• Vina (8/5): Convenient to mall, food, travel. - There for the location mainly and the conveniences nearby. The rooftop pool was another factor. I know it's difficult to maintain basic utensils, kitchen and decor with uncivilized guests. Maybe provide a optional boxset as you take the deposit? The box would have better utensils, etc. and upon returning the boxset, full deposit refund or minor deductions for missing/spoilt items?

• James (3/5): There is need to improve this facility in areas of customer service. - Location is perfect as it is near shopping areas and restaurants. However not good for those using the train as the train station is not nearby. There was a terrible smell from the sewer through out my stay. The owners know about this but is seems it is a problem with the building itself and not an isolated apartment. The reception staff are very cold and unwilling to assist. Check in procedures are not client friendly. Every single guest who arrived at the same time we arrived faced this challenge. You are required to call the apartment owner when you arrive. How do you do this if you come from a different country and have no access to WiFi? You are not even allowed to leave bags at reception even if you want to step out for lunch or for a short while as you wait to be checked in.

• Irene (8/5): A nice stay - I like the room at first sight but then started to think it is good for short stay but not for long stay. There's no workplace for preparing the food that you want to cook. But if you don't cook there you don't have a problem. The master bed was to hard for me.

• Elaine (1/5): Unbearable - Close to where I needed to go to. Things were broken. Would on the walls. Stains on bedsheets and sofa. Aircon wasn’t working.

• Hoi Yan (2/5): Coercive check-in practice – serious privacy concern, major noise issues, and unrelliable access - Convenient location next to Pavillion Bukit Jalil While the apartment itself is acceptable in basic condition, the overall experience was extremely poor due to the following: 1. Undisclosed ID photo requirement and distressing check-in experience Before arrival, the host demanded that I send a photo of my ID via WhatsApp. This requirement was not disclosed anywhere in the Booking.com listing or house rules. At check-in, despite presenting my original physical driving licence for verification, the host refused to hand over the keys unless he could take a photograph of my ID on his personal mobile phone. We were made to wait outside while the host insisted on taking the photo. There was no alternative offered, and no explanation of how the data would be stored or protected. It was made very clear that without the photo, we would not be allowed into the apartment, even though the stay was already fully paid. We were travelling with a child, had already waited over almost 2 hours, were tired, and had all our luggage with us. At that point, refusing would have meant being stranded outside with a child and nowhere to go. This created a situation where I felt I had no real choice but to comply, purely to protect my family and gain access. This was not a simple identity check. It was the forced copying of sensitive personal data onto a private device, with no consent freely given, no privacy information provided, and no prior disclosure before booking. 2. locked out for nearly 2 hours, Unusable Wi-Fi, and Noise On another day, the digital door code stopped working . We were locked out for almost two hours, causing major stress, especially as our child needed to get changed for a private lesson. Also he Wi-Fi did not work on any of our devices for the entire stay. Only the host’s TV appeared to be connected. Also Severe early-morning noise every day as building close to mosque Strongly caution other travelers—especially families concnered about privacy, reliable access, internet connectivity, or quiet rest—to avoid

Gave details but they clearly do not know how to transfer monies internationally pestering for bank account number and international banking swift code. Gave about 5 times and still asking. Either a language problem or they should be visiting the bank in person to make the transfer.

• Nicole (3/5): The money we paid was not worth the stay despite its location. - Convenient location just opposite the Pavillion. Booked a two bedroom suite with a sofa bed in the living room but it turned out the sofa was not a sofa bed. We had to request an extra bed and was given a foldable mattress; the process was a huge hassle! We even had to request additional bedding after they just handed the bare mattress over. And there was water leaking from an unknown source which left a wet stain on the bed. Additionally, there was only 1 set of cutlery in the kitchen for our whole family to use. Lastly, there is no free parking.

• Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Location is great. Lots of restaurants below the condo. Just across Pavilion Mall, 2 minutes walk, very little traffic. Price is very good.
• Rohit (6/5): Location only, confirm details before you book - The apartment is in a nice location, next to Pavilion bukit jalil. Check in was smooth. The apartment is wrongly advertised as with 'Parking Included/Free', it is a misleading advertisement as parking is at a daily charge of RM15, not much but the advertisement needs to be honest and truthful. The studio apartment was small with nil amenities provided.

If this is the case, why should I bother booking in advance? This kind of host is truly terrible. They caused me inconvenience and left us completely unprepared.
