there. The host was absolutely delightful. She even let us check out a few hours later because we had an afternoon flight. Thank you Ambra for a wonderful stay!! Not at all related to the host or the apartment (which, again, were a 10), but it's worth knowing that the area is very busy outside (cars and people on scooters everywhere), a lot of trash laying around in the street and the building itself is also not too well maintained. However, none of that will bother you while you are inside the apartment.
