- Samia (9/5): Heerlijke touch met de meest vriendelijke en lief ontvangst van de eigenaren. - De eigenaren waren fantastisch. We hebben gedineerd met groente en gevulde kip met producten uit de de eigen tuin. Bij het ontbijt heeft de eigenaar verse chocolade melk gemaakt, met de boon van de boom geplukt, gedroogd, geroosterd en gemalen. Het water was koud, de bedden goed en zeer schoon. Geen airco maar wel ventilatoren

- Christopher (7/5): Well-priced accommodation just outside Drake Bay - Like: The room was spacious and clean and situated in a nice garden. It is a little distance outside of Drake, however, given the very reasonable price point the location is fair. Also, Carla who met us on arrival was very friendly. Improvement: We had booked for 2 days so that we could store our luggage in the room during an overnight to Corcovado. The issue we had is that the room did not have any windowpanes. From the photos this was not visible. Jose advised that they have 24hr security on the property and this is not a risk in Drake Bay, however, being from South Africa (where this would not be possible) we needed to seek an alternative stay so that we had a secure lock up for all our luggage. José did advise that our feedback was noted and something he will consider as this could impact other guests, similar to ourselves, traveling from less safe countries.
- Claire (10/5): Pura Vida in a beautiful environment with great hosts! Thank you. - The drive toward Drake Bay is a challenging one and you need 4x4 because of road conditions. We had an SUV and our return was difficult. The cabin is 15 minutes from Drake Bay and easy to reach from there. They booked our tour to Corcovado and Carlos lead the way to the departure point on his motorbike. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit. Carlos and his wife are great hosts. He prepared a suptuous dinner for us, he took us on a hike to waterfalls (real somewhat challenging forest hike, not like Corcovado tour, way better), we swam at the falls. We suggested that a fridge and clothesline would be good additions, and the next day we had both. We had access to a well equipped kitchen. The cabin is new, super clean, simple and on beautiful grounds you can enjoy from your balcony. We truly enjoyed our stay and the special attention given by all. The toilet needs attention because the flap stays open and it does not refill unless you open the tank and pysh the flap. Easy fix once you know. Also so far credit card payment is not accepted althought the Booking.com site states no cash payment, you do need to bring cash.
