Guest Reviews
- Stacey (6/5): - Beautiful view from the back verandah and the beds were comfortable.
- Deb (10/5): Sublime view - The view was sublime! The home is beautifully situated. It’s a family home not a designer home. And I loved it. It was, very comfortable with everything we needed. The kitchen was modern, up-to-date and spacious. The lounge room has a huge comfy sofa with a recliner section. Huge TV with a big range of streaming services as well as local. That can be hard to find in an area like this as reception can be difficult. The Veranda looking out onto the rainforest Creek view was very comfortable and safe for a small dog. There was also a good sized fenced area off the veranda for the dog to run around in. A bit more information on walking tracks in the area would be good
- Carver (3/5): Good from a far but...... - Great location , close Avalon Castle. The bedding appeared to have been used as there was hairs, stains and creases in the sheets. There was also no top sheets. We had 5 adults staying and were provided with a total of 3 towels for two nights. We had to buy towels and sheets at the local Kmart. (30 mins away). We also bought mattress protectors as there were stains which appeared to be blood and god only knows on the ones on the bed.
The place does have potential, it just needs a really good deep clean and a bit of love and general maintenance.

- David (6/5): Pleasant - Nothing We Vacuumed the carpet to remove all the pet hair and fixed the sliding rear door so it could lock. The house was very smelly of animals. The Yard was full of weeds and the place looked like it was abandoned when we arrived with leaves and paper against the front door. we received no check in details before arrival and didn't until we were picked on the security camera.
- Ann (9/5): Lovely place for a weekend getaway - It was a quiet area and peaceful surroundings. The home was perfect for our family. Nowhere to hang towels.
- Heather (7/5): Enjoyable - The outlook was lovely. Enjoyed the deep bath and the fireplace The sliding door was hard to lock. The toilet mat needed washing
- Julie (4/5): Disappointing - Comfortable bed
Close to wedding venue No air-conditioning
Dirty & overpriced
- Ellen (8/5): Great stay for Avalon Castle - The location was perfect for a wedding at Avalon Castle! The beds were comfy and lots of amenities supplied. I had a lovely time sitting on the deck in the morning with a great view and the peaceful sounds of birds. The rubbish bin outside was overflowing when we arrived and so there was rubbish all over the ground which I picked up. The floors were not vacuumed very well when we arrived so we had to pull out the vacuum on arrival. It was great that a vacuum was available for use though!
- Arnel (7/5): Good - Location was perfect with a wedding at Avalon Castle just down the road The bbq had 2 empty cans of gas so couldn't use it
- Geoff (9/5): Superb -
- Tamara (10/5): Exceptional - The veiw
- Jade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jungyeon (6/5): Pleasant -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vicki (7/5): Good - It’s location Could see in the bathroom window
- Selda (10/5): Great place to stay - Love the home and around. It was a beautiful weekend, surrendered by plain nature. Home was so clean 🙌 Notting that I did not like it.
- Ellis (7/5): Good - Clean, tidy and plenty of room. No tv reception and hardly any internet connection.
- Daniela (8/5): Very good - Beautiful view from the balcony. Very peaceful setting. Would have liked blankets for the beds and an outdoor table setting
- Juanique (9/5): Tranquil, relaxed and a fantastic homely feel. - Vick has a stunning home and it felt very cosy and homely. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and the fireplace added the charm that we wanted for our getaway. Sitting on the outside deck overlooking the creek and getting carried away by birdsong and the water trickling was exactly the tranquility we were looking for.
