Guest Reviews
- Vincent (6/5): Okay. - Cost and location Thermostat didn’t work in shower, curtains were a bad fit, booking information was late coming, lingering food smells.
- Philip (5/5): it was fine, did the job -
- David (9/5): -
- Monika (6/5): Could have been better - Good location, easy check in and check out The whole bathroom smells really bad. Like sewage. We had to keep that door closed. And it didn’t go away for the 3 nights we were there.
The bed is small for two people if you’re used to a queen size, but it’s ok.
The place is a little run down, you get what you pay for.

- GEORGIOS (5/5): - Παρά πολύ καλό μέρος , στο κέντρο του Λονδίνου Δυστυχώς βρώμικο , και ο οικοδεσπότης δεν μας βοήθησε καθόλου
- Aitana (3/5): - Only the location We informed them on the first day that the Wi-Fi was not working and that we needed it to work. The only solution they gave us was to turn it off and on again, but I told them that it wasn’t working.
The next morning, while taking a shower, we realized that the shower mixer didn’t work. You could not have warm water; it was either hot or cold. I wrote to them again explaining that the mixer didn’t work, and they told me that someone would come to fix it.
When we arrived back at night, no one had come. I wrote to them again and they said someone would come during the day, but they finally arrived at 9:00 pm while we were having dinner. This is unacceptable. They didn’t fix anything at that time of the night.
I would not recommend this room. You can’t take a warm shower, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work, and the curtains don’t cover the whole window. Also, although it is a private room inside a hotel, you cannot leave your luggage on the last day while you are visiting the city.

- Alicia (1/5): Non-refundable nightmare. - Leaving. It was absolutely filthy with dust / plaster over every surface causing respiratory problems and illness, not all the lights worked, black mould, unsafe (another guest could get into the room across the hall with a butter knife), the shower had two temperatures - freezing or scalding, the ‘curtains’ didn’t cover the windows but there was a bulldog clip to hold them together, noisy, some expired tea bags in the cupboard and an empty coffee tin, a chair against a lamp was there to keep it from falling over, broken cupboard doors, dirty crockery, appliances and utensils (of the few items there were), broken towel rack, had to clean everything before I used it … this was advertised as a “charming Chelsea” stay. It was horrible, non-refundable, and the fact this organisation is using photos of well-maintained flats in the building seems deceptive. I’m only giving a 1 because there is no zero. If you have asthma, avoid. At least the leaking shower cleaned a part of the bathroom floor.
- diane (8/5): - Good range of facilities.
Nice roll top bath The curtains didn't fit the windows so they was letting in light from the street lights through the night
- Romeo (6/5): - Era aproape de stația de autobuz, destul de central. Baia dezastru, mobilier uzat,
- Andy (1/5): Disastrous and stressful. - I didn't like ANY of it. Because they cancelled my booking at 10.38am on the day of the reservation. I didn't like ANY of it. Because they cancelled my booking at 10.38am on the day of the reservation.

- Charlotte (2/5): Good location but wouldn't stay again. - Getting into the apartment was easy. Valet parking was available in the Chelsea Cloisters carpark (£40 for 24 hours if you are staying in Chelsea Cloisters). The studio apartment itself felt rather tired. These places are all tiny but this one wasn't only incredibly small, it really felt like it needed some tlc. There was a strong smell of damp in the bathroom. Overall we were very disappointed.
- Sally (8/5): - Enjoyed my stay - perfect location and excellent value.
- Glenn (9/5): Nice accomodation, good value. - Everything okay, good value in expensive part of town. Nothing to mention.
- rubatto (10/5): Consigliatissimo! - Appartemento situato all’interno di un hotel.
Proprietario disponibilissimo e rapido nelle risposte.
Bella camera matrimoniale con angolo cottura .
Letto comodo e spazio pulito.
- rachel (7/5): Good but needed little tweaks - The location was very good a short walk from Harrods and locals cafe/bars. The facilities were all in good working order and had everything we needed. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful when we arrived early. The property needs modernising and updating. The bathroom was a bit grubby with tape holding things together. The windows are very old so don’t block out noise and the curtains didn’t fit the windows. Having said this it had everything we needed and at the price for the area we couldn’t complain.
- Lindsay (6/5): - Having a fridge Small Bed curtains to short
- Teresa (9/5): Great little apartment in a great location to see/experience London - Great location - walkable to museums and parks - close tube stop with easy access to central London
- Kathy (7/5): Great location and facilities - The location was great for us as we had an appointment at the Royal Marsden. We really loved having cooking facilities and a fridge. The apartment could go with a general update and thorough clean. There was a dirty baking tray in the oven and same with a pan. The towels did not smell very fresh. There were a lot ants in the bathroom. There is a fan in the room but it is very hot. The bed is small.
- Marsha (8/5): -
- Linzi (10/5): - Amazing location, good price what you get, attentive hosts who will help anyway they can, clean and tidy
- Roya (8/5): Accommodating and comfortable - The property was in prime Chelsea, a great location to be in London. The property had most of what we needed and was very comfortable. The people in charge were very accommodating to our needs which was much appreciated and we will definitely consider coming back on our next stay. There was no tv which was a shame but this didn’t affect our stay.
- Tom (6/5): Nice room but could be better - Central location, comfortable bed, nice room Very hot, not as clean as others of similar price, hot water tap wasn't hot so had to have cool bath.
- Mychael (10/5): A very enjoyable stay. - Host went above and beyond to accommodate us due to an unexpected travel issue, and helped us tremendously this way, which I'm extremely grateful for after a long 24 hours of travel. The small gesture made a world of difference to us.
Also, this is an excellent location. I travel for work to England very often but have never stayed in this area, and now I don't ever want to stay anywhere else. Aside from the posh and chill nature of Chelsea itself, there's a Sainsbury's (grocer) literally downstairs, as well as a shopping centre, restaurants, and pubs closeby, and even a 24 hour convenience store/off license downstairs that can provide snacks, treats, liquor, etc. at any time of the day or night. This has nothing to do with the host, but the elevators take forever to arrive - to make matters worse, one was out of service the entire visit. Much of the time I just took the stairs. I couldn't help but think how inconvenient that might be for elderly or less mobile people, especially if there is some emergency.
Also, if one is not used to European hotel rooms and is used to spreading out across a large American hotel room, the size may be a bit small for one's taste (plus there is no television inside). However, we made do and were just fine.
- Tianlan (8/5): Lovely - Cozy room! It’s easy to be found. There’s sainsbury nearby the hotel. We can walk to Imperial College.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Rasa (8/5): Pleased with my stay - Location, facilities, quiet
- Catherine (9/5): Excellent stay - The location for our purposes was wonderful - a very short walk from the V&A, from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and South Kensington tube station. The area was a good one and fairly quiet. The studio apartment (in an apparthotel) was well-equipped, very clean and comfortable. There was nothing more we needed for a couple of nights' stay. The owner contacted us to make sure that everything was OK after our check-in which we thought was good. Loved the bath. Plentiful supply of hot water. Sainsbury's, a minute's walk away, was perfect for supplies. We were extremely happy with our stay and would stay again. There was just 1 little thing. The curtains didn't quite cover the windows - they needed to be much wider. They let in light round the edges and in the centre (because they wouldn't stay perfectly closed) so we woke extremely early due to the bright light streaming in. A thicker material or lined curtains would help, as well as wider, fuller ones.
FYI We hadn't noted that there was no TV although we could watch something we wanted to see on catch-up on a tablet so it was fine for us. Just pointing this out.
- Auni (8/5): Very good -
- Colette (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment matched photos and description. It was easy to find and the owner was super helpful. They gave easy instructions to find and get into the apartment. They also checked if everything was okay. The place was clean and the bed was comfy. It's only a few mins away from the underground. Would definitely book with them again.
- Noémi (9/5): Superb - Amazing location in Chelsea, tube is a couple of minutes’ walk, great value for money
- Lynette (8/5): Great place in a very nice area of London - Had all the facilities we needed Only 1 lift working
- Joanne (10/5): Excellent Property - Easy to find, well equipped.
The property had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
- Janet (7/5): Good -
- Dalma (10/5): We would love to come back! - Everything ;)
- Andrew (5/5): Apartment is in need of a bit of tlc - Good location In need of a bit of tlc. No tv which I checking I appreciate isn't listed but I unfortunately had the expectation there would be one
- Geoff (7/5): Fine but apartment would appreciate maintenance - Good location and felt secure being inside hotel.
On 6th floor so view across rooftops nice
Soft bed nice towels
Opening windows for fresh air Apartment is tired ( everything wobbles is loose or has seen better days.
Being on 6th floor is nice but lifts were out of order
No tv (it didn’t say there was one but it’s unusual!)
Would rather have had dishwasher than washing machine
Kitchen not especially clean
LED lights need a bigger transformer or dimmable lights (flickering)
- Sparkes (10/5): Absolutely perfect. - Home from home. Well equipped. Clean and very comfortable bed. No TV
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Yangzom (9/5): Reasonable price, clean, close to the tube station and friendly staff. - Having kitchen facilities, and bathtub. I would like a coffee maker in the kitchen and the bed a little firmer.
- Stef (8/5): Very good -
- Luke (7/5): Good - Loved the location, very easy to get to the south kesington tube station.
The kitchen worked perfectly and had everything we needed.
Bed was comfortable, and the room was warm (once I closed the windows) The overall room is a little worn.
The shower water will go down the back and side of the bath if the shower isn't aimed correctly. (learned this the hard way)
- Monique (10/5): My stay at the property was exceptionally enjoyable. - It exceeded my expectations in every way.
The property was immaculately clean and neat, creating a welcoming atmosphere the moment I walked in. The cozy ambiance made it feel like a home away from home, which is exactly what I needed during my travels.
One of the standout features of my stay was the owner’s responsiveness. They were always available and ready to assist with any inquiries or needs that arose. This level of attentiveness made my experience even more enjoyable, as I felt supported throughout my stay.
I left feeling very satisfied with my experience and have decided that this property will be my go-to base every time I travel to London. The combination of cleanliness, comfort, and exceptional service truly made my trip memorable. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy and reliable place to stay in the city. Having to check out
- Carolina (8/5): Very good - Location was great No television
- Robin (8/5): Great little apartment in good location. Owner is very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again. - Exactly as described by owner and previous positive reviewers. Really well-equipped kitchen area. Minor point. The shower above the bath works well but it’s a bit of a challenge to avoid water splashing onto the wall and pooling below the bath. A sealing strip between the bath and wall might help with this. Curtain attachment to curtain rail in main room needs a bit of attention. Body wash container that features in the promotional photos was completely empty when I arrived.
- Diana (10/5): Excellent choice - The owner was very kind! He answered fast , everything el was clean and the location is perfect
- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- David (7/5): Good - Modest accommodation at a great location. Water stains on the ceiling in the kitchen was not good. The bathtub/shower set up is not the best.
- Tony (9/5): Good price for Chelsea London - Staff very responsive, flexible and helpful
- Natalie (9/5): Fantastic, comfortable studio in an amazing location! - It was very comfortable, well presented and in a fantastic location. A fan was provided which was amazing as it was warm when we stayed. The owner was very accommodating and helpful when I could not work the lockbox (my own stupidity, it was not complicated haha). The microwave did not work and the bathroom is easy to accidentally flood so you have to be careful.
The only other thing is that I would have preferred a door chain to be on the door, just for ease of mind not that is is necessary - the door did firmly lock.
- Suzanne (10/5): Great base in a beautiful location. - Studio was exactly as advertised.
Excellent location and easy walk to tube station.
Would definitely recommend 👍🏻 Nothing - everything was as expected.
- Magda (10/5): Great communication with the landlord. Easy access to property. Great location. - Good location, is what you need for a weekend away in London.
- Mahajan (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very pretty and comfy.
