Le logement a probablement changé de propriétaire car lors de la réservation le style de mobilier était anglais avec beaucoup de charme alors qu’à notre Vénus sans avoir été prévenu, le mobilier était modifié avec un style indien pas très esthétique..

The tube station is right outside the flat, and lots of buses that will take you to the main touristy areas. One of the mattresses was sagging in one area, perhaps from previous heavy weight in that spot Generally, people commented on the hardness of the mattresses We saw mice in the kitchen area

• Sally (9/5): Spacious, clean and great location. - Very spacious for a family, clean, nice and warm, fairly well equipped. Very responsive host 10/10. No towel rails. The bed configuration, despite being as advertised would be more versatile if there was at least one room with twin beds instead of all doubles. Would work better for a family set up. There is sufficient room in at least one of the bedrooms. Very noisy, especially the rooms facing Chapel St due to old style windows.
• Danny (8/5): We hadden een geweldig verblijf. - Het was een héél ruim appartement met alles wat je nodig had. Vaatwas, wasmachine, microgolf, grote frigo’s met diepvries, badproducten. Ruime kamers, 2 badkamers ideaal met een groot gezin. De ligging was ook fantastisch. De metro en een voedingswinkel waren aan de overkant van de straat. Ophaling van de sleutel is ook vlot verlopen. Er was redelijk wat geluidshinder van buiten door dat de vensters maar enkel glas zijn. De matrassen waren ook aan de harde kant. Jammer dat er geen kinderbedje aanwezig was er was nogthans veel plaats.

• Lisa (5/5): So sorry place. - Fairly centrally located, but due to the tube strike transportation was extremely challenging. It was spacious. They did provide some individual cereal and packets of Nutella and jam. Coffee was largely in an open bag of grounds, rather than individual sealed pods. Apartment is very strangely laid out, particularly the kitchen and baths. Refrigerators (note that there were 2) were in the hall, there were two stoves, sinks, and washing units. The baths didn't have trash cans, hand soap, or anyplace to hang towels. One bath literally had no place to set a toothbrush. Baths also weren't very clean. Beds were either rock hard or squishy soft. As noted in other reviews, it's quite noisy with street noise including ambulance sirens. Lastly, despite it's "ground floor" title, there are 4 steps up from the street to the entry, then 3 more up to the unit. Extremely challenging since we had a wheelchair. Also, there was opened food left, such as half finished frozen fruit and an open bag of sugar.

A un paso del metro y buenas conexiones con autobuses. Lleno de comercios alrededor supermercados, bares, hasta un macdonal cerca. Hyde Park está a 15 minutos andando. He de decir que los propietarios nos han tratado fenomenal, hubo un pequeño desperfecto y lo solucionaron al instante. La comunicación con ellos buenísima. Seguro que repetiremos. Gracias. Algo de ruido, pero al llegar tan cansados no había problema para dormir y descansar.

Las sillas del comedor todas llenas de manchas. Pelusas por los pasillos...Una habitación sin ventana y ruido continuo de un equipo de aire acondicionado, no se podía dormir en ella...Nycho ruido de la calle. Ubicación buena y muy espacioso, pero es para lo que está montado, para estudiantes de temporada (dos hornos, dos lavadoras, dos fregaderos...), no para una familia unos días en Londres...

Heaps if room for everyone was really really spacious. Dinner in apartment two ovens and hot plates really good. Ground floor excellent. A bit of noise on weekends , nothing major. Beds hard not what we're use to. Could do with towel rails in bathrooms with 9 people. For ease of use TV to be programmed.

• Thomas (7/5): Convenient to grocery store and train station, property needs new furniture and facelift. - The location across from the train station was good as it specifically relates to convenient travel throughout London. There is also a very nice grocery store right across the street. The host was very responsive to service requests and consistently checked in via What'sApp to see how things were going. He was nice enough to deliver a new coffee machine with several boxes of Kuereg pods when requested to replace a machine that wasn't functioning. The apartment is big, with plenty of rooms and sleeping areas for a large group. We had 6 adults with us. The key pickup process isn't convenient. Having to walk several blocks away from the apartment, through traffic light stops, to pick-up and return the keys at a convenience store, ironically, isn't convenient at all. The beds and couches all need to be replaced. Decent mattresses WITH box springs should be a requirement. This property has neither. The property needs a thorough cleaning, painting, repairs, etc... The washer/dryer combo takes several hours to dry clothes, and even then you had to make sure loads were small. As mentioned in other reviews, since this is a ground floor apartment right across from the train station, it is VERY noisy, especially late night/early morning when people are returning from evenings out at the Pubs. Good ear plugs are a must if you want a good night's sleep.

• Anita (6/5): Pleasant - Location is really great and the unit is very spacious. The host was helpful throughout and we found some very welcome goodies on arrival. Parking is a major problem and VERY expensive, it would make a big difference if a resident permit was made available to occupants for the duration of their stay. The unit needs a major upgrade with some repairs and maintenance is required in every room. The cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms on arrival was unacceptable.
• Yogeeindran (10/5): Convenient with great transport links, nearby amenities, a clean &well-equipped property! - The main thing we encountered with the luggage and a wheel chair was that Edgware road station was that it had no lifts at all so we went to Paddington(a station away) and walked to the property. Later I discovered that if you used the Bakerloo line to Edgware road there is a lift but you would have to work out your route. Otherwise you just have to pull your luggage up the stairs. Although it was a small thing, we had to return the keys back at the store we picked up and with all the luggage out of the house it was a little hassle as I had to either drag the bags along or ask someone too watch the bags while one of us retuned. So families with young kids and luggage just have to do a little coordination on this part. Otherwise Edgware road station is just a 30 seconds from the property making it very convenient to move around. There are buses too to just go down Marble Arch and Hyde Park. Less than a minute walk across the road is Marks and Spencer Food hall and more so it really was convenient. The property too had tea bags, coffee, basic condiments which was great. The house was clean too. The windows are a little old so you do end up with cold air coming in so I just used some newspapers to close the windows a little tighter and that stopped the cold air. As there is a hospital nearby, you will hear ambulance sirens even at night everyday, but we were still able to sleep. The washing machine was not working and the host was nice enough to compensate for that. The beds are a not that firm but we were not bothered about it as we were exhausted each day and just slept through still in comfort. We still had a comfortable sleep given there were 9 of us and there was ample bedding.

• Lyle (4/5): Tired apartment in loud location. - The property itself is directly across the street from the underground station and about a 15min walk from Marlybone Train station. There is a food store across the street. Unfortunately there were more things bad than good on the property. One bathroom door wouldn’t close, while the locking mechanism on the other fell off. There were tiles broken on the floor of the large main bathroom and the toilet roll holder was barely hanging on the wall. The knobs on the one shower were loose so that shower was unusable, which was a pain with 9 people. The fridge was leaking water (for awhile) and had created damage to the floor, we had to put a towel in front of it to keep the floor dry. Definitely felt we were renting a better kept unit…it puzzles me that the reviews don’t reflect this.

• Steve (1/5): Make a different choice or accept the complications but understand the rating is not accurate. - I like that it was on the ground floor and I like that we were right next to the bus station, but that was about it. Where to start first off, booking.com is a terrible site. The messaging aspect did not work at all and it was incredibly difficult to contact the owner. Because of this, I will never use booking.com again. I emailed the owner multiple times before arriving and he never responded (again I don't know if this is the website or the owner). When I was trying to pick up the keys. It took multiple phone calls before he picked up. The key pick-up process is very weird. I had to go to a convenience store 2 blocks down to pick up the keys. Oh, and I had to give the attendant a code which the owner had not sent to me for me to get the keys. It is 2024, use keyless entry methods. In the Ad, it said the unit has A/C which is untrue, fans are not A/C. There is only one set of keys for the house. So either leave the house together and come back together. Or leave someone at the house to let other people back in. Even when I stay at hotels by myself. I always get two sets of keys. The beds are some of the worst beds I have ever been in. I travel for work so I sleep in many different beds. The beds were no different than sleeping on a box. The so-called box spring was sitting on the floor. With the cheapest possible mattress in which I can feel the box spring. I gave up trying to reach the owner but the washer/dryer did not work. The door would not open. So we could not wash any clothes. Also, if you are staying in the rooms against the main road you will hear sirens, people shouting, and active robberies all night long. Overall, I wished we stayed at the hotel across the street.

• Shanika (6/5): Pleasant - The apartment is an amazing location. The train station is across the street. There are lots of food places nearby. We had to go a block away at a convenience store to pick up the key. We had to return the key before we left to the same location.
• Catriona (6/5): Spacious comfortable basic flat. - Flat was fine, large rooms, all pretty basic, not fancy but did us ok. Communication and check in fine, people didn't really speak to us just kind of handed keys in shop which was practical but felt a bit strange. The flat is comfortable, huge and in an excellent spot next to tube for exploring London. There were a few dodgy people trying to get in, so make sure front door properly shut. Some areas not cleaned very well ie small room and the shelves in toilet etc. Some fixtures / fittings not of best standard ie toilet door handle not usable. Very noisy in the rooms at front as expected for area - bring earplugs! Despite issues still pretty good value for money and simply for size and location would still recommend so long as ok with basic accomodation.

• Ruth (7/5): Much to be enjoyed about this large apartment. Overall it was fine. Perhaps a bit overpriced. - The flat is very spacious! The building is very nice to look at from the outside and the host gave us great photos that represented the apartment well. The kitchen is well appointed. The water pressure in the showers is good. The bed linens and towels were good. We were able to get early access. Communication with host was good. Great pub nearby with breakfast. Apartment is right next to the underground. Very quick trip to get to London central. Groceries across the street. Lots of conveniences just around the corner. The flip side to such a location is the street noise. It is VERY loud through the day and night. We wore earplugs and turned on the fan to sleep and that made a big difference. The apartment furniture is not comfortable and is outdated. The couches are old and lumpy. The small couch in the second bedroom collapses anytime it is sat upon. The mattresses are not great. Picking up the key is a bit odd. We needed two sets of keys. And we should have asked for more towels as our stay was a bit longer. There are some maintenance items that should be attended to.

• Cathleen (9/5): Family of five - 3 teenage/college aged kids - Apartment exactly as presented in photos/description. Extremely spacious and comfortable. Location is excellent. Caddy-corner to the Edgeware train/tube station. M&S grocery directly across the street. Plenty of cooking space in the kitchen. Property owner is very accommodating, arranging early check-in for us at the last minute. We had a wonderful time visiting our daughter in England. Highly recommend. I can't list anything we didn't like. :-)
• Yasser (10/5): We strongly recommend this apartment. Good value of moeny - The location was amazing. The underground is about 50 m and the bus stop about 60 m. The area is full of restaurants, supermarkets, grocery shops, and coffee shops. The apartment is very comfy with large room spaces and the living room is enough for a big family or group. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics and there are two ovens and two cooking plates. Sheets, pillows, towels, blankets, cleaning tools ..etc are more than enough. The hos is very cooperative and kind.

• Charlotte (9/5): Large airy apartment. - Great location for transport and restaurants, also supermarkets within few minutes walk. Large comfortable bedrooms, spacious living room. Well equipped kitchen. Very secure. Unfortunately there was a housekeeping issue when we arrived, but a quick message to the owner and it was rectified within the hour. Would have liked window blind especially in bedrooms as it was a ground floor apartment and very public when curtains were opened.

• Bartosz (5/5): Disappointed- would not recommend for such monies they charge - It is true to say place is big approx 200 sqm so plenty of space It is true to say its conveniently located 10-12 min walk from hyde park , across the road from tube station Building from outside looks pretty as its true Victorian build with presentable features Place is run down , it costed nearly £1100 for 2 nights , and the inside is like council house after tenant just left… It screams for renovations, flooring peeling off, doors and door casing either damaged of patched up very poor standard for the monies you pay … Key collection is arranged from store few streets away which makes you feel like drug picking up process … All media were switched off . Internet , tv I wouldnt stay there again for that cost and such comfort … do not recommend

The kitchen was very well equipped and it has all the necessary items. Location is awesome, just in front of the tube station. The host was really friendly and helpful The external entrance (communal area) is quite dirty as well as the windows on the outside.
• Maria (9/5): Great apartment and comfortable stay. - For the most part I was very pleased with the apartment. It was very large and accommodated our family of 5 adults and 2 children very nicely. The location was ideal, being so close to the Edgeware Road Station and a large market. We appreciated the coffee that was on hand for our arrival. The apartment was well stocked and there was a generous supply of toilet paper to get us by. It was comfortable and very clean. We would really have appreciated having 2 sets of keys, as there were times when we would split up and do different activities. With only one set of keys, we always had to try and coordinate exact timing to return to the apartment which on a couple of occasions were inconvenient. Also, the flush button on the toilet close to the kitchen would get stuck and continue to run. Otherwise, a very nice stay.

Fresh paint made us ill, brawls, fights and screams from drugs and alcoholics at our window kept us awake all night, druggies out side door step, no kitchen facilities cook top, microwave, tv did not work, toilet seats were not secured to bowl, shower in bathroom was flooding, this property needs maintenance very uncomfortable stay.

Great area near Edgware Road Station, very convenient for travel. Took Heathrow Express from LHR to Paddington and walked 12 min to apartment. Couldn't connect to internet, password given did not work. Bring your sweaters, it was cold in apartment (Beginning June)

• Dalia (8/5): Some details missing to be perfect - The location is perfect. Also the house is very nice and stylish. The appartment is very big. Just details, but those are very important to make the stay perfect. I would suggest the owner to put several hooks for towels in bathrooms and hangers for coats in the hallway. Otherwise, you will have to hang your wet towels and coats after the rain on chairs in the dining room. Also, the communication from the owner side could be better, as the instructions how to collect the keys could be provided at least a day before coming. The taveler should not be concerned about it and use all the channels to reach the owner.

• Tiffany (9/5): Lovely apartment for our family of 9 in London - The apartment was large and spacious, plenty of room for our group of 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The apartment was also well furnished/equipped, and had a washer/dryer. The location is also great, with an M&S food and train station located right across the road. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful, and Instructions to pick up and drop off the key were provided well ahead of time and very easy to do. It took awhile to warm up with the heaters on as the place was big, but not very much of an issue at all. There wasn’t overnight street parking available nearby, so we had to find alternatives. Again, not a huge issue as we knew about this beforehand and was able to make our own arrangements.

The information provided to get there and obtain the key was very clear and communication was excellent. The apartment is huge and was perfect for our family trip. • Brianna (7/5): Good - The place was nicely located in a convenient part of London. A train station right across the street, food, markets and cafe's within a very short walking distance. The place was clean, bigger than I expected which made it very comfortable for the 5 of us staying there. Most of us got our own bedroom and the shared bedroom is quite big. The beds were extremely comfortable, I feel right to sleep every night. The wifi information wasn't shared until I asked and the signal wasn't very strong. The shower head in one of the bathrooms leaked water up and over the shower wall which soaked the bathroom floor when you used it. There was coffee and tea, however the coffee pot was a pour over, which none of us knew how to use. A filter coffee pot would've been more convenient.

• Yumi (8/5): Very good - Big house. There is enough space for everyone. Better than expected. Thin old windows which let cold air and sound come in. They also rattled. Location is good but at night we had some drugaddict sitting in front of the house that unease some people.

• Glen (5/5): Think before you book. - The place looks exactly like the picture from the website pictures. The place was very big and can accomodate up to 9 people. Everyone slept on a bed which was good. The Apartment was in front of the Circle line and the Brown line was 3 minutes away. Shops were also closeby. The bed sheets were very dirty. There was lots of stains on the bedsheets and nail clippings were seen on the bed as well, which is disgusting. The pillows also had dirty marks also. The shower beside the kitchen didnt have hot water which was very annoying cause as a big group we only could use onee of the showers which took forever.And that shower was not the best either. water kept coming out from the shower which makes a full mess outside and we had to keep drying it. There was no iron but the place has an ironing board. The tv did not work properly also. The worst part was collection of the key. The key had to be collected in some shop 4 mins away from the house. I messaged the owner for the validation code and she did not give me any code. We arrived at 12 midnight and I went to the shop and they asked me for the code but I couldnt give any cause the owner never gave it to us. I kept calling the owner but no response. It felt like we were being scammed. The shop keeper called the agency and the agency couldnt help us at all as they had no information of the owner, ridiculous. I was tired from my flight and this was happening as well. The owner then responded an hour later and gave me the code. But that was the worst part of it cause it felt like I was being scammed.
• Sudjono (7/5): A nice apartment was downgraded due to bad service attitude of the person in charge - Location and the apartment condition are good as advertised The manager incharge didn’t provide the correct information of the key and actually the key locker has been removed without he aware of it (maybe couple of days ago) and we have to wait more than 1 hr until he arrived with the key. No prior checking before our arrival and slow response. The morning on the last day suddenly the electric power went down, and when I asked for solution, no help or assistant were given until we checked out. We have to arrange our luggage in the dark in some rooms
