• Angela (3/5): Disappointing experience, overpriced and under delivered. - The initial style and decor of the property were notable upon arrival. Our recent stay at this Airbnb left much to be desired. While the property initially appears charming, the reality of our experience fell short in several ways. Firstly, upon arrival, it was immediately evident that the property had not been adequately cleaned. We questioned whether it had been vacuumed at all, raising concerns about the overall cleanliness standards. The lack of a working oven was a significant inconvenience, made worse by the complete lack of response when we sought assistance regarding this issue. This oversight severely impacted our ability to prepare meals as planned. Furthermore, the sleeping arrangements were uncomfortable. The bed felt as hard as concrete, and the pillows might as well have been boulders. This, coupled with the loud noises emanating from both the air conditioning and the roof tiles, made it difficult to get a decent night's sleep. The air conditioning situation was equally frustrating. With the unit only able to be changed at the top of the stairs. Additionally, the stringent rubbish removal policy, with the threat of a hefty fine for any oversight, added unnecessary stress to our stay. This, combined with what we felt was an unjustifiably high price tag, left us feeling like we paid a premium for subpar accommodations. While the property may be aesthetically pleasing at first glance, its functionality and service leave much to be desired. We would caution potential guests to consider these shortcomings before booking, as our experience suggests it may not be worth the expense for the level of comfort and service received.
