• Davies (10/5): - Was simple to do I think the details of collecting the keys could be released a little earlier on the day of check in.
• Mark (8/5): Happy will stay again. - The water constantly running into the toilet and making a noice as it had to keep topping up the flush system.

• Julie (1/5): Filthy and disgusting unit with no maintenance. Do not stay here. - The position of the facility was ok. The oven worked ok. There was nothing else to say here. It was disgraceful. No maintenance. No hot water, missing lights, very dirty, leaking air conditioners, dishwasher didn’t work efficiently, no shade over the pool, dirty shower, generally unclean, lumpy uncomfortable lounge - loose springs and stained, stained mouldy carpet throughout but worse where the air conditioner was leaking. They used duct tape to try to seal cracks in the walls and ceiling. 5 blown light bulbs. No cover in the kitchen. The stove was not heating properly. Communication with the manager didn’t solve anything as my stay was over Christmas but it should have been resolved prior as I don’t believe anything was a new issue
• Talia (4/5): - I liked the air-conditioning Beds were comfortable Had to collect the key from a dodgy place prior to checking in as we checked in late Would have rather collected from reception Stains on the carpets in lounge and bedroom Needs professional carpet clean Cockroach on wall Main glass sliding door to balcony has no lock! Not very secure No hot water Pool was dirty Stains on walls Light in kitchen missing a light cover Password and username provided for free wifi was absolutely useless We did manage to get proper User name and password from reception but Internet kept cutting in and out Hallways were like a prison Not very inviting

• Janine (1/5): Awful and should not be rented to anybody! - No breakfast included The apartment was very dirty with built up dirt everywhere! The carpets were terribly dirty and the bathroom was so dirty I cleaned it myself.

• Matthew (1/5): Devastated - It was convenient to necessities The room wasn't cleaned properly, some of the main structure was cracked or wouldn't close properly, there was dust throughout the unit, the back screen was almost completely off the screen in one of the bedrooms was falling off the hinges, the cleaners who cleaned the room used to much bleach in the bathroom that it was to overpowering the shower it couldn't be used as we were getting sick and having migraines due to the excess bleach used and no window to air it out. the state of the apartment we stayed in was not appropriate to be used for guests to stay in until these issues are resolved

• Jodie (4/5): Disappointing - The location was central to everything we needed. This apartment is not rented through the Oaks but through a third party. All the extra personal info needed to be handed out for a second time to them including the C/C for a security deposit felt like a scam. It took two lengthy phone calls and a week since we left to get our deposit of $300 back. Beds were hard, flyscreen was damaged, curtains had mold on them, lounge and floor were heavily stained. We were in Mackay for a funeral the whole process was an ordeal.

• Karen (4/5): It was very very frustrating gaining entry to the property. Contact with the manager was difficult. - Location was good. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of washing cleaners. The hot water was luke warm. Showering required no mix of cold water. Carpet was dirty.

• Fagan (7/5): It was a lovely and comfortable stay. I would come back again. - The locations of the apartment was great, it’s close to everything. The beds and couch were very comfortable. Decoration was nice. Lots of cooking utensils which was fantastic, it made it easy for us to cook rather than buy takeaway all the time. When we arrived the floor wasn’t vacuumed properly. There was food from last people under the dinner table. Under the couch wasn’t cleaned, there was also stuff under couch, including two children’s balls/toys. The bathroom door handle was very flimsy and so was the bathroom hand towel hanger.

• Mark (1/5): Bad - Nice and big as the Oaks building rooms always are The booking is through a separate 3rd party who own the unit. Didn't answer phone for multiple times. Was told rudely to check email for verification process and then provide id, a selfie. Was absolute joke. The key lock in whete the key was suppose to be was broken so anyone could of got the key
