- GARETH (7/5): Pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel but it’s a one and done for me - Clean throughout, rooms good standard and bed was very comfortable. My favorite club pool area was quiet and relaxed. Food in general was good Apart from the cleaners and grounds people who were very pleasant the reception and bar staff were generally not so.

- Paula (8/5): We will be back! - Perfect apartment layout for a family of 5. Extremely clean, great location. Staff were fabulous. Pools well kept and a good variety of daily & nightly entertainment. Would definitely stay again. We enjoyed the all inclusive buffet in general but we have some fussy eaters so we went out for food on a few occasions.

Nichts
- bernardgX7602RG (10/5): Very relaxing hotel with great ambiance. - Excellent ambiance, first class staff, great food quality and choice, recommended !! Good value, rooms and all areas very clean.
- edwardwQ4842VC (10/5): Our super holiday - We stayed at this hotel several years ago (it was a different company then) and enjoyed it so decided on a return visit. However, over the past few months since booking with British Airways Holidays, we started to become somewhat anxious as so many reviews were negative.
I rarely write reviews - but decided on this occasion that I should…to balance many of the comments.
We stayed in the My Favourite section. It was wonderful and greatly improved since our previous holiday.
We breakfasted and lunched most days in the My Favourite buffet near to the pool. The selection and quality of food was excellent.
Almost every evening we dined in the My Favourite section restaurant. The food was amazingly good. Each morning we’d make a point of visiting the doorway to see what delicious courses would be on the menu that evening! Afterward dinner we’d adjourn upstairs to the bar which was a super place to chill out.
The biggest asset the hotel has is the team running it. The management should be really proud of their staff who are all, without exception, friendly, helpful and professional.
My only worry about writing this review is that it may result in many more people staying at the hotel and there being no room next time we want to book!
- H1567DLsarahb (10/5): Amazing animation team best holiday in fuerteventura - This hotel far outreached my expectations. The rooms were big we had a 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were kept clean and towels replenished every day.
The evening entertainment was superb! Each night was different and they showcased alot of talent.
The food was good and had loads of variety in the main restaurant. The only improvement here would be the snack bar to change the main menu as burgers and pasta everyday was not what I wanted.
The best thing about the holiday was the animation team. They made us feel included in every activity and even made sure we were enjoying ourselves when not participating. What really stood out for me was upon my arrival I notified the animation team of my pregnancy that refrained me from participating in the water polo and volleyball, but they were very accommodating and encouraged me to join in and do exercises that were suitable for me. The animation team really made this holiday very special for me! Thank you to you all xx
- Johanna712 (10/5): Lovely comfortable hotel, very friendly and helpful staff - My partner and I had a great time at the Alua Suites. Our junior suite was comfortable, the hotel is pretty, there are lots of pools and the hotel staff are friendly and so helpful. I'm a vegetarian and could always find food to eat. The only thing that wasn't so good was the reflexology - that was pretty disappointing and felt like a waste of money, so I'd avoid that! Otherwise excellent.
- gaildI2606ZR (10/5): Perfect holiday! - I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We've visited twice in the last two years, so last week was our third visit, and this time we went with our son, his wife and our 2 year old granddaughter. They loved it as much as we do! Our granddaughter loved the evening children's entertainers, and the children's day room is fabulous, really well stocked, and a wide range of activities are available.
The rooms are very spacious and very clean. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic. The size of the bed is huge! Everywhere is so clean. Room cleaning staff are friendly and do a brilliant job. The quality of the food is fantastic. The eating areas are smart and clean.
- debrajO2441PK (4/5): 2 weeks away - Arrived at the hotel.
Greeted by reception team.
We had asked for on high floor room away from the road in a quiet area.
We were given ground floor room, next to the road and looking out at the children's playground area.
We asked to change room and was informed that the hotel was full. Told to ask later in the week. The answer was still the same, hotel full.
Room was nice. Filthy mattress very stained with various bodily fluids. Picture taken and shown to reception team. Towels changed daily
Food was like warm on most occasions. Good job there was a microwave to heat food up. A la carte restaurant just edible
Grounds lovely but not enough working lighting around the grounds.
Pools cold.
Entertainment in the evening was good. Team work hard
Poor drinks choice for all inclusive options.
All staff work hard and friendly. We found the reception team unfriendly.
Never saw jet2 rep at the hotel.
Would not go back to this hotel
- SagaloutsTour (10/5): Great Place To Chill Out - Fairly centrally located in a quiet area, a 15 minute walk to The Campanile Shopping Centre an about 20-25 minutes to the main town and harbour.
We booked this holiday through Jet2 and were allocated a My Favourite Club Suite, which we would thoroughly recommend. The club is located just outside the main Hotel area, has keycard entry and is adults only. You have a restaurant and bar within the grounds which serves breakfast and lunch. The menu is more limited than the main buffet restaurant , but is quite adequate for both times, plus your own pool area with excellent adequate sunbeds and seating.
The suites are well appointed, very peaceful, well furnished and allow you to have a great night's sleep.
You have access to a quiet area within the main buffet restaurant, which gives you more choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition, you also have exclusive access to My Favourite Club restaurant, located in the same area as the main buffet restaurant.
It's self service buffet for starters, desert and cheese, but you have a choice of 3 mains, which are served at your table. One meat course, or one fish course or one Vegetarian course. There is also an altenernative selection of buffet choices, instead of and in addition to them. Again it's a much quieter atmosphere.
The food quality is very good and the service excellent. My only suggestion for the chef, is to serve the accompanying sauces in a separate jug, so you can choose how much, if any sauce you require.
All the staff without exception are happy to be there and give excellent service, this enimates from the management team who are very visula throughout the hotel.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, especially the "My Favourite Club" and will certainly return
- openwide88 (6/5): There’s good and there’s could be better - We checked in around 19.30 and were shown our room on a map, then were left to find our own way there, along with our cases. Our room was clean and spacious, but our double was actually 2 single beds pushed together, with single bed linen on each. Very odd in my opinion. The following day we discovered our balcony overlooked the activity pool, so not the quiet space we’d hoped for. Towels and bedding changed whenever we asked, so no problems there.
The food was typical all inclusive fare - you could always find something to eat, but it was a bit hit and miss, with some days better than others. Breakfast was by far the best. All the staff we encountered in the restaurant were friendly.
The bar off reception has a very small indoor seating area, with most of the seating outside. It was cold in the evenings, so we opted for indoor seating. Special mention for the bar man Sebastian, a lovely man, who recommended we try Pacharan - we loved it, and we did manage to find a bottle in duty free.
The walk into Corralejo centre is about 25 minutes, and we did this most days. We preferred to stay out of the centre, so the Alua was a good choice.
- Pauline (8/5): Ok….not a 4 star in my opinion - The pools were beautiful Our suite was very far away from the pools and the bar and restaurants. We were told we had an upgrade….it was a two bedroom suite, for a couple, miles from amenities. In future I will remember an upgrade may not an upgrade. We didn’t need two rooms. I would have preferred one room closer to the pools etc.
- Claire (10/5): I would definitely go back there again, this time for a longer stay. - We found the staff so helpful and pleasant from housekeeping staff through to management. Food was excellent, IMHO, a great selection of hot and cold foods, and cleanliness was maintained, again in IMHO, to a high standard. As it was a short stay, I cannot comment honestly.
- neiltI8624AX (6/5): Not 4 star - I know this goes against what a lot of reviews say, but this is a true reflection of our experience,
Gardens well kept
Suites clean but old, great balcony ( we were in MFC )
Food was pretty good
Pools clean
Bars were more of a counter than an actual bar and totally lacked any ambiance, weird seating areas
Reception staff brilliant, MFC restaurant staff a couple weeks great but with some of them it was obvious they did not like either guests or their job.
Entertainment was pretty good but where it wasnt great in my opinion
The al a carte restaurant was awful food and ambiance decor etc
- tismee (10/5): Great experience - Had a brilliant stay room was lovely with pool view very clean in fact the whole place was exceptionally clean enjoyed sitting on patio overlooking the pool .staff were very friendly and helpful great choice of food at lunch and evening we can't fault it and will definitely be going back - thank you to all at Alua suites for a wonderful holiday
- Marino (10/5): -
- Lesley (9/5): Had a lovely five night stay . - Very clean and staff very good
- stevenpT9326ER (8/5): Birthday trip - Good resort, the staff are very good. Food was good and varied, entertainment in the evening was surprisingly fun. I would definitely visit again.
- Discover66528140298 (8/5): Girls trip - Lovely atmosphere on the evening and during the day at the resort. There is plenty of places to eat throughout the day such as buffet and pool bar. Additionally there is a à la carte restaurant that is availble as part of the all inclusive that can be booked on certain days in the morning. I highly recommend this as it was lovely!
- Navigate68103639271 (6/5): Week holiday , wouldn't return - Room dated but clean . Food not very good very slow to replenish food . Restaurant staff not very helpful
Pool areas nice and hotel kept very clean in public areas
- R3397VWdavidp (8/5): Good family base - Lovely clean hotel, staff really helpful the weather was not great meaning sitting in the outside are for entertainment was not really an option
- jgeoghegan (6/5): Average hotel - Grounds are nice, well maintained. Stayed in the MFC. Lots of sunbeds although weather not sunny most of the time we were there.
Room clean and fresh. Bit dated. Cleaned daily. However a half dead cockroach fell from the AC unit not long after we arrived which freaked me out somewhat. The next day found another one. Reported to reception. Didn’t dare put the AC unit on after that. Luckily it was on the cool side especially in the evenings.
Balcony looked onto a derelict tennis court, what a waste letting it going to ruin.
Breakfast and lunch we mainly had in the MFC club bar which was fine. In the evenings we went to the MFC restaurant. Food nothing special. Pork, fish or vegetable dish for mains
Not tasty quite bland. Ate out a few times as got bored with the menu.
Freezing at the evening entertainment, don’t know why the indoor theatre wasn’t used.
3 star complex definitely not 4 star.
Underwhelmed overall
- O7109WBdanielj (10/5): Best hotel ever - One of the most best places I have been on holiday the Atmosphere is really good with good location. The entertainment team are awesome and always make your day.
- karenaG4970ET (10/5): Great place. - Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice for food and drink. Check out their app that tells you all the drinks you can have with all inclusive. It also gives details of the entertainment and opening times of bars and restaurants. We found the app really helpful. Rooms were big and comfy. We were in rooms in the far corner with a pool which was perfect for us and kept us well away from kids pool and playing area. Handy little shop we used a few times. We would definitely go again. Have a go on the scooters that are parked outside near the supermarket, great fun. Also at the end of the road you will see a pathway to the beach and you can stroll to corralejo. Much better than the way Google maps told us.
Only one gripe was the food and not being very hot. But they don't deserve to lose a star over that because in all food was good and plentiful.
- Jacqueline (9/5): -
- tinabP877YA (8/5): Holiday - Just got back today after 7 nights. The hotel was fine staff were all pleasant. Rooms cleaned everyday. Food although not hot enough was good plenty of choice nobody should go hungry. Air con wasn't working although they did fix it. My mattress was really hard. Also I think there should be a mirror in place of the picture over the table. All in all considering how bad the weather was we enjoyed our stay.
- Girlygirl2023 (2/5): Not a 4 star - Listed as a 4star hotel but it’s merely 2-3 star at most and I wouldn’t call it a hotel more an apartment complex offering all inclusive. Can’t get premium drinks all inclusive ,you have to pay for those. Food at breakfast was decent but lunch and dinner just so so. Junior suite was ok , basic no luxe. No iron in room. Grounds lovely to be fair and good few pools. No proper nice bar to chill in , only the bar at reception . If you want nice atmosphere in evening for a drink downtown you go.
- WrexhamPaul (10/5): Fantastic winter sun - From our delayed arrival at midnight to the moment we left a fantastic experience for the family.
Room; was large, clean, tidy and in good condition, with housekeeping tidying everyday. The only negative was having my 3 ladies all with long hair, but only 2 large towels and 2 small ones, but reception handed extra towels without question.
Pool areas; can't fault them, pool was clean, lifeguards on all of them and the water in the main pool was warm (bit cold in the other ones for a February!). Entertainment team worked hard during the day and there were always sunbeds available.
Meals; we enjoyed all the food, I am a "try anything" type of person, but kids can be tricky, however, they enjoyed their pancakes and waffles and yogurts in the morning and always had choices to eat at lunch and dinners.
All inclusive; enough premium / branded spirits and San Miguel until 11pm. The red and rose wines were decent too. Main restaurant for 3 meals a day, plus the pool/snack bar for light lunches, snacks, with pastries and cakes in the late afternoon.
Staff; everyone we dealt with was top notch, polite and helpful. Francis and Omar were fabulous and a pleasure to deal with.
Location; far enough away, but close enough to walk into Corralejo, especially along the beach. 7-8€ into town and 5€ back to the Alua.
Our parents have now been 3 times and we have now been once since Covid. We are all looking to come back next winter.
- 696julieanns (4/5): 3 star hotel not luxe 4 star - Asked for a quiet room on arrival and by e mail ended up above the shop woken up every morning at 6.45 as it opened then the hotel is a 3 star hotel not 4 stat Luxe as described by Jet 2 drinks and food very poor quality I couldn’t get fresh orange juice at the bars told only for breakfast and lunch food lukewarm and not replenished even a microwave in the main dining room as soup was lukewarm so not fresh rude aggressive staff telling you to queue up there were queues for every thing even your morning coffee we were in the my favourite club the pool area was nice but the rest of the service and food and drinks badly let this hotel down we returned home early as fed up with the situation I would not recommend this hotel and need to advise others not to waste there hard earned cash and time be aware folks
- D6074ZLmatthewl (8/5): Great Holiday at Alua Suites Despite the Weather - My fiancée and I spent 7 nights at Alua Suites and had a great trip. Our Junior Suite was spacious, well-equipped, and had a lovely balcony. The hotel’s location is excellent — just a few minutes from the beach and around a 15-minute walk to the town. Taxis are also very cheap if you’d prefer not to walk.
The food and drinks were good overall with plenty of choice, and the staff and entertainment were both great. We’d definitely recommend booking the à la carte restaurant during your stay if possible — the food and service there were excellent.
Despite not having the best weather during our stay, we still had a fantastic time at Alua Suites and would happily recommend it.
- isobelh358 (10/5): Great holiday! - Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The complex is lovely and spotless as are the rooms albeit our bathroom was dated it was still fine. We reckoned this was the best AI we have been to because of the food choice and quality - we always found something tasty to eat. Great atmosphere in the Spot bar -bar staff were great and so entertaining. Already looking at booking for next winter.

- Fallon (7/5): Pleasant - The staff were fabulous Too far from sea
- Monk (7/5): Fuertoventura stay - Nice area and facilities Food wasn't great
- Vivian (10/5): Amazing - Everyone was so friendly. Food was excellent and room was beautiful Everything was great

(+) Simpatia do Sr. Kepa (F&B), fenomenal!
- Lesley (9/5): We had a lovely stay and staff can’t do enough for you . - Very central

- Mar (3/5): Delusione.
Scarafaggi in camera.
Lampadine bruciate e mai sostituite.
Sapone mancante.
- marl2026 (6/5): MY FAVOURITE CLUB UPGRADE IS A RIP OFF!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!! - The room is nice size and cleaned everyday. We are vegan and the choice in the main Terra restaurant is great, in fact better than MFC. We only upgraded to the My Favourite Club for the alegedly "heated" swimming pool, which is freezing cold. I paid 360 Euro for 10 days upgrade access only, and only swam twice, so it was a clear rip off, I should have asked for my money back! I even spoke with the Reception Mgr Mr Cesar Alvarez, who promised to speak with the right people to adjust the pool water temperature but nothing happened. We paid over £5 K for 2 weeks holiday here, with Xmas and NY dinner included, but it wasn't worth this much money. The hotel mgmt can ring all the bells and whistles but if they don't heat the "heated" pool then they are missing a trick. I would have not come to this hotel , had I known it. I called reception before booking with Easyjet Hols. We came here 10 years ago and the MFC pool was hot as a Spa. Needless to say, we will NOT return!
- X8329QTstuarth (2/5): Poor - Staff good hotel has gone downhill over the last few years. The hottest thing in the restaurant is the plate. Rooms needs revamping
- Anna (9/5): - Bardzo dobrze nam się tam odpoczywało. Super jedzenie, fajne animacje, personel zorientowany na klienta. Dobre drinki, pyszna prawdziwa Sangria, tematyczne jedzenie bardzo dobre. Przyjazny personel w recepcji.
- Rachel (5/5): Not value for money - gone downhill - This was a revisit for us . The heated pool remains a feature for a Xmas holiday . On our last visit they had wine by the bottle at breakfast some days and everyday at the pool buffet .
In all areas now it’s tap wine . Horrid - terrible quality .
Also , the buffet is only just passable now and there is no tennis.
It meant we ate out a lot at extra expense and paid for sport elsewhere.
The food was cold and they kept running out of plates.
You have to queue each day to try to get a table at the speciality restaurant. It’s ridiculous because unless you are the first few in the queue you don’t get a table and have to queue the next day .
- stephenhL7934FD (8/5): Christmas at the Alua Suites - Recently returned from the Alua Suites. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. Staying in the adults area we were allocated a superbly located suite that overlooked the pool but remained very private. We dined in the My favourite club each evening, food very average, with limited options. We had breakfast and lunch at the Fancy Bar, not a wide choice but more than adequate for the time of day. Entertainment good with some excellent performers just a shame the weather in the evenings was a little on the cold side.
My big negative was the lack of enforcement towards the dress code in the evening. The website clearly stipulates gentleman must wear long trousers and a shirt with a collar. I witnessed over our 10 nights, people entering with shorts, t-shirts and some with sandals. Nothing was said to these people on entry.
- nc1171 (4/5): PUT SIMPLY - POOR! - Poor food (bland, cold, poor quality), designed only for kids/young families, tired rooms and worst of all extremely noisy because of terrible evening entertainment. God know how this is 4-star. It's a Premier Inn near the beach at best. Very disappointed and won't return.
- W4654ATheatherk (10/5): Does not disappoint. - What can I say but absolutely fantastic. Alua Suites is in a beautiful location close to the beach and a short walk into the main town.
The staff, food and facilities and rooms were superb.
Very clean and plenty of sunbeds and many pools to choose from.
Special thanks to Gio on the entertainment team who just made us laugh all the time and was great fun.
The evening entertainment was also very good.
Will definitely return to this hotel.
- Mahesh (9/5): Excellent stay with lots to do - Nice and spacious Table tennis was outdoors
- Rowandgyju (6/5): Average if you don't mind Average - 3rd time coming away at Christmas booking through Jet2. Can say this comes 3rd in experience. Food is ok or passable, pretty much same every night. Breakfast is better. Towels cost a returnable deposit of20 euros, but can only change once on weeks holiday. And only change between 10 and 1. Grounds are well maintained, and rooms have plenty of space. Just overall feeling is average place.
- Rachel12000 (6/5): Return visit - Pros:
One of the pools is actually heated and pleasant
Not impossible to get sun lounger
Great gala Xmas dinner event
Cleaners do a good job
Good omelettes for breakfast
Friendly international guests
Staff are hard working
Cons:
Last time we came they had a selection of wine, and available in bottles. This won us over last time. However this is no longer the case . You only have options of red , white and rose from a tap . It is bad quality .It is a shame that they have reduced their offer.
Unnecessarily complex system for towels, plastic cups and À la carte Restaurant. You need cash on you for towels: €20 each.
The buffet quality is only just passable and they keep running out of crockery/cups/glasses.
Last time we came you went to see the host and booked a table for speciality dining . This time they want you to queue each day to bags a table - ridiculous. They only book for that evening . So you are forced to go back each day until there is space . Again reducing the offer .
Patio door could be opened from outside . They fixed it but it is possible that if we didn’t notice someone could have just walked in .
We returned to the hotel because the offering last time was really quite good . One aspect was tennis . This year there is no tennis. The courts lay empty and in need of refurbishment.
The value for money this time round is disappointing. We paid a premium since last time it was premium. This time it fell short .
It remains a decent option if like us you want a heated pool and happy atmosphere. Despite the cons listed, we had a pleasant stay.
- Gazi Q (9/5): Pleasant stay - Kids loved the swimming and other facilities like volleyball, basketball and table tennis. Rooms are cosy but well-designed; e.g., the sofa bed is a good size. The restaurant buffet had many options for all three meals. Restaurant staff were courteous. The place is super clean. Minor things in otherwise enjoyable experience. Some processes, such as getting iron, can be simplified.
- woodybark (8/5): My Favourite Club ( MFC) - We stayed in the MFC area and the room ( on the ground floor) was spacious, clean and comfortable, if slightly dated. We ate breakfast and lunch at The Fancy Club beside the MFC pool, most days, and during the good weather this was very peaceful and pleasant although the choice of food on offer at lunchtime was rather limited. The sun loungers are comfortable with very thick mattresses and during our stay, there was no problem finding somewhere to catch some rays. I was slightly concerned with the cleanliness of the pools in the MFC area, both had dirty tide marks around the water's edge and although I never saw anyone clean the pools , I'm sure they must have done at some point? Pool towels are available for MFC guests without paying a deposit and goals can be changed twice during your stay.
One of the best aspects of this hotel is the stunning gardens and grounds which were beautifully kept and had an outstanding collection of trees, flowers and plants. Congratulations to the gardeners who have a big job to tackle, especially after the storm we had.
The food in the main buffet was just ok, the usual fare, and not always hot unfortunately, and the wine on offer was a bit tasteless. There is a separate seating area for those staying in the MFC, so it's a bit quieter and less busy. Servers have to cover the main buffet and the MFC area , so wine supplies often ran out and finding somebody to get more was a challenge, even though the hotel wasn't all that busy.
The MFC "special" restaurant is a huge disappointment because although you have a choice from three main courses served to your table, they are not the best. The staff was offhand and not very welcoming and the noise of chairs scraping along the tiled floor whenever anyone moved, was excruciating. ( Perhaps buy some self adhesive pads to cover the chair feet?! ) We only ate there 3 times and chose the buffet available instead of the served mains on 2 occasions. It's not clear that you can help yourself to wine in this restaurant ( as you can in the buffet) but I would have expected staff to serve wine at the table, though they weren't overly enthusiastic about doing so. Instead they kept busy re-setting tables, even though the place never seemed particularly busy.
If visiting Corralejo on foot, choose the walk along the coastal path which is boardwalk in most places, it's a scenic option compared to walking through the surrounding streets. There are entries on to the beach areas all the way along the path.
If going in the winter months, a ground floor room has a covered patio which will give you more shelter from the wind ( and rain!) than the upstairs rooms, which have open balconies.
The weather was a bit disappointing, though that's nothing that the hotel can be held responsible for, but It would have been a more enjoyable stay had the weather been better. It's a pleasant hotel in a good location with beautiful gardens and good value for money too.

- Global32266423343 (4/5): Will not go again! - Unfortunately, our experience at Alua Suites Fuerteventura was very disappointing. On arriving at our room, we were greeted by a cockroach, and throughout our stay there was a strong sewage smell outside the room. We also had ongoing issues with midges and flies coming up through the shower and sink waste. To manage this, we had to keep the sink plug closed and cover the shower drain with a wet flannel for the duration of the holiday, which was far from ideal.
The food was very repetitive and basic, typical buffet-style fare with little variety. On several occasions, if you paused eating even briefly, your plate would be cleared away immediately. Staff interactions were also unpleasant at times — we were shouted at in the main lunch area for sitting at a table deemed “not for two people,” and again at the pool bar for taking food from a buffet that had been laid out two hours before service.
As for entertainment, it was virtually non-existent. What was offered felt quite laughable: three ladies stamping their feet and shouting “hola,” and a man running around the pool dressed as the Grinch. The poor weather didn’t help matters, but even so, the overall experience fell well below expectations.
Sadly, this is not a hotel I would choose to return to.

- 850winnieb (10/5): Lovely holiday we like the hotel and so much the town Correlejo. The restaurants Are so lovely, with so many kind of fo - So nice hotel. Fine rooms and very lovely food and drinks. All staff is so kind. Again a very lovely week. This Was our 3. time at this hotel and not the last
- northernirelandskip (10/5): Happy holiday. - We enjoyed a lovely week in this fantastic hotel. We were in the MFC section and we couldn't fault it at all. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are perfect and kept very clean by the hard working staff. Room cleaned and fresh towels provided every day. There is a very good selection of food at each mealtime and you would struggle to not find something to like. The hotel is very well situated for access to the beach and the main strip. We would definitely return to this very good hotel.
- Guest (10/5): Absolutely gorgeous hotel we will definitely be back - Breakfast was so good lunch and dinner was also top quality and the location was ideal
- alisonsT9104LY (10/5): Fantastic Hotel - This was our 3rd time back at The Alua Suites and yet again we had a fantastic time. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the grounds and rooms are exceptionally clean and can't fault the food at all. Such amazing choice of food and its always nice and hot. The restaurant can get very busy but we've never had a problem getting a table and there's a lovely outdoor eating area to. We look forward to returning in April 2026. Thankyou Alua Suites for another perfect stay.
- Andysym53 (8/5): First time in Alua Suites - Stayed at Alua suites for 11 days in the MFC area. Overall a very enjoyable time. Hotel and rooms are very clean, staff very good and attentive, breakfast in MFC area is good but limited options, however we did eat breakfast in main restaurant a few times which although much busier there is a better selection. The MFC pool is nice and quiet, however two issues were that sun beds were being reserved before daylight despite notices saying not to do so, at no time did we see towels being removed by staff which they say will happen. Also the composite flooring around the pool is starting to come apart and is very uneven in places and definitely a trip hazard. The MFC evening restaurant is a great concept but sadly it is understaffed- more often than not there were only two staff, one of which was responsible for getting guests seated and taking the main course order. AI wine was poured by the staff and although the first glass was normally poured reasonably quickly, any subsequent glass was almost impossible to get. So much so that after a few days we resorted to ordering the non AI wine by the bottle at around €17 a bottle to ensure we had drink with the entire meal. The AI drinks offering is reasonable and there is a daily cocktail option that although it’s pre-prepared is normally good with a strong alcohol content.Entertainment is on the whole very average in the evening but the entertainment staff seem to work hard by day and by night but the quality of the brought in acts is not great. As reported in other reviews the Wi-Fi is haphazard but this is often the case in resorts throughout Canaries. The hotel is a fair way from main Corralejo but is walkable in 20 25 minutes, unfortunately my wife had a recent operation so was unable to walk, taxi was around 8 euro into town and 5 euro back ( due to one way roads).Would we come back ? On balance yes, as the positives do outweigh the negatives.
- Meaks333 (10/5): Excellent, Friendly, Spotless Value for Money - The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming from the off.
All of the service staff were constantly friendly and helpful, especially those we interacted with most in the MFC Area.
The whole hotel was absolutely spotless.
Value for money, it would be unfair to pick a fault in our experience. Great holiday and thank you all
- tracyb875 (10/5): Lovely stay in MFC adult only areas of Alua Suites - We had a great stay in Alua Suites, we loved the adult only areas , pool dining and bar that came as part of the My Favourite Club upgrade. The more relaxed vibe suited us well. A lovely relaxed stay with good food and drinks. Weather was blowy and understand that is normal for the area.
- Susieblue57 (8/5): Enjoyable - Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, accommodation very clean, very good variety of food, staff were friendly and helpful, location was a little out of the centre but a pleasant stroll straight on one road, felt very safe and relaxed.
- BlomqvistAnette (6/5): Oerhört trevlig och serviceinriktad personal! - The hotel room was very nice and well-equipped. Comfortable beds and a separate living room with a cozy sofa.
The water was replenished daily!
Our room had a terrace, and we were terrorized by birds—especially the Eurasian collared doves, which were everywhere and very unafraid and intrusive.
Unfortunately, our room was located at the beginning of the area, and there were many carts and loud conversations that woke us up every morning. The walls and the front door are so thin. Avoid room 5002… maybe it’s better further in, or perhaps not a room in the adults-only section with bungalows.
The hotel grounds and pool area were very nice.
The staff was extremely service-minded throughout the hotel, but in the restaurant they were incredibly accommodating and quick to provide service. We were always greeted with a smile!
- sarahmF3025XH (2/5): Nothing to say - It was not good fan in bathroom was not working hairdryer wasn't working either food wasn't good at all it was not good experience at all will not returning to that hotel
- theoinksfam (10/5): Our special home in Fuerteventura - We have been coming to your hotel for a number of years now, and it feels like coming home. Special mention to the entertainment team. And special mentions to Jana and Natalia who I enjoyed playing volleyball with and walking to the dunes. With Jana. Loved everything about our time together

- CDFilmer (10/5): Lovely family stay - I was really nervous before we arrived after reading some recent reviews but I shouldn’t have been. My partner, I and our 2 teenage boys had a lovely 4 night stay here.
Check in/out was easy. All staff we spoke to were excellent, smiley and friendly from reception and restaurant to the cleaners. We had a small confusion with the pool towels that was sorted quickly with no fuss at all. Food was good, I don’t eat meat but there were plenty of options for me, my children and partner thought the food was lovely. I did hear an older couple moaning that it was bland which we really didn’t think was true. Each night seemed to be a different theme for food, Mexican, Italian etc.. Breakfast choice was excellent. Our room was spotless, we had a lovely suite near the quieter pool and gym. We aren’t big drinkers so what was on offer was fine for us.
I don’t really do entertainment at hotels but the team seemed lovely and encouraging but not pushy in any way. There was a good range of activities that seemed to be well run. We used the gym which was really well equipped. The kids liked that there was as an area that they could kick a football about in without disturbing people.
We walked everywhere but could’ve easily got cabs or cheap buses. Definitely busy enough in Corralejo to entertain the kids too.
Overall it was a perfect place for a bit of winter sun, and we definitely wouldn’t hesitate booking it again.
- Kalcurly (10/5): Four days of Sunshine, good food and some amazing staff. - Four Days of Sunshine, Good Food and some amazing Staff.
My daughter and I spent four night at Alua suites. Our checking in was quick. Our room was on the ground floor
near one of the pools. We got there around 2.30ish. But we missed the lunch/ snack, as we were not told about the times. But I must say the buffet restaurant is absolutely fantastic, there something for everyone. We always sat outside. There is waitress called Maria, she always smiled, very polite and hardworking. Thank you Maria for our lovely four days ❤️.
The grounds are kept well, also well sign posted. The use of plastic glass with token is an excellent idea 👏🏼. But the 20 euros for towels cash only is scandalous, as you get this back when you check out, I mean what are you supposed to do with in our case 40 euros on your last day!!!
Martar at reception was very helpful and courteous. But we did have issues with Evea, she wasn’t very nice to us, wouldn’t give the information we required, walked away when she saw us approaching the desk.
The house keeping is spot on, room kept clean during our stay.
Watch out for jet2 pickup, they are very sneaky, they come before time. Plus if you are not there they don’t enquire they just leave you there. After you have to make your own way to the airport!
Overall the staff, the food the cleannesses and the hotel is brilliant. 🤩 Would I return to this hotel? Yes for sure.
Thank you everyone for making our stay pleasant 💖👏🏼
- kimmoh764 (2/5): The worst food ever - The worst hotel I have ever stayd in. My parents were given a moldy room and no reaction from the stuff until I contacted the agent. The food… was just awful and I’m not the only one to thought that. It looked horrible snd tasted even worse!
- angelahC3148EA (10/5): Excellent hotel - I stayed at this hotel last year and it was so good I returned this November, the food rooms and entertainment were excellent,my husband had a bleed on the brain when we were there and the staff went above and beyond to help me , especially Dani I think her name was (sorry) I cannot thank you and your team enough ,if you are reading this unfortunately he is still in hospital but he is in very good hands , do not Hesitate book this hotel you will not regret it
- B8792KRkayw (10/5): Lovely hotel in a great location - Great place to stay. Hotel was lovely. 10 mins walk from the beach and main town centre. Room was big on the ground floor and had a massive bed which was very comfortable. Hotel grounds were immaculate. All staff so helpful and friendly, food was good , a great selection for anyone. Would definitely recommend to anyone. We had a lovely holiday .

- happy01Bedfordshire (10/5): Fantastic break at the Alua Suites, Corralejo - We had a fabulous 4 night girlie break at the Alua Suites, Corralejo to celebrate some of our friends' Big Birthdays! Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds with great pool areas. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The food choices were excellent for all meals and drinks were lovely! All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the entertainment was great. It was a 20 min walk into the town, but to be honest, we were having such a great time at the hotel, we only walked in once! it was nice though! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend!
- Trip594216 (8/5): Relaxing break in the sun - We stayed in My Favourite Club at Alua Suites for a week. We had a lovely, relaxing week.
We thought paying the extra for MFC was worth the extra money - you can access the adults only pool and bar, there is a quieter section in the main restaurant which we used as we were not overly impressed with the MFC restaurant menu - not a lot of choice.
The room was lovely, the bed was very big and comfortable, overall it needs a bit of an update but very clean and spacious, rooms were cleaned every day.
Nice balcony area.
Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, handwashing and body lotion are provided in the bathrooms.
The food is good - something for everyone, always a choice of fresh fish and vegetables, nice salad selection.
The alcohol and mixers are not great - but there is a supermarket just next door so we bought some wine and kept it in the fridge in the room.
The snack bar/ breakfast area at MFC pool area was lovely - comfortable and quiet.
There is another restaurant that you have to book - very poor system though - have to queue from 9.30am to try and book it - unable to book in advance for a later day in the week.
You have to get a token from the bar to get a plastic cup for drinks at the pool which was also inconvenient and a bit pointless we thought.
The hotel has a few pools - we only used the MFC one so couldn’t comment on the others.
Entertainment at night was very average, this could be improved we thought.
It is around a 20minute walk into Correlejo and there are lots of bars, shops and restaurants.
There is a large gym and spa which we didn’t use - looked very nice though.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, the TV wouldn’t work in the room and it was replaced very quickly.
A bottle of water is left in the room every day which was nice - some of the water fountains have signs saying not to use to fill up your water bottle???
Food is available almost all day and the bar at MFC is staffed from 10.30am until 6ish every day.
- Buffalo76 (10/5): Very happy 1st stay - My wife and i have just spent a week at Alua Suites and had a very relaxing time. As soon as we arrived and saw the entrance we both had a good feeling about the hotel. Checking in was friendly and a smooth process. Our ground floor room opposite one of the many pools at the hotel was spacious and clean. The Terra restaurant that we used the whole week was bright, clean and had plenty of seats and tables. The food at each meal time was plenty and enjoyable. Never understand the complaints about the food on other reviews - there's only so many types of food in this world! We certainly never went hungry.
Overall a very happy 1st experience and we have already booked to return next year.
