- Ashley (6/5): - The location of the room is very conveniently located to cafes and the beach, as well as the tram lines. There is a lot of sticky tape used for quick fixes on bench edges and internal windows eg. shower window, it looks quite tacky and wouldn't take much effort or money to fix properly. Only one set of towels are provided; a second set would be good. There is also minimal ceiling lighting and no black out/dark material curtains.

The property was not as advertised and was in a very poor and unhygienic condition. There was visible mould, noticeable damage throughout the room, and most concerning, signs of bed bugs in the bed.
I have photo evidence of everything. I also felt unwell after the stay, which made the experience even worse.
What’s most disappointing is that after raising these issues, the response and compensation offered were completely inadequate. Looking through previous reviews, it seems these problems have been ongoing for quite some time, which is really concerning.
This stay unfortunately ruined part of our trip. I would not recommend this property to anyone. The property was dirty, had mould, visible damage, and signs of bed bugs. It was not as advertised and felt very unhygienic.

- Md (5/5): Not so pleasant to stay for long periods. - Location was good. All amenities reachable. Not clean enough. Very old building. Inside the unit some features does not appear well.
- Azzouni (4/5): Served its purpose for two nights. - Great location. Close to tram and main strip at surfers paradise. The staff were very helpful though. Room was sub par for what we paid. It is above a club which we were not told about. No blockout blinds. We could hear the music all night. Room was very dated and we’re not cleaned out during our stay.

Ironing board in 3 pieces broken. Curtains were soaking wet and stained from previously being wet. TV not working. Furniture cellotaped in multiple places.Not an amazing suite as advertised. Booking.com should remove this from their listing!!! Agree with other reviews just read. NEVER STAY THERE if you want to have a nice holiday.

- Michelle (7/5): My stay was good once the aircon was working. There are many repairs that need to be done by owner - We had no idea of lock boxes or where they were. Went into the Mantra and was told it was a private accommodation as in Air BnB. When I was booking the apartment, there was no mention that it was a 'private accommodation' so could not understand how we weren't booked into the Mantra. I felt deceived at this as there was no transparency and honesty regarding this. Contacted via booking.com and agent was difficult to understand as she was in another country and had a difficult accent for me to understand. The owners of these apartments should be available to their guests to ensure all is above board and going well for their guests. These owners are hidden in the background, yet they have all my ID and other private information. I am not happy about this.

The location was great, suited us as we were able to park the car and walk everywhere.
The unit was great. Very spacious, very clean.
The views were AMAZING!

- Weiyi (1/5): Do Not Book This Property At All, You Will Regret! - Nothing because of extremely bad room maintaining and customer service.
Pictures saved for proof already. 1. Washing sink was broken and dropped. (Could not use for the whole 2 nights stay)
2. Kettle was a broken one, can not work at all.
3. The sticker tape on the TV bench has fell off and only use sticky tape to cover temporaryly.
4. No room service at all...but only handy man came for repairing my room...
5. Tried to contact the Belocals Management (Property agency) and the room owner, they admitted the inconvenience and unpleasant caused to my families but refuse to apply for any discount or compensation for their neglecting and lack of the management to us.
Even if the pictures of the proof have been supplied to their agency (Belocals Management)
6. Besides, there is no any parking place for their guests belongs to this apartment, you have to look for the pay park place outside the building by yourself.
DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY AT ALL AND YOU WILL REGRET. THEY ARE NOT GOOD AT ROOM MAINTAINING, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT. VERY INCONVENIENCE FOR PARKING.
