Trish and Rod had thought of literally everything you would need in a holiday let, breakfast included as well as all picnic gear. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. • Jacquelyn (10/5): Family-friendly accommodation - Trish, our host, was wonderful to deal with. She was very welcoming from the very start. Trish was waiting to welcome us and show us around our accommodation. We only booked for one night as we were heading to the Beaconsfield mine for a visit the next day, It was definitely worth the visit. We spent over 2hrs there wandering around looking at the exhibits. Trish even washed our clothes and put them through the dryer for us! Very cosy accommodation, lovely surroundings. Our hosts, Trish and Rod, made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again.

EVERYTHING you could need or want is provided. Continental breakfast also provided. We have a lovely, quiet & comfortable stay. The Trish & Rod are amazing people. Loved our chats. Studio is so close to attractions and places to eat. • Anne (10/5): Great place to relax in comfort and has what you need. - This is a very large studio with a bed for two and a bed for one. If you need privacy there is a privacy screen to use. Nothing is missing from this place. In fact, it has more than my own kitchen at home has. Lots of pillows, linens, appliances, and a big flat screen TV with netflix. This was the end of a 2 1/2 month trip for us so it was perfect to hang out in comfort. Walking distance to town for food or groceries. Very comfortable. Can sometimes hear very quiet footsteps from upstairs but very quiet. I cannot think of anything that could make it better other than the beautiful turquoise sofa is quite soft and not as comfy for me but it is beautiful to look at but that could be just my body.
• Anne (10/5): Top value for money, and a great comfortable place to stay, you won’t want to leave! - Our Studio Apartment was absolutely beautiful, with all you could possibly want and more! Trish’s attention to every detail is beyond what you would be expecting, and there is so much character to the decore! Her styling is so charming and you immediately feel relaxed and at home here! The bed was so comfortable … the shower hot and gushy… and everything was so shiny and clean! Also it was lovely eating brekky out on the undercover patio, and you can walk into town to the IGA’s (they have 2)… and not use the car! On top of all that … Trish and Rod are two of the nicest, friendliest, kindest and most hospitable people you could ever wish to meet! There is nothing we didn’t like!

• John (10/5): A one night stopover to tour the mine museum and surrounds. Other attractions on the day of arrival. - This accommodation is on the ground floor and at least the size of half a house. Very spacious and with all the comforts of home including Netflix, well stocked pantry, many condiments, cooking facilities, fruit bowl, milk, bread, breakfast cereals and more. Knowing when we would arrive, the landlord had the air conditioner running so the room was a good temperature. Close to the main town, mine museum and Beauty Point for the Sea Horse Farm, Platypus and echidna exhibitions. Hosts Chris and Rob were welcoming and very hospitable. Nothing.

A myriad of ‘extras’ made our stay very comfortable and easy … from the breakfast and foodstuffs provided to the facilities available for use. The location was ideal as we spent a good part of one day at the mine and heritage museum and also found it convenient to explore other areas on the Tamar.

One slight tip would be to add some labels to the kitchen cupboard/drawers for contents ie plates, mugs etc. but that is really just nit picking. Really didn’t impact the stay. More just gave us a laugh searching for the correct cupboard.

• Elizabeth (9/5): Good place to stay in Northern Tasmania - Good location, walking distance to local shops and 40 minutes drive from Launceston. The apartment is comfortable with everything you need for a few days stay. I rented the place for my parents while they were visiting us, and they enjoyed their stay. We will definitely rent it again My parents mentioned they didn't have a washing machine, but I didn't ask the owners about it either, so I can't confirm there wasn't one available. Something to ask about later.
