Guest Reviews
- Jodie (4/5): Lovely spot, but disappointing stay - The property is in a lovely location, and has beautiful views There was a few things I wasn’t happy with.
The garage door remote didn’t work, we called to have it looked at, after a long phone call, the maintenance man was supposed to come around to look at it. We were asked to leave the key in the lock box for him. We decided to take the door remote off the keys, and just leave it in there. Which was lucky because he never showed up. I am heavily pregnant and had to keep climbing out of the car to go through the gate to open the garage door.
The house wasn’t cleaned very well. When we arrived there was sand in all of the showers, marks and makeup on several of the towels and hand towels, rubbish in the basket near the fire place, under the beds was very dirty and dusty, and half drank water bottles on the window edge at the front of the house. There was also sand in several of the beds on the first night, like the beds hadn’t been made with fresh linen. The house could really do with a bit of maintenance, there was flickering lights, the back sliding door was very hard to open, and the other sliding door didn’t open at all. One of the doors to the balcony also didn’t open, the spa bath didn’t work, and again, the garage door remote had flat batteries. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, and air conditioner upstairs was also on a automatic timer so kept turning off during the night.
Spending the amount I did to stay here, I honestly expected better.
