Our toddler thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and exploring the rest of the farm. We enjoyed the bbq and eating at the outside table. It was lovey that there was a nice spacious and safe back yard for our toddler to play. Nothing

- Janice (10/5): Relaxing, peaceful and just what our family needed to get out of the hustle n hustle and back to nature, family, animals - Everything! What a stunning place and Miriam was a lovely host, very kind, upbeat and available for any request. There wasn’t a thing I could fault!
- Oliver (10/5): Wilindi Estate was the perfect family retreat and Farmer Mim made it even more memorable. - Location was perfect - very peaceful and just a short drive to local shops, activities and wineries.
- Cherry (10/5): relax and pleasant - We had a wonderful stay at Miriam's place! The cottage was cozy and spotless, providing the perfect home base for our trip. Our kids had a blast swimming in the pool on the hot days. The highlight of our visit was the farm tour. We learned about animal communication and heard some heartwarming stories about them. Spending time with the pigs, goats, ponies, horses, and chickens was such a treat—they’re all so gentle and friendly. We also loved reading about Miriam’s story; her kind heart truly inspired our kids. In fact, they started missing the little ponies as soon as we left! It was a relaxing stay for us parents and an unforgettable farm experience for the kids.
- Jingyi (9/5): The best family holiday experience in Melbourne! You will learn to respect and listen to animals. - We stayed there as we wanted my son to interact with animals. We actually got more than we expected! Farmer Mim is such a great teacher! My son learned to respect and listen to animals. He learned it is important to let animals sniff his hands before touching them, so the animals could get to know him.
My son enjoyed patting and observing all the animals liken goats, pony, 🐷 , chickens and the dog. He was excited to get the chicken eggs for us!
Farmer Mim gave a special book about her own story to Elon. We really appreciate it. All the animals were rescued by Mim. We are really touched by her kindness and dedication. It is really meaningful experience for families. Strongly recommended!
Here are vlogs of our farm holiday:

https://youtube.com/shorts/FqYZ6X-8AD4?si=Zwl-h5k4cfMJdVyt We are there for the animal experience, not the luxury hotel. The cottage is actually better than I expect. Super clean and modern! There is nothing we don’t like. Just remember to bring insect repellent as there are mosquitoes at night like all the Australian farms in summer.
- Geraldine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ira (10/5): Exceptional - The place was spacious, clean and tidy with a nice front yard. The owners truly love and care for their rescue animals and shared their stories with us.
- Matt (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (10/5): Can't wait to return... - The experience simply couldn't have been more perfect. Miriam and her team were beyond warm, welcoming and accommodating.
This, in combination with the spectacular setting and soothing horse farm environment, made for an absolutely idyllic stay.
The comfortable and kitted chalet and dedicated outside area made it all the more regretful that we weren't staying longer. Above all however, Wilindi Estate proved the perfect place to entertain my three young daughters, who now live in Tyabb. This was after all, the entire reason for the trip.
Bravo kind people. Thank you for making it a truly unforgettable experience - I will certainly be back.
- Ashlea (10/5): Immaculate farm stay. - Absolutely immaculate, perfect accommodation for families. Really comfy beds, every convenience you could want, every detail thought of. The heated pool was great for kids. The best part was the tour with Mim, she genuinely cares for her animals and explained the proper way to introduce yourself to them. We fell in love with the mini ponies in particular. Hospitality 10/10! Nothing.
- Brooke (10/5): A very relaxing & beautiful stay! - The beautiful hospitality from the host, the scenery, the relaxation energy & of course all of the beautiful animals!
- Gemma (10/5): Amazing farm stay, great for families - Great holiday with the family. Farmer Mim is a brilliant host and was great at getting children involved in interacting with the animal.s
- Hayley (10/5): Relaxing stay, wonderful one of a kind experience, we will be back! - Everything! Our host Miriam was extremely warm and welcoming. The cottage was very clean, private, comfortable and fully equipped. There is a rec room for the kids to play some ping pong and hang out. The grounds are beautiful and the heated pool was a hit with all. The best part of our stay was the farm tour. We met all the beautiful animals, and learned a lot about their behaviours and how to respect them. The hands on experience was nothing like I’ve had anywhere else. The animals actually wanted to say hello and spend time with us. And receiving hugs from the horses melted my heart. Nothing not to like.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Really enjoyed our stay at the property, Miriam was a fantastic host.
- Jun (10/5): Farm Charm Tranquility. - Adoring the close proximity to farm animals right outside our room; it's a joy for the kids. The added educational program teaches them kindness and care in handling the animals. The tranquility here is a refreshing contrast for us, city dwellers.
- Linh (10/5): Great place to stay with the a friend and our boys!!! - We love the cottage and pools, the entire farm, animals and owner was so welcoming :)) Nothing that we did not like.
- Rhiannon (10/5): We can't wait to come back ! - This was honestly the most beautiful place we have ever stayed as a family.
It was so perfect for my 2 year old, enclosed backyard, so safe, and the fake grass was such a good idea! He loves the surprise of a ball and soccer goals.
The pool and pool area is beautiful and always a great temp.
My son loved the HUGE trampoline and all the animals he could just walk around and pat anytime.
The accommodation was immaculate. It was as if no one had ever stayed there before.
The bedroom was so big and beautiful, the most comfortable bed we had ever slept in.
The bathroom was so big and the shower was amazing!
BBQ & fire pit outside, which is great, so much privacy also.
The TV with streaming channels was a saviour for our son
All in all, this place was just so perfect, and we will definitely be coming back, but for a longer stay!
- Mel (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean and very comfortable. Mim was amazing and the farm tour was informative and so much fun
- Maddison (10/5): We spent our wedding weekend here, I don’t think we would have chosen anywhere else and got the same result - It was very pretty Great fun for the kids to explore the farm and animals
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Raymond (10/5): Exceptional - Miriam was wonderful and her knowledge of animals was exceptional. We learned a lot about how animals think and react. The bungalow was really nice, and the farm was very beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely stay again when next in Melbourne.
- Danielle (10/5): Beautiful! Love that it’s an animal rescue recluse too! - The property is impeccably kept. Absolutely everything is thought of, even a foot stool for your kid to reach the basin, there is a little study table, comfortable lounge, very tasteful, thoughtful and beautifully fitted out, I especially loved the barn sliding door touch. You wake up to the orchestra of the birds. You drive in and are greeted by the beautiful 4 legged friendly faces. It is clean, comfortable and very relaxing place to be and love the happy rescued animals that surround you. Just beautiful. Didn’t like having to leave!
- Carien (9/5): Superb -
- Ooi (10/5): Lovely cottage for family - My 2nd time here. Lovely place for family to relax and spend time together. Located at the centre therefore easy access to most attractions in Mornington peninsula. Full of cooking facilities available at the cottage for guest to use. Very friendly and accommodative owner Nil
- Lili (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diego (10/5): Exceptional - I don't know where to start...
The cottage: perfect. Everything you need is there. New, clean and comfy.
The pool. Heated and very safe for kids. There are also games for kids with a great trampoline.
The farm. We were able to disconnect from the busy life in two hours. It is hard to describe the peace of the place, the energy that every animal in the farm radiates. It is so clear that the owner of the farm truly cares about animals and their well-being. The horses, ponies, chickens, goats, pig and the dog. They are all in perfect symphony that make you fit in and absorb the freshness and healthy life.
And the manager (and her daughter). Hands off it has been the first time a manager just truly cares. But not because she would ask us every minute if we needed anything. She will be in the farm and check on how we were if we were close by. She shared her knowledge about horses, about reading their body language, their energy, and all the good things horses have to offer. She shared about how we can respect animal so we can connect with them and get better experiences, better memories.
The whole family had an amazing time. Kids didn't wanted to come back (and so didn't adults).
Thanks Miriam, you made my birthday a one to remember for ever.

- Nur (10/5): Exceptional - Our favourite part of the stay had to be the farm tour. Especially getting hugs from the horses. We appreciated all the hard work that goes into taking care of the rescue animals. Very empowering knowing it is run by a family of passionate women and their dedication is admirable. Overall, very cosy, relaxing and inspiring. We were able to switch off from the norm. We didn’t want to go home to our busy lives. Thank you Wilinda Estate for the friendly hospitality. We will be back soon to make more connections and memories.
Ps. Hands down the comfiest beds and best hot shower.

- Retallick (9/5): Excellent property, in a beautiful part of Victoria… - Beautiful location. Hosts went over and above to cater for our stay, setting up balloons and streamers for a party, prior to our arrival. Nothing, beautiful property.
