Sarah (3/5): Unfinished apartment unsafe electrics - The location of the apartment Although the apartment was clean the communal areas were dirty. Good communication from the host prior to arrival but terrible after problems had been identified. Someone briefly showed us to the apartment and in the kitchen. She spoke in German which I did not understand and then left very quickly. It was after she left that we realised there were no blinds or curtains. The apartment is overlooked by several other apartments. Couldn't sleep due to an apartment across shining brights lights until after 1am and then the early sunrise. I felt very uncomfortable as there was no where to get changed in private. The bathroom was very small. There were exposed wires in the bathroom and around some of the lights in the property. The apartment has clearly been renovated recently, but it is not yet finished. The furniture in the apartment is of poor quality and beds uncomfortable. When trying to reach out to the host I received a very rude and unhelpful reply, upon my response they claimed they had mixed me up with another guest but still refused to address any of the issues. The property owner said people in Germany do not have curtains or blinds. All the other surrounding properties did have these. I spent hours on the phone to booking.com and this ruined a large chunk of my stay in Germany. We left the apartment early but did not receive any alternative from booking.com.
IvanBgd (9/5): Very nice one - Very nice apartment. It has all you need, only tv missing, but for us isnt problem. 2 separate bedrooms with twin beds and living room with sofa, all new. Very nice kitchen with everithing, including dishwasher, in basement you have washing machine. Location is perfect, peacefull but close by everithing, metro U17 200m, rewe supermarket 200m, few bakerys, restaurants, atm machine, pub working until 4am...Taxi from Essend hbf in late night is arround 10€...And Vitaliy is good owner, always fast answer and usefull sugestions.
Michael (8/5): P/L sehr gut, haben uns wohlgefühlt, sehr gute Schlüsselübergabe und Service - Ohne Frühstück, aber Rewe und Bäcker nur 200 m entfernt Keine Kaffeemaschine :-)
