Guest Reviews
- Kathie (9/5): - Facilities, decor, large hot shower. The bed was a little soft for me. Also constant traffic noise .
- Alejandro (8/5): Good location. Fair value. Not amazing but for the price seems fair. - Was comfortable and AC worked good. Internet was really bad.
- Zineddine (10/5): Superb Studio 😍 - Excellent service, perfect location just 2 minutes from Tahrir Street and 10 minutes from the Nile River. The studio was clean, comfortable, and had a balcony with a nice view. everything was good
- Eleni (9/5): Clean and nice interior but not if you want to chill due to traffic noise. - Perfect like the photos. Very clean. The noise from traffic all day and night could be problem despite the fact that the windows are new. The location is central but no so European neighbourhood.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Taisa (10/5): Perfect stay! - It’s my 7th time already when I’m staying with Xuru Stays in their different apartments in Cairo, this time was not an exception!
Amazing cozy place, looks exactly like on the pictures, I actually chose it for my birthday and woke up there on a special day and everything was amazing! Highly recommended 💯 Location, view, apartment, supportive team - everything is beyond expectations! Can’t wait to come back
- Yara (4/5): Great design and cleanliness, 0/10 customer service and 0/10 honesty. - great interior and cleanliness/ but unfortunately not coming back because of the experience AFTER my stay. HORRIBLE customer service!!! we stayed waiting for an hour under the building to get in because the Xuru teams hasn’t sent me a payment link up until i arrived! And out of decency would not let us in until the transaction was processed. not just that. after checking out and clearly stating i enjoyed the stay and that the miscommunication was no issue for me anymore, i asked for my security deposit back, it has been more like 35 days since my stay and they didn’t issue the refund yet! and even after this horrible hassle of trying to get in contact to get my money back, after contacting them on a weekly basis at least once, they had the audacity to deduct an amount from the security deposit claiming that i “damaged” the room. with no clear evidence other than a picture that may or may not have been because of me, damage done to the wood counter that may have been any of the past visitors. A day after my experience i was gladly planning to come back on a regular basis, but because of the fact that i have to go through this hassle for over a month every time i visit, i definitely won’t be coming back.
- Edgar (10/5): very well located, this studio has everything for a comfortable, safe and worrieless stay. The double bed is big and ver - That’s a Great choice!
very clean, well decorated, super comfortable and great location. The check in was super smooth and communication very easy.
For sure will book here again next time. I really recommend it. nothing at all.
- Peg (3/5): could be a gem, but pretty sketchy as it is managed now. - This unit is just a couple blocks from Tahir Square and walking distance to many of Cairos best restaurants and attractions. The old museum is very close, but that will change once the new Egyptian museum opens. The room was clean, comfortable, and newly renovated. The soaking tub is a nice bonus. the unit is in a mixed use building filled with little one office businesses mixed with a few residential units. The halls and elevator were filthy. Every night I was there, a group arrived at one of the spaces above me and partied loudly till dawn. There is no onsite manager to call or get assistance for such a situation. So I had to move to a new place and forfeit two nights…big bummer.
- Ali (1/5): Don’t recommend - Only positive was the bathtub I could write very long about all the bad things, if you’re reading this, don’t book, especially if you are non Arabic speaker like me. Just to get the keys was a nightmare and to get code number for opening apartment door even worse, I payed cash 100 euro do a doorman who could not a single English word, who I didn’t know, who just appeared in front of me, I had to just believe he was a doorman, because he called somebody who I just don’t know who said to me to trust him. just to get the code for get inside apartment. Then I hade to trust same person, to get my money back, very non professional, everything. The doorman was really nice, but I could not communicate with him, I did not get any info when booking about him giving me keys, and that I have to pay him, it was a total nightmare. even if it’s good, positive stuff, the negative is to much, you feel unsafe, everytime the apartment door opens (second door for your and the other hotels door) you get scared, you think somebody is trying to break in your apartment, you wake middle of the night when the door closes. The warm water did not work for 3 days in bathroom, we “showered” in bathtub, I can go on and on, how they used cheap toilet rolls, how they wanted us to leave it really clean, throw the trash, fix the bed, clean the floor, they did not even have ekstra trash bags. The location is not good, it’s good located but it’s just to noisy and much traffic, problem to go anywhere with Uber or Taksi, hotel is on fifth floor. It’s to expensive, room didn’t even have a wardrobe.
- Sheng (1/5): Complete a nightmare. Scanmers in the street are even nicer than this horrible studio. - The reason why I booked it just because it’s modern style. This has been the worst experience that I have had in Egypt. It was totally a
nightmare. I just don't know why I
chose such an annoying place to stay. After you booked, you'll receive tremendous messages from the studio, and you should read extremely carefully to
learn how to self-check in, how to use their system to register, how to check out. Beyond your past experience, when you read the message, you may feel you’re learning a new language. You should write key things down,
otherwise you will miss important
things. And the rule is unfriendly and unkind to customers, I promise. As a customer, I know I should care about the room facilities, but I have never felt bad about it before I booked this stupid studio.
Because of their strict and arrogant rule, I don’t dare to use anything. It says you should make the room as clean as possible, as original as possible. And you must take away your rubbish. About the rubbish, they even told you how to handle it. How crazy! How shameless! I just say one night, should I do some housework there? I paid money only to see I’m being a prey.
Actually, the studio has a modern style, but they treat their furniture and other facilities as treasures, and once a customer booked, they act as if customer will ruin everything.
Terrible experience. Terrible!
